Is Minal Khan coming back to TV?

Fans of actress Minal Khan are eager to know if she will return to television.

Appearing as a guest on ‘What Momsense with Zara Noor Abbas’, the actress has shared her thoughts on a possible return to television screens.

“I ask myself this question every morning, and I tell myself, ‘Yes’, because I am manifesting it for myself. If I don’t think about it, it won’t happen. But I feel my baby is still young and needs her mother. But I do miss television,” she said in response to a question about her potential return.

The Jalan star also spoke about an actress she admired.

“I like Hania Aamir a lot. She is beautiful and talented. I really appreciate how she has transformed herself. I feel like she has accepted everything about herself. She knows who she is. I believe that’s what makes a woman strong. You don’t need to explain to anyone who you are when you already know it yourself,” Minal said.

After giving one hit drama serial after another, Minal took a break from TV serials when she tied the knot with Ahsan Mohsin Ikram on September 10, 2021.

She starred in dramas such as Kaash Main Teri Beti  Na Hoti, Quddusi Sahab Ki Bewah, Mann Ke Moti, Adhoori Aurat, Mere Meherban, Mol, Joru Ka Ghulam, Hum Sab Ajeeb Se Hain, Nand and Ishq Hai.

Earlier, in a podcast with with Amana Isani Haider’s, actress Minal Khan shared the challenges she faced and how her sister, Aiman Khan, stood by her side.

“After I conceived, my sister was the first person I told. She was already three months pregnant, and she was so happy for me. She told me, ‘Now you don’t need to think about anything, Minal. I’m here. It’s not difficult; I know you’ll be scared, but I’ll take you along with me on this journey.’ Thanks to her support, I didn’t feel left out,” she said.

Reflecting on her postpartum experiences, the Nand actress revealed the difficulties she faced after giving birth.

“After pregnancy, Alhamdulillah, it went smoothly, but postpartum was very difficult. I got sick right after delivery with a severe infection. I had high fever, one night reaching 106 degrees, and my sister, husband and mother were just standing there, praying. In that moment I realized how vulnerable I was… I couldn’t even take a minute off because I was a mother now,” Minal added.

Aiman Minal Closet, run by Aiman Muneeb, Minal Khan, respond to ex-employees accusations

Yesterday, an Instagram post from a user named Ali Hamid has been going viral on social media because it accused actors Aiman Muneeb and Minal Khan of exploiting workers, delaying salaries and unprofessional behavior at their organization ‘Aiman Minal Closet’.

The user had written that he had worked at the organization for a year and during his time he witnessed how employees were exploited and over-worked, but were not provided with a salary:

“They never paid me on time. Despite being such big names. They never pay their employees and whenever you message Maaz (their brother) about salary, he’d say he’ll transfer it the next week but you never really get the salary.

They owe me my six months salary and there are many employees who didn’t get their salary but didn’t do anything out of respect.

They treat their employees like slaves and disrespect them all the time but never pay them. They’re earning millions from their brand but when it comes to paying their employees, they take a back seat.”

You can read his complete statement here:

However, the organization has responded to the allegations by clarifying that Muneeb and Khan were not innvolved in the daily operations of the company:

“Aiman Khan and Minal Khan are NOT involved in the daily operations of the company, it’s owned by Maaz Khan; hence they cannot and should not be held responsible for any human resource related issue.”

Furthermore, the statement called the allegations an attempted “smear campaign” to malign the reputation of the actors, and will be dealt with through a legal procedure.

“The recent allegations by certain individuals who were ex-employees of the brand are trying to malign the reputation of Aiman Khan and Minal Khan via a planned smear campaign ; which will be responded legally.”

  • Nida Yasir gives unexpected marks to Sarah, Maya, Ayeza and Minal for their acting skills

Actor and morning show host Nida Yasir recently appeared on The Talk Talk Show where she marked the leading ladies of Pakistan out of ten for their acting skills.

The host Hassan Chaudhry first asked her about Sarah Khan, and Nida gave her 7.5 marks for her acting chops. She then marked 8.5 to Ayeza Khan, 9.5 to Maya Ali, 7.5 to Minal Khan, and 7.5 to Mawra Hocane.

The Nadaaniyaan diva stated that there is a scope for improvement in their performances.

Nida also addressed other controversies surrounding her. She has long been under scrutiny for the type of guests she invites on her morning show, Good Morning Pakistan. From the likes of Dananeer Mobeen, Ayesha Mano to Ahmed Shah, Nida has invited them all to her popular show.

However, throughout the years, many spectators have also criticised the TV host for not highlighting people with more academic achievements, and only catering to people who go viral online for ‘foolish theatrics’. Taking her chance, the famous host has finally set the record straight and reminded her audience about the many times she has provided limelight to such guests on her show.

“I want to respond to this criticism by recalling the time I invited Ayesha, the girl who became viral on TikTok for her dance to my show. Many people started asking me why I didn’t invite a specific guest who has won academic awards. The truth is, you cannot even fathom how many shows I conduct that feature academic champs, but they never get high ratings,” said the Hum Tum actor.

She then went on to highlight how Mobeen and Zara Naeem were invited on the same day together. “Once I even invited 7-8 people on one show, and they all possessed so many talented skills, but the episode went unnoticed. I also invited Zara and Dananeer together, still, people only remember the latter one better. How does the audience not recall Zara? This is not my fault, but actually of the people who want to see these guests on my show.”

Yasir elaborated her stance by speaking about the repetitive narratives used in dramas. She noted, “If our Pakistani dramas are still stuck on producing family politics storylines, it’s because of the demand too. The channels will obviously try to create more dramas that give them more profitable responses.”

Tired of the ongoing fuss, the Nadaaniyaan actor then put forth an interesting question for her critics. She asked, “When I do invite educated people to my show, why aren’t people watching them?”

She also further explained how fans request her to feature guests on her show. “I also would like to add that people even tag me in photos now to show who they want to see on my show. When I woke up one morning, I saw a picture online of the ‘Lahore Da Pawa – Akhtar Lawa’ man doctored beside me, and that’s how I learned about the viral meme circulating on the internet. I also once got a call from a man who married a woman much younger than his age asking me to invite him as a guest because he’s gone viral. Like, should I just invite you because of your marriage?”

Yasir then concluded the conversation by highlighting how viewers don’t give her the complete credit she truly deserves. “People just watch the viral clips of my show and assume that’s the only type of guests I invite, but that’s really not the case. I run a morning show that takes place every day, so I keep a proper balance of my guest list,” expressed the Yeh Zindagi Hai actor.

Actor Minal Khan has clapped back at a mean troll on Instagram for body-shaming her 3 year-old niece Amal Muneeb. The netizen commented under Amal and her celebrity parents’ picture, “Lag raha hai choti aurat upar bitha li (seems like he has made a small woman sit on him).”

The Jalan star hit back at him by saying sarcastically, “bohat achi bat hai 3 saal ki bachi ka mazak urana (a very good thing to make fun a 3-year-old child).”

Earlier this year Minal and her husband Ahsan Mohsin Ikram posted a video on social media with Amal, driving on the roads of Karachi.

Many netizens called the couple “irresponsible” both for their actions and for laughing when it’s not funny.

Minal then posted a clarification on the controversy. She stated that the duo were driving down their own street.

Last year activist and Wasim Akram’s better half, Shaneira Akram schooled actress Minal Khan for not wearing a seat belt. ‘She’s still our daughter’: Behroze Sabzwari opens up about bond with Syra Yousuf

Actor Behroze Sabzwari has opened up about his equation with former daughter-in-law Syra Yousuf in his latest interview with a digital magazine.

Syra is like my daughter, she should settle down again

The veteran actor said, “Syra is my daughter, even now. If their chemistry wasn’t compatible, we can’t do anything about it, it is up to God. All the people who trolled us, that was a difficult time for us to go through, it was harsh for Shahroz, for Syra and for the families. It was a very personal matter but people think they have a right over us, it’s not like that, we all have a personal life and social media has destroyed lives.”

The Tanhaiyaan star is supportive of Syra’s moving on and starting another family. “We’ve never seen Syra as separate from us and we never will. I’ve said to her many a time, ‘Beta, get settled down. Why not? I’m standing behind you.’ Why not? She’s our daughter and Nooreh is our life.”

Behroze opened up about the birth of the newest addition to the family, his second granddaughter and revealed her name. “She was born on 10th of Muharram, seven to eight minutes before 12. I think that 10th of Muharram is a big day for any Muslim. It is very important to me, Shahroz and the entire family. One of our elders, in connection to that, suggested Syeda Zahra Sabzwari. This is a really big present to us from Allah.”

Shahroz Sabzwari and Sadaf Kanwal tied the knot in May 2020 and their union attracted a lot of buzz as the timing overlapped with the announcement of Shahroz’s divorce with his ex-wife Yousuf. The couple welcomed their daughter earlier this month. It was Behroze who had announced that Kanwal was expecting in April.

Behroze Sabzwari speaks highly of his former daughter-in-law, Syra

Talking about the bond between the two half-sisters he said, “You cannot even imagine how excited Nooreh is, you can’t believe it, even we can’t believe it! Yesterday she was with Zahra all day and she kept her in her own room. She said to Sadaf, ‘If you want to feed her, come here and feed her’. I swear, she said to me and Safina, ‘Out, papa out.’ She calls me papa, she calls Shahroz baba, Safina mumma, Syra mimi and Sadaf Sadaf as she’s good friends with her.”

Earlier this year the father-son duo appeared together on Nida Yasir’s morning show.

On being asked by the host that who amongst the two is a more expressive husband, Behroze was quick to answer that he doesn’t believes in being expressive in public and finds expressive couples to be fake.

His son Shahroz added that he doesn’t like Public display of affection and he can’t do it. He also mentioned that it’s indeed fake love that couples express in public.

The Teri Rah Mein star added that he finds it weird when couples sit very close to each other, its just a pretense according to him and he can even challenge on this.

“I can challenge, its fake, yeh 2 number miyan-biwi hain, isko 2 numbri kehte hai. Dikhaway ke liye kartay hain.”

On the work front, Sabzwari was last seen in ARY’s Teri Rah Mein.

Now her brother-in-law, Muneeb Butt has responded to the Jalan diva’s controversy on Tabish Hashmi’s show, Hasna Mana Hai.

The Daldal actor said, ‘When this news was viral on social media, we were all laughing and the family’s WhatsApp group was flooded with memes on Minal.”

Defending Minal Khan, he said that some people are in the habit of posting too many stories on Instagram. She must have seen the picture and shared it. She didn’t mean for people to think it was her breakfast picture.

Recently Aiman responded to her Butt’s humorous comment on her brother-in-law Ahsan Mohsin Ikram’s post. Ahsan shared a picture of Minal and him holding each other’s hands and captioned the post as, “This is how it all started.”

Muneeb was quick to comment on the post, which caught Aiman’s attention. The Ishq Tamasha star asked him under his comment that why does he comment on everything?
