    Yasir Hussain has marriage advice for his followers

    After a whirlwind romance, a very public engagement and a low-key mayun and mehndi, Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain tied the knot in a beautiful afternoon wedding amidst their closest friends and family. Yasir gave his bride 4 tolas (10 grams) of gold as haq mehr.

    Following the wedding celebrations, Yasir took to Instagram to advise his followers to keep their weddings simple and easy.

    “Ladies and Gentlemen,” wrote Yasir, “Marriage isn’t as hard as we’ve made it out to be.”

    Sharing his own experience, Yasir elaborated, “I had originally planned to have my wedding at home but due to lack of space, I had to shift the venue. The two of us did not give each others families any unnecessary gifts. There was no dowry or bari (gift from the groom’s side to bride). We did not waste money on extra jewellery. The nikkah khwan (wedding officiant) was paid Rs 8000 while the food was according to the number of guests.”

    “This is all that a wedding is – take it easy on your family and make weddings simple,” he asserted.

    Yasir also expressed his joy on his marriage saying, ” I never knew that one signature would make my life so beautiful.”

    Meanwhile, following the nikkah, Iqra took Yasir’s last name, changing her name from Iqra Aziz to Iqra Aziz Hussain.

    The couple will be hosting their valima today (Monday).

    Hassan Ali’s wedding festivities continue in Pakistan

    After a grand wedding in Dubai, Hassan Ali is now celebrating his wedding in his hometown, Gujranwala.

    Pictures from the wedding festivities are limited as Samiya shared only a few on her Insta-stories.

    The bride glowed in a cream outfit.

    Further details about the event have not been revealed.

    Meanwhile, Hassan is making sure that Samiya gets to see the most of Pakistan on her first trip to the country. Samiya hails from India. The two have been sharing pictures of themselves at all the popular tourist destinations in Islamabad and needless to say, the pictures are supercute.

    Danish woman comes to Pakistan to marry her love after his visa gets rejected

    Who says true love does not exist? This love story of a Danish woman and a Pakistani man will be the sweetest thing you will see today on the internet. 

    A woman from Denmark, traveled all the way to Pakistan to marry her love who was denied a Danish visa.

    Greta and her parents came to Pakistan where she married Shahzeb. “I saw him for the first time at a coffee shop in Malaysia,” she said and thought that he was very handsome”.

    “Pakistan gave us such a warm welcome. Shahzeb’s family members welcomed us with rose petals when we arrived and it was so beautiful. Nothing like that ever happens in Denmark. Pakistan’s culture is very beautiful, but people don’t really know anything about Pakistan and only read negative things about it. People must visit this beautiful country,” she urged.

    Later, her parents shared the couple’s struggle with a radio station, who then released a song, titled Blacklisted Love, to tell the people their love story.

    The cricket commentator entered on the Pakistan Super League Anthem Seeti Baje Gee. As she entered amid bats and her close ones, fast bowler Mohammad Amir and his daughter bowled to Zainab who hit back with her bat.

    Zainab looked breathtaking in a deep pink outfit by Rano’s Heirlooms and makeup by Zara Gul.

    As they say, “Happy brides are the prettiest.”

    Meanwhile, Mohammad Amir, who is a close friend of the journalist, also shared a picture of himself from the event.

    Zainab, who is also the daughter of PTI MNA Andleeb Abbas tied the knot in an intimate Nikkah last Sunday. Her husband Hamza Kardar is the son of the former finance finance minister and former governor of State Bank of Pakistan, Shahid Hafeez Kardar and the grandson of the renowned cricketer Abdul Hafeez Kardar.

    Pictures of her from her mayun also went viral on social media.

    Sports presenter and journalist Zainab Abbas tied the knot in a beautiful and intimate afternoon wedding in Lahore.

    Zainab and her husband, Hamza Kardar looked regal in complimenting white and bronze outfits.
