    Sarwat Gillani is currently riding on the success of Churails, in an Instagram story the Dil-e-Muntazir actress has requested authorities to punish the sons of Mufti-Aziz-Ur-Rehman. He was arrested by Lahore Police on Sunday from Mianwali after a video went viral on social media in which Mufti Aziz could be seen sexually assaulting one of his madrassa (seminary) students. He confessed his crime after getting arrested.

    “Good job to our police for trying to track him down in ten cities after he went into hiding, finally catching him after he escaped at least three times,” wrote Sarwat in her Instagram story.”

    Sarwat will be seen next in Zee5’s Yaar Julahe.

    Lahore police arrested Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman from Mianwali on charges of molesting one of his students. 

    An FIR was registered against him on the victim’s complaint on June 16. The man in the video can be seen harassing women advising them to wear ‘dupata’, and in one of the video, he even touched a female. After the video went viral, the authorities have arrested the man.  

    What worries me is that the man uploaded the video on Youtube, and called it a prank and many people actually enjoyed the video, but I am glad that he behind the bars.

    Lahore police book Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman for sexual assault 

    An FIR (first information report) has been registered against Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman at Lahore’s North Cantt Police Station. Mufti Aziz-ur-Rehman’s video went viral on social media in which he can be allegedly seen sexually assaulting one of his students. The victim got admission to the Jamia Manzoorul Islamia in 2013, as per the FIR.

    Muslim women can now perform Hajj without a male guardian

    In a landmark move, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj has allowed women to perform the annual holy pilgrimage, scheduled to be held in July this year, without a male guardian (mahram). 

    “Those wishing to perform Hajj will have to register individually. Women can register without a mahram (male guardian) along with other women,” the ministry said in a tweet.

    TARIQ AZIZ’S FIRST DEATH ANNIVERSARY 

    Pakistan’s first television Tariq Aziz’s first death anniversary is being observed today. He passed away in Lahore in 2020 at the age of 84 due to cardiac arrest.     FIA summons Shehbaz Sharif in sugar scam inquiry

    The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday summoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif for questioning in connection with its ongoing probe into the sugar scam. 

    The subpoena served to Shehbaz warned him of legal action, including his possible arrest, in case he fails to show up before the FIA.

    Pakistan reports less than 1,000 corona cases since Feb 2021 

    For the first time since February 15, Pakistan has reported less than 1,000 cases in the last 24 hours, data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) showed.

    In the last 24 hours, a total of 35,039 tests were conducted across the country out of which 838 people tested positive for the virus, thus putting the coronavirus positivity ratio at 2.39 per cent.

    Actress Meera is always in the news for one reason or the other, the Baaji actress cried in a live media interaction today post an attack on her family and property by armed goons.

    Meera claimed that the attackers physically assaulted her brother and mother over property clash. She appealed for help through the video and states that she and her family are ready to be hanged publicly if their claims are proven to be false.

    Good Morning, *|MERGE1|*. It’s June 8, Tuesday. And my birthday!
    I went for my vaccination yesterday (finally!) and I am so happy that I have gotten my first dose. I will keep you guys updated about any side-effects and post-vaccine symptoms if I feel any.? 
    Also, if you are confused about the procedure, I recorded a little video for you. I went there with Sajjal and we had to face a little bit of drama because she went without receiving her code .

    Yesterday, my Instagram feed was full of Hania Amir and Asim Azhar’s tweets and posts. To be honest, I am still a bit confused about the whole story.     I often watch movies on Sundays to lighten up my mood. But something unusual happened yesterday. I watched a Hong Kong movie, a romantic drama called ‘In the mood for love’ and Ahhhh! I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s a love story about love itself and how it lingers in the minds of its subjects far longer than anyone relationship ever can. This has changed my whole perception about love.

    Sindh government eases COVID restrictions ?

    • Through your phone, add us by hitting the “Kabob,” (the three dots in upper right-hand corner). Then click “move to,” and select “primary inbox.”
    • If you’re using a desktop just drag and drop the email into primary as shown in the video below. (You can also do this on your phone if you open your email in your browser). Easy.
