    Actor Farhan Malhi has updated his fans about his ailing health and his family’s terrible state due to Covid’19 woes.

    Taking to Instagram stories, the Uraan star wrote: “I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news couple of days ago I lost a lot of blood due to severe stomach infection that I passed away in washroom and found that i passed out in washroom and found myself all covered in blood with so many physical injuries.”

    He also shared that he was later admitted in an emergency ward and got to know about his family that they are suffering with Covid-19.

    “It is indeed devastating and very hard time to endure for me, my family, I can’t explain in words but we are desperately in need of your prayers. I have just rushed back to Lahore and praying that Allah help us and all those who are feeling sick and helpless.”

    In another Instagram story, he updated his fans about his grand mother and parents’ health.

    Fellow transnational celebrities sent best wishes for him and his family.

    Parents dump daughter on deserted island to ‘tame’ her

    A “rebellious” teenager was dumped on a desert island by her parents in the hope that she’d grow up.

    As per reports, the 13-year-old was saved from the empty piece of land in Shandong, China after flagging down some fisherman.

    She had been taken to the deserted place by her parents, who were tired of her bad behaviour.

    They said that they wanted to teach the girl a lesson about hardship and adversity after she was dropped out of school.

    The island is located one kilometre off the coast of Rushan City and has been deserted for many years. It has no running water or electricity.

  • Man in Muzaffargarh punished for evicting, beating parents

    A man has been punished under Parents Protection Ordinance, 2021, Geo News has reported. The man was sentenced to one month in jail with a fine of Rs50,000 for maltreating his parents.

    He is the first person to be punished under the new law. According to details, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muzaffargarh Amjad Shoaib Khan took action after a complaint was filed by the parents of the accused for beating and evicting them from their home last year.

    “A year ago, Mukhtar forced us to leave home and since then we have been managing by doing domestic work at people’s homes,” said Ghulam Fatima in the complaint.

    DC summoned both the parties at his office to resolve the matter but the parents refused to forgive the son after which the DC took action against him under the law.

    “The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has provided a credible protection shield to elderly parents by virtue of this law,” said PTI MPA Sardar Abdul Hayee Khan Dasti.
