Royal family skips invitation to Harry, Meghan’s daughter’s christening

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter Lilibet has been christened last Friday in an intimate gathering of around 20 to 30 guests. However, none of Harry’s royal family were present, despite being invited.

A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed that Lilibet Diana was christened last week on Friday by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, Reverend John Taylor.

Among the attendees were Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, Lilibet’s godfather, Tyler Perry, and another unnamed godmother.

Since the release of Prince Harry’s controversial biography ‘Spare’, there have been extensive reports of the divide between the younger son of King Charles and royal family members, who had also recently asked Harry and Meghan to leave Frogmore Cottage, where the family had stayed during their trips to Britain.

British media has reported that the King will offer them an apartment at Buckingham Palace instead.

When contacted by media outlets, the Palace did not comment on “personal invitations” as is routine.

Harry and Meghan were officially invited to King Charles’ coronation, scheduled to take place in May. The Duke and Duchess are yet to confirm if they will attend what is perhaps the most important day in Charles life.

Prince Harry breaks silence about the deleted content from his tell-all memoir

On Tuesday, 10 January 2023 Prince Harry finally released his much-talked-about tell-all memoir titled Spare. The memoir not only offers details about the Duke of Sussex’s childhood, but it also includes vivid and controversial details about his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales and her death, his relationship with his brother, Prince William, and his father, King Charles III. In fact, the memoir also makes serious revelations about his controversial courtship and marriage to the American actress Meghan Markle and inside details on how and why the royal couple stepped back from their royal roles.

In a recent interview with Telegraph, Prince Harry made the revelation that while the released version of his book is just 416 pages long, he along with his ghost-writer J. R. Moehringer penned an initial draft for Spare that was 800 pages long. Prince Harry revealed that he cut plenty of content from his recently released memoir Spare that he could have easily released as a whole other book.

In the interview, the royal actually disclosed that while he could have shared so much more, plenty of stories in the first draft were actually to provide a backstory for the writer and not intended for publication. In fact, Prince Harry went ahead and said that he made the cuts according to “the scale of things (he) I could include for (his) family members.”

He explained, “Look, anything I’m going to include about any of my family members, I’m going to get trashed for. I knew that walking into it. But it’s impossible to tell my story without them in it, because they play such a crucial part in it.”

Prince Harry added, “But there are some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, and to some extent between me and my father, that I just don’t want the world to know. Because I don’t think they would ever forgive me.”

The Duke of Sussex explained, “Now you could argue that some of the stuff I’ve put in there, well, they will never forgive me anyway. But the way I see it is, I’m willing to forgive you for everything you’ve done, and I wish you’d actually sat down with me, properly, and instead of saying I’m delusional and paranoid, actually sit down and have a proper conversation about this, because what I’d really like is some accountability and an apology to my wife.”

French publisher of Harry memoir prints 130,000 new copies

However, regardless of plenty of cuts, the book holds all the major details about the British royal family from Prince Harry’s own point of view which will definitely be a new perspective. Reportedly, the book spills details on how Prince Harry admits he actually experimented with cocaine, cannabis, and magic mushrooms. Other revelations in the book include, how he lost his virginity, how he killed over 20 people, how he discovered Queen Elizabeth’s demise from the BBC, and how he was pretty uncomfortable when he saw one of Meghan’s “love-making scenes” among several other things. Harry’s memoir titled Spare was officially released on January 10th, 2023, and has been in the tabloids ever since.

He also went on to add, “Now James has had a chequered past himself, he’s had a few businesses that haven’t taken off, but “He’s been very open about his own personal struggles, he got married this year, and as you can see, he has a great affection for animals who he says do a lot to help and assist people with mental health issues.”

“But it’s James apparently who Kate came to in these troubled times because she liked his calm and relaxing influence, and of course his very sage advice.”

“That’s not to say of course, she didn’t want to turn to her husband, Prince William, but she knew that he had already had quite a lot on his plate and didn’t want to burden him with more. He’s marched forward.”

“Kate is, let me tell you, a very forgiving person. If anything, she could be the person that could bring the whole family back together.”

In a recent cover story for People magazine, a source close to the family said “it demonstrates Catherine is ready to shift into a Queen supporting her husband when the time comes”.

  • ‘It’s difficult to keep a straight face’: Prince William gets candid about Christmas morning at church

Prince William spoke about his childhood memories as he reflected on his life for the upcoming Christmas church visits.

The prince also shared his cherishing memories of Christmas morning during his interaction on the Apple Fitness + podcast Time to walk.

He said, “What’s very good about it is that we sit opposite each other as a family, and growing up, having my cousins sit opposite me has always been quite difficult to keep a straight face at times.”

“I have had the giggles many, many times in the service. Luckily, no one’s filming it. So you can get away with it, and on Christmas Day, it’s fun to have a giggle and enjoy yourself.”

The prince also recalled moments from his childhood where he’d make the walk from the church to the main house and added, “I have strong memories of walking down here, and my grandfather, he used to walk so fast that there’d be huge gaps and spaces between all of us walking down, and there’d be us at the back with little legs trying to keep up.”

“You know, I think, over time, you start to feel quite attached to those moments and those memories before,” said Prince William.

  • Prince William and Kate Middleton set to leave London

Prince William and Kate Middleton set to leave London

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly planning to leave London and set up camp near Windsor Castle.

According to a Royal Expert, Katie Nicholl “Neither William nor Kate have ever been London people and have never enjoyed the chaos of the city.”

“Whilst their home at Kensington Palace is highly secure, they have often felt overlooked and that they lacked privacy. The older their children get, the more apparent this has become,” she added.

If the Duke and Duchess relocate they would be just a few minutes drive away from the Queen. Nicholl, in a video stated, “Windsor seems like the ideal situation. The castle is huge in itself and is the Queen’s permanent residence now but there are other housing options for them.”

Bringing their kids to school is also pretty difficult because of the busy London roads and moving to Windsor can make the family’s lives easier.

According to her, everything is on the table and up for discussion.

Currently, the royal pair reside in Anmer Hall, Norfolk where they will spent England’s third lockdown this winter.

In a newly emerged clip shared by the U.K’s DailyMail on Wednesday, the Baywatch actress appeared to ignore the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as they took their seats to a roaring applause from the crowd for the Women’s Singles Final on Saturday.

Instead of joining in, the desi girl seemingly fiddled with her scarf. At one point, the Quantico star appeared to look away as the couple mingled with those in attendance.

The alleged snub made its way to Twitter, where many believed the star was supporting her friend Meghan Markle Indirectly. In March, the Duchess of Sussex, 39, told Oprah Winfrey that the Duchess of Cambridge, 39, made her cry days before she married William’s younger brother Prince Harry in May 2018.

Some pointed out that the clip is similar to the unearthed video footage from 2018 that showed William, 39, suddenly preoccupied with his own scarf while ignoring Markle, who attempted to speak with her brother-in-law. In that clip, the duke repeatedly fiddled with his attire, ignoring Markle altogether.

“She got him!” one person tweeted about Chopra. “The revenge of a BFF.”
