Famous actress and supermodel Nausheen Shah lashed back at a person who made fun of her for not being married. During a recent fashion show in Lahore, Nausheen Shah walked the runway for designer Ali Zeeshan.
The video of her walking the runway became popular on social media, with many people commenting on it. One person expressed sadness that the actress is not married yet. Commenting on the viral clip, the user wrote, “I do feel sorry for these actresses, many of them don’t get married and just keep modeling bridal dresses.”
Nausheen wrote, “When we don’t know each other, please don’t feel sorry for us.” Nausheen added, “Whether someone gets married or not is in the hands of Allah. He has created all of us differently.”
Actor Nausheen Shah took to her instagram stories to take jibes at the Vice President of Muslim League Nawaz, Maryam Nawaz.
The Deewar-e-shab star wrote, “Being Maryam Nawaz is so fun. Just wake up and ignore your husband. Go out in protocol of your father’s slave, speak nonsense, and try to become Benazir by shouting to the limits of the throat. Sleep.”
Recently Nausheen adviced politician Firdous Aashiq Awan, on Tabish Hashmi’s chat show, “She must do less makeup and focus on politics”.
PML-N leader Hina Parvez Butt grilled Nausheen for her remarks. Butt sarcastically hit out at her by saying that being Nausheen is a joke as she wakes up, rants and strokes controversy.

Earlier when a clash started off between Nauman Niaz and veteran cricketer Shoaib Akhtar on national television, the Pehli Si Mohabat diva, Nausheen Shah extended her to support to the ‘national hero of Pakistan’.
She took to her Instagram stories and stated:
In an exclusive conversation with The Current, the Deewar-e-Shab star mentioned that Nauman is just a journalist not the owner of the channel and hence he should behave and conduct himself accordingly.
On the work front, Nausheen was last seen in Bebasi co-starring Alizeh Shah and Ali Rehman Khan.
Actor Iffat Omar appeared on Naumaan Ijaz’s talk show, G Sarkar on which she got candid about her friendships in the industry and her changed equation with fellow celebrity Nausheen Shah.
The Dour diva sttaed that alhough earlier she and Nausheen were friends but then their equation changed when Nausheen indulged in a cyber war with her ‘brother like friend’. She reffered to her best friend and A-list fashion designer Umer Sayeed.
Iffat mentioned that their fight got personal and since Umer is her brother so she and Nausheen are not on good terms anymore.
Earlier this year, Nausheen and designer Umer got into an online fight after the former voiced her frustration over being constantly picked on for not getting married and the latter passed insensitive comments on her.
After a picture of Nausheen’s note went viral on social media, Sayeed passed an insensitive comment and taunted Shah on failing to get married after trying multiple times.
Actor and model Nadia Hussain appeared on Waseem Badami’s show Har Lamha Purjosh for the Masoomana Sawal segment.
On being asked about her statement on the show Hamare Mehman about societal gender roles especially in a marriage, Nadia clarified her context.
She stated in the interview that “It’s not my responsibility to look after my husband and his things. He’s not my child whom I have to look after all the time, he’s my life partner. To demand and to expect that a woman whom you’ll marry will serve you with everything and will be responsible for all your work is totally wrong.”
“I will never raise my children like that,” adding, “Why women are expected to do chores after coming from work?”
Earlier in August 2021, she said that the society’s expectation from a woman to serve and cater her husband is wrong because her husband is her partner and not her child. The Benaam diva added that she is not raising her children the way society functions.
The Noor Bano actor concluded her stance by stating, “A woman should have a right to divorce. My father-in-law told my mother about the clause -18 in Nikkah papers, in which a girl has a right to divorce. It is generally crossed in papers, but my father-in-law made sure to uncross that section.”
When the host asked her about Sadaf Kanwal’s recent remarks over gender roles in marriage. Nadia criticised her and said that she has a problem with Sadaf’s comment because she used the phrase, “Yeh humara culture hai”.
She even said that “Beshaq wo uske jhootay uthaye yaan uskay talway chatay, mujhe kya farq parta hai?”
Sadaf Kanwal and Shahroz Sabzwari appeared on ARY’s Hamary Mehmaan. The Alif actress was asked about her take on equality in marriage, to which she answered that ‘Mard ka darja upar hai, wo kamata hai, khilata hai, bachon ka khayal rakhta hai’.
She added that, ‘Mujhe Sherry ka zyada pata hona chahiye’, because she’s the wife.

As Aadi was one of the industry members who slammed her for her choice of wording, the Dugdugi diva said on his face that she chose not to respond to him because his level is not that high that she would respond to him.
She said, “Maine to iska reply hi nahi kia, isko bilkul ignore kia.”
She added, “You are very creepy, cheapness isi liye ki thi takay koi response aye but ap abhi us level pe nahi aye.”
Shah earlier expressed her annoyance over being constantly berated by her mother for not getting married, saying that it is part of Pakistani culture for mothers to constantly remind a single woman to get married.
“This happens only in this country. If you are not married your mother will remind you every day. Shaadi kerlo shaadi kerlo nhi kerne shaadi bhai maaf kerdo Jaan chordo (Get married, get married. I don’t want to get married. Let me be),” the actor had written tempestuously.
Meanwhile, comedian and host Adeal Ajmal aka Aadi also got furious over Shah for using abusive language for Pakistan and Pakistani mothers.
Criticising Shah for her comments, Aadi said: “Are you sure you want to use this term [expletive word] as a public figure? Maaf kerdo, jaan choro to you Mom? Are you sure to post this on your profile?”
He also urged the actress to leave this country, if she has so much problem with it.

Actor Nausheen Shah appeared on Tabish Hashmi’s show TBH, on which the Pehli Si Mohabbat diva was asked to give suggestions to certain politicians.
When the host asked her to give an advice for the Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, the Dudugi star was quick to suggest that he should stop eating junk and change his shape.
She elaborated that since he is not diagnosed with any disease he should be more mindful of his appetite.
The Deewar-e-Shab actor concluded by mentioning that the politicians who are corrupt should be ashamed and rather die.
Leading Pakistani celebrities have taken to their social media to raise voice for veteran comedian Umer Sharif’s treatment.
Taking to Instagram stories, Nausheen Shah requested Prime Minister Imran Khan to “remember the times when he (Umer Sharif) stood by you.” and requested him to help the Zameen Aasman star.
Similarly, singer Aima Baig, actors Ayesha Omar and Areeba Habib took to their social media handles to express concern for Umer Sharif.
Umer’s wife, Zareen posted a status which read: : “24 hours are crucial for Umer please pray as much as you can.”
While, anchor Waseem Badami took to Twitter and shared that he received a call from the Prime Minister’s Office and it said that all possible work would be done to ensure Umer Sharif’s early trip abroad.

Mahira Khan has made her comeback on television with HUM TV’s Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay co-starring Usman Mukhtar and Kubra Khan. Pehli Si Mohabat star Nausheen Shah took to her Instagram stories to express her excitement and appreciation for the Raees diva’s performance as Mehreen in the series.
The Dewaar-e-Shab actor called the teasers of the show “mind blowing”.
“One can see the growth very clearly,” adding, “I congratulate you and the whole team of Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay, buhat sara pyaar aur duayein meri aur hum sab ki superstar Mahira,” she wrote while congratulating the Humsafar star.
The drama reflects on childhood traumas and how the wrong upbringing and discrimination from elders can negatively impact their lives.
On the work front, Nausheen won the ‘Most Stylish Actress (Television)’ award at the the 5th Hum Style Awards in July 2021.
