  • Atif, Hania and Kubra start shooting for ‘Sang-e-Mah’ in Islamabad

    The stellar ensemble cast of ‘Sang-e-Mah’ has started shooting in Islamabad, a sequel of the 2016 blockbuster, ‘Sang-e-Mar Mar’. Directed by Saife Hassan the drama starred Nauman Ijaz, Sania Saeed, Kubra Khan, Mikaal Zulfiqar, and Omair Rana in leading roles.

    While the makers are keeping Atif and Hania’s look under-wraps, a few behind the scene pictures has gone viral on social media, featuring Kubra Khan, Nadia Afgan, Nouman Ijaz and Shamil Khan.

    Atif Aslam will make his small screen debut in the drama. Hania Aamir has been roped into play the parallel female lead.  It is basically a trilogy series with Sang-e-Mah, and Sang-e- Siyah in the pipeline.

    The drama depicted the story of a Pathan family and took the audience on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Even though people weren’t so happy with the ending of the drama yet, it achieved success and critical acclaim.

    Actor Yasir Hussain is currently in isolation as he tested positive for Covid-19, the Karachi Se Lahore star hosted a Q&A session on his official Instagram handle to interact with his fans.

    While answering a netizen’s question on his and Sajal Aly’s bond, he stated that the Mom diva is no one’s friend, he added further that this is indeed a good trait.

    The Jhoothi actor believes that, “this industry is not a good place for friendships.”

    One of the netizens had asked that who is his friend? Yasir replied that Wajahat Rauf is his best friend.

    While one of the fans asked him about Sajal and Ahad’s couple, replying, he said: “Cutest couple.”

    Yasir and Iqra Aziz welcomed their baby boy on July 23 and named him Kabir Hussain.

    On the work front, Yasir will be seen next opposite Ayesha Omar in criminal Javed Iqbal‘s biopic.

    Youtuber Zaid Ali and wife Yumnah Ali welcomed a baby boy, Izyan Ali on August 18th. Several Pakistani celebrities congratulated the couple on their social media posts.

    Zaid took to Instagram yesterday to make the announcement with a photo of little Izyan Ali holding his finger.

    He wrote in the caption, “Alhamdulilah! [On] August 18th, 2021, we have been blessed with Izyan Ali Zaid.” He added that the birth of his son is the “best anniversary gift”.

    Fellow celebrities congratulated the duo in the comment section of Zaid’s post. “Congrats man, you did it!” wrote fellow content creator Shahveer Jafry. “Mashallah! Hope Yumna and baby are doing well. Warmest congratulations!” stated actor Noor Zafar Khan.

    “What a great day Mashallah. Congratulations to the both of you! Can’t wait to meet little Izyan,” chimed in Zoya Nasir. Bilal Abbas Khan, YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, TikToker Romaisa Khan and Shaam Idrees also sent the duo their congratulatory messages.

    Zaid and Yumnah tied the knot on August 18, 2017 and announced that they were expecting their first child in March this year. They also shared a video of their gender reveal party on YouTube.

    Actor Mariyam Nafees has lashed out at the government and opposition for the delay in justice for crimes against women. The Diyar-e-Dil star took to social media to share a note addressing Prime Minister Imran Khan followed by a post for PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto.

    “Honestly, right at this moment, women of this country either own a weapon or leave. Just a reminder maximum amount of women came out to vote for you,” the note read.

    “Zero security and cries for justice is what we have been getting in return for voting for Tehreek Insaf.”

    In another post, the actor slammed chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and calling him an “opportunist.”

    Aiman Khan endorses Hamza Ali Abbasi’s stance on four marriages

    Actor Aiman Khan has endorsed Hamza Ali Abbasi’s stance on four marriages in Islam, that the Pyaray Afzal star stated in a recent interview.

    Aiman shared a clip of her Mann Mayal co-star on Instagram stories in which he was talking about his views on the four marriages in Islam.

    “The Ayah about four marriages in Islam has come under specific extraordinary conditions. I think the Ayah came after War of Uhad when the women and children were despondent on streets and there were no social institutions to look after them,” said Hamza in the interview while explaining his understandings of Surah e Uhud.

    The Jawani Phir Nahi Aani star further said that by Allah’s command, men at that time were asked to take care of the orphans and marry their mothers.

    The Alif star went on to remind the host that the scripture also mentions that doing justice to multiple wives is very unlikely so it is advisable to marry only once.

    Federal Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari has said that the Ministry of Human Rights is in touch with Punjab authorities to ensure strict action.

  • Hamza Ali Abbasi gets candid on marrying more than once in Islam

    Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi in a recent interview has opened up about his stance on marrying more than once in regards to religious references.

    “The Ayah about four marriages in Islam has come under specific and extraordinary conditions. I think the Ayah came after War of Uhad when the women and children were despondent on streets and there were no social institutions to look after them,” said Hamza.

    He further said that Allah said to take care of orphans, and if not then at least marry their mothers, he had given this option for the ease of widows and orphans, Allah says that if you can do justice , only then marry more than once otherwise one is enough.

    The Alif star has finished the first draft of his upcoming book on Allah, that he announced three months ago.

    In November 2019, the Jawani Phir Nahi Aani actor had announced that he is taking a break from acting to focus on his spiritual journey and get a better understanding of Islam.

    Fawad Khan is pairing up again with his Zindagi Gulzar Hai co-star Sanam Saeed for a Television commercial. The duo were last paired together for Sadaf Fawad’s bridal collection’s photoshoot.

    A BTS picture of the two with a child star has been doing the rounds on social media.

    The blockbuster pair will be appearing together in Haseeb Hasan’s directorial venture Aan. Acclaimed writer Umera Ahmed will pen the script for the film, while the cast includes Zara Noor Abbas along with Javed Sheikh, Navid Shehzad, Nayyar Ejaz, Naeem Tahir and Aly Khan.
