    Shahid Afridi has a message for people who do celebratory gunfire on New Year

    Former Pakistan Cricket Team Captain Shahid Afridi has urged Pakistanis to refrain from celebratory gunfire on New Year’s.

    Afridi, who is also the Director Sports of Samaa News, gave this message to his fans on the channel.

    The aerial gunfire on New Year’s night is so prevalent that the state machinery has been overwhelmed.

    Karachi District South Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Zubair Nazir is part of a police campaign against celebratory gunfire, which has already been declared illegal.

    “On the behalf of the Addtional IG Karachi and the South Police, I request all of you that please don’t celebrate the New Year in a way that leads to the loss of so many lives because of gunfire,” Afridi said in a video message.

    “Celebrate the New Year with love and by caring about each other,” he said.

    Veteran Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram also took to his social media to urge people to stop gun-firing on New Year.

    Celebratory gunfire has become a trend in Pakistan in the recent years. This has also become a reason of infinite deaths every year.

    The President House (Aiwan-e-Saddar) in Islamabad will be open to the public for one day in the new year, according to the administration.

    Face masks will be required, and vaccination certificates for Covid-19 will be checked at the gate before entering the president house.

    Visitors will not be permitted to carry any electronic devices with them, including cell phones and cameras.

    This is not the first time it will be open to the general public; since 2018, it has been open to the public for a day every year.

    Soon after taking office, Prime Minister Khan promised that the public will have access to these government assets.

    Here’s why KP Police arrested this guy for wearing ‘wolf mask’

    A man, who was wearing a ‘wolf mask’ in Peshawar on New Year’s Eve, was arrested by the Peshawar police for “trying to scare off people” in the provincial capital.

    After the arrest, the police officials posed alongside the man, still wearing a mask and in handcuffs, for a picture. The photo went viral on social media, prompting people to say that if the intent of the costume was to scare off people off then why were police taking pictures of the accused in the same costume.

    But the detainee says that he was wearing the mask in line with the government’s coronavirus Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    Twitterati, however, didn’t let this opportunity to bash policemen go.

    A user wrote that the government should have been specific about the types of the face mask.

    Another said that the policeman who wasn’t wearing a mask in the photo was scarier than ‘wolf-man’.

    3. Organize Family Game Night

    Your family’s your best-friend? Call them all over and have game night. Charades and Taboo are two games that are great family fun. Taboo is available at many toy stores. Or make the parents happy and play some old school Tambola.

    4. Sleep In

    The joy of this. You might feel bad because you might be the only one not updating your Instagram stories, but nothing beats a good night’s sleep.

    5. Plan a Photoshoot

    Get dressed, get the kids ready and take a bunch of beautiful shots. Check out the landscape and portrait modes on your phone and get ready to have picture perfect memories of the last day of 2019, and the decade.
