    Bangladesh won the second Test match by six wickets at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, defeating Pakistan in the two-match Test series.

    On the third day of play, Pakistani bowlers were overshadowed, sending six players to the pavilion for a total of 26 runs but wicketkeeper-batsman Liton Das’s 138 and Mehdi Hasan’s 78 led the team to a total score of 262 runs.

    These two batsmen put on a partnership of 165 runs for the seventh wicket. Khurram Shahzad took six wickets for Pakistan, while Mir Hamza and Salman Ali Agha took two each.

    Pakistan’s team bowled out for 274 runs in the first Test against Bangladesh in the Rawalpindi Test.

    The first day was washed out due to rain, on the second day, Bangladesh captain Najamul Hasan Shanto won the toss and decided to bowl first.

    On behalf of Pakistan, Abdullah Shafiq and Saim Ayub opened the innings, but Tasikn Ahmed bowled Abdullah for zero in the first over.

    After the dismissal of Abdullah Shafiq, Saim formed a joint partnership of 107 runs with captain Shan Masood, but Shan scored 57 runs and was dismissed by Mehdi Hasan Miraz. Mehdi Hasan also dismissed Saim on 58 runs.

    Apart from this, Saud Shakeel scored 18, Babar Azam 31 runs, Muhammad Rizwan 29 runs, and Salman Ali Agha scored 15 runs.

    Bangladesh has a 1-0 lead over Pakistan in the two-Test series.

    The second Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh is scheduled to be played today at 10:30 am in the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

    However, Rawalpindi and Islamabad have been experiencing intermittent rain since morning, and the Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy skies till the afternoon of the first day of the match.

    Rain water has accumulated on most of the outfield of the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, and the groundskeepers will soon start working to dry it.

    The toss is likely to be delayed due to rain and a wet outfield while the pitch has been completely covered.

    In the first match of the two-test series, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets, taking a 1-0 lead in the series.

  • Pakistan makes two changes for second Test against Bangladesh

    Two new players have been included in the national cricket team for the second Test match against Bangladesh.

    Mystery spinners Abrar Ahmed and Kamran Ghulam have been included in the national Test squad. They were released from the Test squad before the start of the first Test match and were playing for the Pakistan Shaheens in the 4-day match against Bangladesh ‘A’ at Islamabad Club.

    Apart from this, fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi came to Karachi for the birth of his son and he has now rejoined the squad in Pindi.

    Amir Jamal, who left the squad to work on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), was also recalled during his participation in the second Test. He will be subjected to fitness clearance.

    The team management and senior players are not happy with the overall fast bowlers’ performance in the first Test.

    The second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be played from August 30 to September 3 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

    In the first Test, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by ten wickets in Rawalpindi.

    Bangladesh has defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets in the first Test of three match Test series in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

    Pakistan were bowled out for just 146 in their second innings on the final day of the Rawalpindi Test, leaving Bangladesh with a target of just 30 runs to win.

    On the last day of the Rawalpindi Test match, Pakistan started the innings with the loss of one wicket when captain Shan Masood lost his wicket after adding just five runs.

    After that, Babar Azam, 22, Abdullah Shafiq, 37, Shaheen Shah Afridi, 2, Naseem Shah, 3, Saud Shakeel, Salman Ali Agha and Muhammad Ali were dismissed for zero.

    Mohammad Rizwan scored 51 runs, Pakistan had a lead of only 29 against Bangladesh.

    Mehdi Hasan Miraz 4, Shakib Al Hasan 3 while Sharaful Islam, Naheed Hasan and Hasan Mehmood got one wicket each in the second innings from Bangladesh.

    Chasing the target of 155 runs, the Bangladesh team bowled out for 150 runs in 35.5 overs. From Pakistan’s side, Ubiad Shah dismissed 5 players, Ali Raza took three wickets while Muhammad Zeshan took one but final wicket.
