    The National team fast bowler Naseem Shah did not receive a No Objection Letter (NOC) for The Hundred League.

    Naseem Shah had a contract with Birmingham Phoenix in the league, for which an NOC was applied to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). However, his NOC was rejected by the board for workload management and as a precautionary measure against injuries.

    The cricketer has been informed.

    The bowler had faced fitness problems last year, and with the World Test Championship being a crucial match, he is a cricketer of all three formats.

    Naseem Shah was included in the Hundred League’s most expensive category, with a price tag of 1 lakh 25 thousand pounds (4.5 crore PKR).

    Fast bowler Naseem Shah got teary-eyed on Sunday after Pakistan’s shocking loss to India in the International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 World Cup.

    For the first time in the T20 World Cup, the Pakistani team was able to all out the Indian batsmen, but despite the excellent performance of the bowlers, the team could not win the match, scoring 113 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs. India won by six runs. Naseem Shah was on the wicket for the last ball, scoring 10 runs off four balls while he also took three wickets for 21 runs in four overs.

    The depressed bowler was comforted not only by fellow cricketer Shaheen Afridi, but Indian cricketers too, who kept patting his shoulder while shaking hands with him.

    Many social media users also praised Naseem Shah’s performance, some even said that he is the full Pakistani team for them.

    Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah is now among the most expensive players in England’s Cricket ‘The Hundred’ Players Draft.

    Birmingham Phoenix acquired Naseem Shah for £125,000, making him the first Pakistani to come in the most expensive category of GBP 125,000. His remuneration in Pakistani currency will be around 4.5 crore rupees.

    Pakistan’s Imad Wasim and Shaheen Shah Afridi have also been selected for The Hundred.

    Imad Wasim was acquired by Trent Rockets for £100,000 while Welsh Fire have signed Shaheen Shah Afridi for the second season in a row for £100,000.

    The world body of Cricket has also shared a video of brother Naseem Shah’s wicket-taking along with Obaid Shah’s disastrous bowling against New Zealand on his official Instagram page with captions “Brothers of destruction”.

    Islamabad United released a fitness report on their latest acquisition, right-arm fast bowler Naseem Shah, who joined the Islamabad team after being part of Quetta Gladiators.

    In the same week, Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the draft for the selection of players for the ninth edition of the PSL, according to which the first pick was given to Quetta Gladiators, while the second and third picks went to Karachi Kings and Islamabad United respectively.

    The PSL draft will take place immediately after the conclusion of the National T20 Cup and all the franchise owners have agreed that the dates for the ninth edition of the PSL will be decided in consultation with the government.
