    The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has allegedly said that former spymaster General Faiz Hameed was removed as the head of the Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) in 2021 on the demand of former Pakistan Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.

    Speaking to journalists at Adiala jail, Khan said, “After America withdrew from Afghanistan in August, the PTI-led government started negotiations with the Afghan Taliban in September to terminate Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The Afghan government was ready to cooperate with the government, and General Faiz also briefed the Opposition. But now the incumbent government is blaming PTI of terrorism.”

    He added, “In the PTI-led government, Intelligence agencies were busy stopping the terrorists, but now they are after the PTI leadership, which is increasing hate.”

    He remarked, “As soon as the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa retires, four constituencies will open, which will force the incumbent government to fall.”

    Responding to the PTI rally scheduled for September 8, he stated, “The rally will take place in Islamabad on September 8, and the whole nation must join it.”

    Foreign Office responds to arrest of ex-PTI MNA in Saudi Arabia

    Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has stated that citizens must follow the rules of the country they visit, following the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ex-Member of National Assembly (MNA) Faheem Khan in Saudi Arabia.

    When a journalist asked whether Saudi Arabia had released Khan, she responded, “You are a journalist; confirm his arrest or release.”

    Earlier, PTI revealed that Saudi Arabia had arrested their former MNA. PTI Karachi alleged that the Pakistani incumbent government was involved in his arrest.

    Some claims suggest that Khan was filming a video near the Holy Kaaba on May 9, which may have led to his arrest.

    Sindh PTI President Haleem Adil Sheikh said the party is constantly in contact with Khan’s family in efforts to secure his release.

    In the latest development of the Sania Zehra murder case, Federal Minister for Law, Azam Nazeer Tarar, has said that the case is pending and the evidence process has been completed.

    Talking to the the Senate Functional Committee for Human Rights in Multan, he said that in our country, an autopsy is rarely carried out “Former Prime Minister (PM) Benazir Bhutto’s autopsy was also not allowed.”

    He added, “Thankfully, evidence has been collected in the Sania Zehra murder case, and further discourse could affect it.”

    He then claimed that he knows his society and remarked, “We live in Pakistan, not Norway.”

    “We want everything like the West but do not want to control the population as it has been controlled in the West,” he concluded.

    Captain Safdar urges Nawaz Sharif to hold Panama case judges accountable

    Captain Muhammad Safdar Awan has urged former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif to hold former Chief Justice Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, and Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan accountable for the unlawful verdict in the Panama case, he said in a gathering with locals.

    He said, “If Nawaz Sharif doesn’t hold Panama judges accountable, the public will never forgive him.”

    He added, “The public wants Panama bench judges in handcuffs along with former CJP Saqib Nisar.”
    He requested his father-in-law to arrest former Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and charge five Panama judges with impunity.

    He further said, “Pakistan would have become an Asian tiger if Panama judges did not remove Nawaz.”

    Earlier, the apex court of Pakistan declared former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif guilty in the Panama case verdict and sentenced ten years imprisonment with a 10.6 million dollar fine.

    Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi has claimed that extensive operations are not required to fight against militants and that they can be dealt with by a Station House Officer (SHO).

    Later, however, when a journalist questioned his statement, he clarified that it was “symbolic.

    Responding to the inquiry of militants challenging the state, Naqvi said, “Militants assaulted secretly and conspiringly.”

    He asserted that there is no science required to counter these militants; “they are terrorists, and our civil armed forces, armed forces, and police know how to combat them”.

    “Balochistan incident is unbearable, and our hearts are aggrieved,” he added.

    Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti remarked, “Terrorists find an inch of the road out of four thousand kilometre road and kill innocents.”

    “Militants attack the softest target after finding the weakest place,” he stated.

    Special Court of Lahore blocks Moonis Elahi’s CNIC, passport

    A special central court of Lahore has ordered the blocking of former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab’s Chaudhary Parvez Elahi son Moonis Elahi’s Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) and passport, along with those of six other suspects, in an alleged money laundering case.

    The court, presided over by judge Tanveer Ahmed Shaikh, also directed that the names of other proclaimed offenders (POs), including Farasat Ali Chatha, Imtiaz Ali Shah, Amir Sohail, and Aamir Fayyaz, be included in the ECL.

    The court also ordered freezing Moonis’ bank account and assets, including 26 kanal acres in Kasur, a plot, and a house in Gulberg, Lahore.

    The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) alleged that Parvez Elahi’s son and daughter-in-law committed money laundering through a peon, Qaiser Iqbal Bhatti, an employee of the Punjab Assembly.

    FIA stated that the suspects were arrested after an unexplained transaction of millions of rupees in Bhatti and Mooni’s accounts.

    Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has stated that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) postponed its August 22 rally in Islamabad due to “fear of rejection” by the people.

    Khawaja Asif claimed that former Prime Minister Imran Khan would not have cancelled the rally if it was going to be successful. And to protect the image of its popularity, PTI is building a “false narrative.” 

    Khawaja Asif pointed out apparent differences between the PTI leadership regarding the August 22 rally and said that they have no “real intention” of getting Imran Khan freed from jail.

    Responding to Imran’s meeting with Azam Swati, Khawaja said, “Meetings or conversations in jail cannot remain a secret; your every movement is recorded.”

    He called Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Ali Amin Gandapur “Buzdar 2” and remarked, “A blame game is underway in the PTI-led province as his [Gandapur] cabinet members are calling him [a] thief.”

    Founder Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan spoke to journalists at the Adiala jail courtroom about postponing the August 22 rally, saying that after learning of the religious parties’ strike at Islamabad, he rescheduled the rally.

    “I was given information that religious parties are on strike over the matter of Khatam-e-Nabuwat, so there was fear of chaos, upon which I advised the Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan and Azam Swati to cancel the scheduled rally.”

    He added, “I would never want chaos in the country.”

    “The whole party is in rage and grief over the postponement of the rally”, Imran Khan said.

    “If the rally took place, there were concerns that another May 9 case would be imposed on the party, even though a former judicial inquiry has not been completed,” Khan concluded.

    Aleema Khan has stated that her brother, former Prime Minister (PM) Pakistan Imran Khan, has advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) followers to attend a rally in Islamabad on September 8 whatever may come up.

    She said, “Imran Khan is very angry, he has advised his followers that if anybody said the rally got cancelled, referring to me, just don’t listen to him.”

    She added, “Having a No Objection Certificate (NOC), PTI has the legal and constitutional right to stage a rally.”

    “Remove every obstacle that halted PTI followers from reaching Islamabad,” Aleema concluded.

    Islamabad High Court allows journalists to cover Imran Khan’s trial

    Hearing a petition challenging the ban on the media coverage of Imran Khan’s trial in jail, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) criticised prison administration for not letting journalists cover the court trial.

    A petition said that despite following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), the jail administration barred them from covering the court trial.

    IHC Justice Mian Gul Hassan stated that trial court judges have the authority to regulate media instead of jail administration.

    Justice Hassan advised the jail administration to allow seven journalists appointed by the IHC to cover the court trial of former Prime Minister Pakistan Imran Khan.

    The court also advised journalists not to interview Imran Khan during court proceedings in jail.
