    Video: Aima Baig patiently hits back at an abusive man at her concert in Gujranwala

    Singer Aima Baig, during a concert schooled a man for misbehaving with her, the video has gone viral on social media. A front-row concert attendee misbehaved with the Sajna Door crooner. The singer did not shy away from expressing her anger over the boy.

    “Go at the back,” said the Do Bol diva said to him angrily.

    “If you guys misbehave, I’ll go back…”

    “Because of one person like him, everything gets ruined for everybody else who’s here to enjoy,” added Aima.

    The audience apologised to Aima, she then continued her singing.

    Earlier, star singer Atif Aslam left a concert midway to protect female participants of his audience.

    Popular Indian singer Arijit Singh performed at a concert in Dubai Abu Dhabi recently. During the concert the Channa Mereya singer took out the time to praise Pakistani singers. “I have a question. It’s a wrong question, a controversial question. But still I want to ask it because I don’t give a d**n.”

    The musician continued, “I don’t follow news but tell me one thing, has music from Pakistan been banned in India?”

    “Is it still banned or has the ban been lifted?” asked the trending crooner, inviting a cheer from the crowd. He then went on to admire Pakistani singers.

    “Atif Aslam is one of my favourites and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shafqat Amanat Ali,” said the Tum Hi Ho singer.

    He went on to sing Atif Aslam’s song Pehli Nazar Mein from Race.

    Following the Pulwama attack in 2019 Pakistani artists were banned from working in India.

    Pakistan’s pop singer Ali Azmat recently appeared on Ahmad Pansota’s show and talked about Pakistani Music and Arts. He also talked about the veteran singer Noor Jehan, a musical legend who is celebrated transnationally.

    While Talking about the music industry of Pakistan’s transition over the years, the Jazba Junoon singer mentioned: “In my childhood, Noor Jehan used to sing on a show draped in Saari with big earrings and extra makeup on. We used to hate that woman.”

    Passing ageist comments, he said: “Looked like a meatball, she was an old age woman at that time and we used to think that it’s not necessary for us to watch it.”

    Noor Jehan’s grandson Ahmed Ali Butt also reacted to singer’s remarks about his grandmother.

    Taking to Instagram, the Parey Hut Love actor shared a lovely throwback photo of Noor Jehan and responded to Ali Azmat’s comments, saying his recent remarks were just in ‘bad taste’ especially when that person is no longer alive.

    He wrote “My Late Grandmother Madam Noor Jehan ‘Is’ the greatest artist of the subcontinent and that’s a fact.

    “I have always respected Ali Azmat as an artist and as a friend. He is one of Pakistan’s biggest rock star, his outspoken attitude has always been his trademark but his recent remarks over Noor Jehan, were just in bad taste especially when that person is no longer alive.”

    Meanwhile, Azmat took to Instagram and shared a video in which he said, “My respect, admiration and love for Madam and her family does not need any validation from people who edit old videos to create controversies.”

    Jemima Goldsmith has shared a video of live performance by veteran singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. She also shared a picture with the Ishqiya crooner.

    “What a treat. On set today- An actual live performance by the great Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Sahib,” she wrote in her Instagram post.

    Earlier, the Meray Paas Tum Ho singer performed in London’s Wembley Stadium and received an overwhelming response from the South Asian community. The tickets to his show sold out soon after the COVID-19 restrictions were lifted after two years.

    Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London, thanked Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and called him a “living legend” for bringing together four generations of South Asians who love Urdu music and poetry.

    In the video, the Aaqa singer can be seen bending to touch Manchala singer’s feet, while he quickly stops her and the two share a warm hug.

    The video went viral in minutes and people could not stop praising the level of respect the two veterans were giving to each other.

    Singer Asim Azhar clapped back at a troll on Twitter for leaving a classist comment under his pictorial tweet. The Tera Woh Pyar singer replied the netizen in a sarcastic manner.

    Asim posted two photos of him on his Twitter handle, under which a user left a comment saying, “Bhai ye rs 800 me shirt li na apne?” (Have you bought this shirt in Rupees 800?)

    To which the Tum Tum crooner replied: “Haha actually asal mai meri ama ne khareedi mere liye. 300 rps ki ghar ke paas local shop se.”

    In a separate tweet Asim jokingly said, “Jis jis ko dukaan wala 300 se mehngi day raha hai usko meri tweet dikha dena.”

    Asim was recently seen spotting this look with his rumoured fiancée Meerub Ali in Lahore.
