    Pakistani actor Ahmed Akbar is being showered with love and applause after his exceptional acting skills in ongoing drama Parizaad. The actor recently turned to his Instagram to share a photo from a chips pack by a local manufacturer.

    Ya Allah tera shukar bas ab naswar bhi (Thanks to Almighty Allah! Now we need Naswaar), he hilariously captioned alongside his post.

    Parizaad is a story of a boy born in an underprivileged family. The drama also features Mashaal Khan, Ushna Shah, Saboor Aly, Yumna Zaidi and more.

    Actor Adeel Afzal aka Nasaaz from Parizaad has also grabbed attention after his phenomenal acting in the drama. While talking about Ahmad, he shared how he helped him during the shoot to portray his character.

    Recently, Indian designer Manish Malhotra used the OST of the hit drama for his promotional video proving that Parizaad is not only loved in Pakistan but has a strong following across the border as well.

    Now multiple Bollywood actors including Vikram Kapadia of Bazaar fame, Darshan Jariwala of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani fame and Namit Das of Wake Up Sid fame indulged in an online chat about the drama, when the Kapoor & Sons star posted an appreciation note for the drama and it’s star Ahmed Ali Akbar.

    The feature gave credit to Waqar Ali, the song’s composer.

    The story has been penned by Hashim Nadeem and is based on his novel by the same name.

    Apart from the stellar performances and great narrative, the OST in itself has a separate fanbase; it is sung in Asrar’s powerful voice which gives more depth to the heartbreaking lyrics.

    Actor Adeel Afzal aka Nasaaz from Parizaad has grabbed attention after his exceptional acting in the drama. While talking about Ahmad Ali Akbar, he shared how he helped him during the shoot to portray his character.

    The multi-talented and versatile Adeel recently appeared in an interview with ‘Fuchsia Magazine’. Adeel while sharing his journey from the drama serial Parizaad, mentioned that, “During Covid times, I got a call from Zahid, who works for HUM TV. Zahid said that we are working on a script and we have a character for you, will you be able to play this character? I agreed because I had nothing to do at that time. After six months he called me and asked me to come on the set for the shooting of Parizaad, without giving any audition.”

    “I enjoyed portraying the role of Nasaaz, because it was quite similar to my own personality and some of the people around me. I was overwhelmed by the response audience gave. The first day at the set was quite tough, in fact I was a bit nervous because of the new people around me,” added Adeel Afzal.

    Adeel further said that “Ahmed Ali Akbar has played an important role in highlighting my character. He has always been there for me during my scenes. Before shooting Ahmed came to me and helped me out with my script. His acting and support helped me to portray Nasaaz’s character the way I did.”

    Social media users are praising a scene from the latest episode of Parizaad, for sensitively portraying a queer character.

    In the latest episode of the show, the police are searching for Parizaad (Ahmed Ali Akbar) and they finally capture him from Behroze Karim’s house.

    Parizaad in the middle of the night, risks his life to go and meet Bubbly’s (Saboor Aly) parents. Bubbly is his friend who wants to be treated like a man and has run away from home. He luckily dodges the police and goes to Bubbly’s parent’s house to convince them to accept Bubbly who is now Dilawar. The scene where both the parents come to meet Bubbly and end up accepting Bubbly as Dilawar is quite emotional. Some Netizens who relate themselves to the character, praised the drama for showing it so sensitively.

    A-list actors Imran Abbas and Zahid Ahmed have praised Ahmed Ali Akbar’s performance in his on-going serial Parizaad.

    The Koi Chand Rakh star recently posted his thoughts on the drama serial Parizaad, which has been receiving acclaim from audiences and celebrities alike. It is based on Hashim Nadeem’s novel of the same name and follows the story of a neglected man with low self-esteem who sets out to prove himself. The Ehd-e-Wafa actor is playing the lead and has been receiving positive reviews for his performance.

    Parizaad is certainly the best serial I have seen in recent times with unconventional, strong script, best direction, incredible acting of each and everyone, especially Ahmed Ali, and superb production,” Imran wrote, calling the project a lesson to learn from for those who are looking to experiment with different story lines and taking creative risks.

    The Laal Kabootar hero turned to his Instagram stories and thanked Imran for “enjoying it.”

    Drama serial Parizaad gets a release date

    Parizaad features an ensemble cast of Yumna Zaidi, Ushna Shah, Urwa Hocane, Nauman Ijaz, Mashal Khan, Leyla Zuberi and others. The drama premiered on July 10 and 12 episodes have aired on HUM TV so far.
