  • Saboor Aly dislikes being compared with elder sister Sajal

    In a recent interview with BBC Urdu Saboor Aly opened up about people comparing her with sister Sajal Aly.

    “There are comparisons between me and Sajal when it comes to work,” said Saboor adding, “People compare us online and create competition.”

    The actress further added, “At times it’s about who is more prettier and successful, I would just like to say, both of us have our own identities so please acknowledge that.”

    Earlier this month, Sajal Aly posted a picture of her on Instagram and netizens including Mahira Khan are thinking that Sajal resembles a lot like her sister Saboor in the picture.

  • Adnan Siddiqui congratulates Nadia Jamil on being cancer free

    Adnan Siddiqui took to his Instagram account to congratulate Nadia Jamil on being cancer free, along with a long note he also shared some old pictures with the actress.

    “Nadia Jamil so proud of you, my friend. You fought like a warrior, taking everything head on,” wrote Adnan.

    “And the results are for everyone to see! It was your indomitable spirit that conquered the evil of cancer. It’s a tough battle, one that exhausts you physically, mentally and emotionally but you ain’t the one to be cowed down,” he added.

    Nadia Jamil in an heartfelt Instagram post announced that she is now ‘cancer free’.

  • Two new star-studded dramas start shooting

    Muneeb Butt will be sharing the screen space with Qayamat fame Amar Khan in ARY’s upcoming drama serial Baddua, under the direction of Jhooti fame Ramish Rizvi. Amar Khan confirmed the news while taking to Dawn Images. The upcoming drama is produced by by Abdullah Seja and penned down by Samina Ijaz.

    Talking about her character Amar added, “She’s somebody who’s opinionated. She finds herself shackled, but how she breaks free from that is admirable.”Other cast members of the drama include Samina Ahmed, Mehmood Aslam and Rubina Ashraf.

    Muneeb Butt will play a flirtatious character in the play.

    Ahsan Khan and Mawra Hocane will be seen together in an upcoming drama serial, the title has not been locked yet. Details of the project are being kept under wraps. The two are currently shooting for the play in Islamabad.

    Saba was invited to Hassan Sheheryar Yaseen’s (HSY) show, Tonight With HSY , when the host quipped her about her controversial post, she revealed that it was a prank by Hamza. Saba elaborated that when she and Hamza were sitting together somewhere, the Man Mayal actor asked her if he could check her Facebook, Saba said she thought that maybe he wanted her to like some page and was going to do it for her, therefore, she handed over her phone to him. Hamza posted the “I love you” comment on his wall from Saba’s account without even telling Qamar.

    Saba said that she never felt the need to give justifications to anyone because she knew that there was nothing between them.

    Kinza Hashmi chose Ranjha Ranjha Kardi actor Imran Ashraf over Thora Sa Haq actor, Imran Abbas on a chat show.

    The Gul-o-Gulzaar actress recently appeared on the Mazedaar Show hosted by Faizan Sheikh and Aadi Adeal, Faizan asked her to choose between Imran Abbas and Imran Ashraf and she said: “Imran Abbas is a very good human being but I will choose Imran Ashraf.” She gave a reason for her answer, claiming that Imran Ashraf is her friend.

    She also shared her views on the institution of marriage that marriage is not the only purpose of life.

    The 27-year-old actress delving into details about tying the knot was quick to call marrying just a chapter in life on the show.

    “Marriage is just a part of life,” Hashmi said when asked about her opinion. “It’s not the sole purpose of our lives.

    “Get married when you feel that you need a life partner and you actually want someone in your life,” she added.

    Aadi also asked her preference on being married and being single. Kinza said that she prefers to be single than being married.
