In a live show on ARY today, television host and salon owner Rabia Anum walked out of Nida Yasir’s morning show, ‘Good Morning Pakistan’. Rabia was invited to the show as a guest, alongside Fiza Ali and Mohsin Abbas Haider.
According to sources, Rabia was not told that she had been invited alongside Mohsin on the show. Rabia had been vocal against Mohsin after Mohsin’s former wife Fatima revealed that she had been a victim of domestic abuse during their marriage.
Rabia decided to leave the show after a few minutes of the show being live. According to reliable sources, while walking out, Rabia said on live television that she cannot share a platform with a wife-beater.

She also cried while exiting the show. She elaborated on the fact that if today she will compromise on her morals, and share the platform with Mohsin, she will never be able to raise her voice for her daughters or friends when they would be at the receiving end of domestic violence.
However, right after the first segment, which was shot at the beginning of the show, Rabia left the show, which has been edited out. Mohsin was accused of domestic violence by his former wife, Fatima Sohail, in 2019. The controversy grabbed national headlines and Mohsin was boycotted by certain influential personalities of the fraternity. He was also kicked out of Mazaaq Raat. A lower court in Lahore even found Mohsin guilty of threatening his former wife.
Actor Mathira has lashed out at model and host Kiran Butt for age-shaming superstar Mehwish Hayat. Kiran recently asked Khalil-ur-Rehman on Ahmad Ali Butt’s show that people speculate by Mehwish’s age a lot these days so is this the reason Qamar wouldn’t work with her?
Mathira commented under a blog’s post who shared this video clip. The Raasta diva slammed Butt for her remarks. Mathira also wrote, “I bet Kiran is one of those girls who are stuck on 25 (years of age) for the next 25 years.”
Earlier this month, Mathira took to her Instagram stories to hit out at fellow actress Kiran Tabier for her recent comment about the Blind Love diva. A fan recently told Kiran that she looks like Mathira’s twin sister.
The Parizaad star expressed her disappointment on the same and sarcastically told the netizen that if she’s a woman, her thinking needs a salute.
Mathira responded to it by saying, “Being compared to me is not swearing or a bad word. But if u think then that’s your head Anyways. Apki Soch ko salam Karna Chahie. Why do people think I am that bad?”
In March 2022, Mathira schooled senior actress Naima Khan for her remarks about a women’s body on Nida Yasir’s morning show. Naima Khan said on the show, “I get uncomfortable whenever I see someone fat. Though young girls are against me, I replied to them that I thought you are Aunty standing here. You should look like a girl.”
She also discussed in the morning show that young girls should maintain their bodies so that they could prevent diseases such as blood pressure and diabetes.

Mathira referred to Naima an ‘aunty’ and told her to focus on herself. She thinks that Naima has an uneducated and toxic thought process, the Blind Love diva couldn’t comprehend how Naima could utter something so unethical during a morning show.
On Tuesday, model Mehreen Syed took to Instagram to announce the news. “Mashallah, Allah’s mercy. Congratulations,” she wrote. Judging by her caption, the couple has been blessed with a baby girl.

Actor Eshal Fayyaz has clapped back at a troll on Instagram for slut shaming her under the comment section of her recent post.
The troll told her to show her talent and not her body. He also used some derogatory terms for the Kaaf Kangana star.
Eshal replied to him by saying that it is her social media account and he can unfollow her. She also stated that the dirt is in his mindset and not her post.
Last year, in a rare and candid interview, Fayyaz opened up about being sexually assaulted by her abusive stepfather.
Speaking to Nida Yasir on her Ramzan special show Shaan e Sahoor, Eshal said: “My biological father died when I was 3-4 years old after that my mother got married again.”
“My stepfather tried to rape me multiple times and I decided enough is enough when he attempted for the fourth time. I shared it with my sister and together we told my mother. After that, she divorced him and never got married again.”
The actress also clarified rumours of her alleged marriage with Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar (KRQ).
When Nida asked her about these rumours, Eshal said that she had no idea who spread these rumours.
“When the rumours of my and Khalil-ur-Rehman’s marriage spread, I was so afraid that I locked myself in the room and I was sitting alone, crying in my room,” said Eshal. “My mother explained to me that sitting in fear will not do anything. Go in front of people and explain, after which I faced the public and clarified all the rumours.”
The actor further said that Qamar is like family to her and lashed out at social media for spreading false rumours. Fayyaz further remarked that life was very easy when social media didn’t exist but after its takeover people have become negative and harass others.
Talking about her next project, Eshal said that she is working on her next film Mein Hoon Teri Gulnaz, which will also be produced by KRQ. Qamar and Eshal had earlier also worked together in Kaaf Kangana.

“The day after I reached the Maldives I got to know that my mother passed away. During Covid, I was not even able to come back at once because of the corona test and other safety measures. The next morning I found out about my mother’s death, I just spent the whole day praying to Allah to create an easy way for me so I can go back home and see my mother. This thing hurts me the most that I was not there with my mother during her last moments.”
She added, “My sisters always make me understand that it is very difficult to forget those last moments as they are very painful. I don’t know if that was it a punishment Allah gave me or something else but it will always remain the biggest regret of my life.”
Earlier this year the Chakkar producer made headlines for refusing a male fan’s request of selfie. The Nadaniyaan diva could be seen saying in the video that I don’t take pictures with men.
Later, a clip from The Current’s exclusive interview with Nida is resurfacing on web in which she stated the reason of doing so.
“The reason is that I have seen photographs of a lot of actresses on random pages with captions. They [other actresses] must’ve posed considering them their fans but the captions on Facebook etc say ‘Meet my friend, [XYZ],” she said.

She left the drama shoot of Mohabbat Ki Akhri Kahani, which was being shot in Kashmir, without any information and reason. Mohabbat Ki Akhri Kahani features Sami Khan in the lead.

Earlier in June 2021, celebrity couple Yasir Nawaz and Nida Yasir appeared on Ahsan Khan’s show Time out with Ahsan Khan. During the interview, Nida revealed that Yasir had regrets about working with Alizeh Shah in the drama serial Mera Dil Mera Dushman.
On being asked by the host, Nida said that Yasir had some difficulty working with the Ehd-e-Wafa star and building chemistry with her since they played a married couple in the serial.
The Dil Mom Ka Diya actor then added that he regrets working with Alizeh and he wanted the show to be wrapped earlier than the makers because of this issue.
In July, the Ishq Tamasha star has shared her stance on the matter by saying that, “Everyone connects to a person differently, just like our families, we don’t get along with everyone.”
She added, “We can’t always get along and one should expect the same behaviour same as they behave themselves, if you misbehave with me, I will not stay quiet. I will respond back.”
Later their co-star from the same drama, Naveed Raza also spilled the beans on the matter on Ahsan’s show.
He stated, ‘Yasir is a veteran actor and director, who gave her the right to misbehave with him?”
He added, “She demanded to cut his lines and scenes with her.”
‘When the two used to be in the make-up room, and Yasir would dry his hair, she asked the assistant to shift Yasir’s seat somewhere far and cited that the heated air of the dryer is bothering her.”
“Talking to your senior actor like this is called rudeness, which is completely wrong.”
He concluded by saying that no matter how successful you are, you cannot talk to a senior like that.
She should be grateful that a star like Yasir worked with her.

However this didn’t sit down well with Shagufta (51 years old), who took her to a corner and told her to not refer her as auntie on the sets. The senior actress played the role of Nida’s mother in the play.
Nida confessed, “I realized i shouldn’t have called her auntie on the sets but I used to do it out of respect, even with other actresses like Bushra Ansari and Rubina Ashraf.”

Now even I will tell my juniors to not refer to me as Nida auntie.”

Almost at the end of this interview, the host Hassan Chaudhry asked Nida if she is watching Yasir’s Chaudhry And Sons, she was quick to reply that no she isn’t, “Main to nahi dekh rahi.”
“Maine Yasir se kaha ke apne galat selection ki (I told him you made the wrong choice).
She continued adding that, “Yasir is doing main lead roles, he didn’t read the script and accepted the offer, I have many issues with it, I strongly disliked it and I am angry.”

The Nadaaniyan diva also mentioned, “He is offered such great projects, I won’t name the production house but Yasir shows tantrums to others but he did this, I don’t know, maybe he did it for the producer.
Yasir revealed that he was disturbed throughout the process of playing this character. He did it for the people associated it with as it is produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi.
The actor-director elaborated further about his career’s successful projects opposite the likes of Sajal Aly and Neelam Muneer, hence his part in the play is not what he expected it to be.
