  • Fawad Khan set to make his comeback on television with ‘Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo’

    Fawad Khan will reportedly be essaying the lead role in the TV adaption of Farhat Ishtiaq’s Novel Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo. The cast of the show has not been officially announced yet but rumours are circulating that Fawad Khan will be the part of the project. If the speculation turns out to be true, this will mark Fawad’s much awaited comeback on the small screen after eight years since his last television series, Numm (2013).

    Earlier in 2020, Farhat Ishtiaq in a Twitter exchange said that the cast of the show has not been decided yet. Meanwhile, the shooting of the project is on halt due to the Corona pandemic.

    Farhat has many popular dramas to her name including, Udaari, Parwaaz Hai Junoon and Yeh Dil Mera Hai.

  • ‘Shahzad Sheikh could have been casted in Suno Chanda instead of Farhan Saeed’: Iqra Aziz

    Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain recently appeared on The Couple show hosted by Aagha Ali and Hina Altaf. During the rapid-fire segment of the show, Hina asked Iqra that who could have played the character of Fahan Saeed in Suno Chanda? The options included: Wahaj Ali, Shahzad Sheikh and Imran Ashraf to which Hina replied, “Shehzad Sheikh.”

    Hina also asked Iqra about preferred co-star for her debut film, the Ranjha Ranjha Kardi actress answered Asim Azhar’s name.

    Iqra and Yasir were last seen together in drama serial Jhooti. Post a public proposal, an intimate engagement, Iqra and Yasir tied the knot in December 2019.

  • Areeba Habib schools political leaders over ‘uncivilised’ behaviour

    Areeba Habib appeared on Geo’s Jashan-e-Cricket where she had a discussion about her industry, work and sociopolitical matters. The Jalan actress said that before joining politics, politicians should go to schools to learn manners.

    The actress was commenting on the recent incident of the use of foul language during the budget speech of Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif. Moments after Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president started speaking, he was greeted with loud slogans and whistles from the treasury benches.

    “I think they all should be admitted to a finishing school before getting into politics so that they can learn [manners] and learn how to behave with each other.”

    “But not everyone is like this, there are some good [politicians] too,” she added.

    When the host asked what should they learn in finishing school? Areeba replied that they should learn how to be civilised and to be patient.

  • ‘We should marry more than once’: Feroze Khan

    Feroze Khan graced Ahsan Khan’s chat show with his sister Humaima Malick on Time Out with Ahsan Khan, the actor has been lately making news for his controversial statements.

    On being asked if he thinks he married at an early age, the Khaani actor answered that he doesn’t think so and one should marry more than once.

    “I should have married at a younger age, marriage is a learning experience,” said Feroze.

    “I think we should marry more than once like our Prophet (PBUH),” he added.

    On the work front, Feroze Khan can be seen in Geo’s Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3, co-starring Iqra Aziz. The episode will go on air this weekend.

  • Coke Studio 2021: Rohail Hyatt’s loss is Xulfi’s gain?

    Musician Xulfi will be taking over Coke Studio’s forthcoming season. The Aghosh singer has confirmed the news on his Twitter handlle. Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan popularly known as Xulfi is a producer, singer-songwriter, composer and guitarist.

    “Shuru karain? (Let’s begin?),” the official twitter handle of Coke studio wrote while tagging Xulfi in the post to which the singer responded with a smile emoji, confirming that he is now taking over Coke Studio.

    Earlier, this year in March Rohail Hyatt, during a Twitter exchange with a fan, revealed that he is stepping down as Coke Studio’s (CS) producer.

    Rohail later in a twitter exchange suggested that Xulfi is the best option to replace him a s producer.

    Hyatt joined Coke Studio in 2008 with its first season but stepped down after 6 seasons. He was later brought back for the 12th season in 2019, though it failed to impress audiences. Rohail also produced the latest Season 13, which had only twelve songs due to COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns.
