    PSL final: Islamabad United defeats Multan Sultans by two wickets after a thriller match

    In the final match of Pakistan Super League 9, Islamabad United defeats Multan Sultans by two wickets after a thriller match in national stadium Karachi.

    Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bat against Islamabad United.

    Playing first Multan scored 159 for the loss of 9 wicket in alloted 20 overs. From Multan Sultans, Muhammad Rizwan scored 26 runs, Usman Khan scored 57 and Iftikhar Ahmed scored 32 runs.

    Apart from this Khushdil Shah scored 11 runs, while seven of their batter could not even enter in double digit.

    From Islamabad United, Imad Wasim took five wicket while Shadab Khan took 3 wickets.

    Chasing the target of 160, Islamabad United was in trouble from the start of their inning as the lost their first three wicket for 55 runs. But Azam Khan and Martin Guptil scored a partnership of 47 runs.

    From Islamabad, Martin Guptil scored 50 runs, Azam Khan 30, Imad Wasim 19, Naseem Shah 17 and Colin Munro scored 17 runs.

    In the 2nd eliminator of Pakistan Super League 9, Islamabad United defeats Peshawar Zalmi by 5 wickets in National Stadium Karachi.

    Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan won the toss and decides to bowl first.

    Playing first Peshawar Zalmi scored 185 runs for the loss of five wicket in allotted 20 overs. Peshawar Zalmi openers took very good start putting 72 runs on the board for the first wicket partnership. Saim Ayub scored 73 runs, Captain Babar Azam scored 25, Muhammad Haris 40, Tom Kohler Cadmore 18 and Aamir Jamal remained unbeaten with 17 runs.

    From Islamabad United side, Naseem Shah took three wickets while Shadab Khan and Obed McCoy took one wicket each.

    Chasing the target of 186 runs, Islamabad took very poor start. Saim Ayub dismissed Alex Hales in the first over and Salman Ali Agha in third over on just 5 runs. Islamabad lost their 5 wickets for 91 runs but Imad Wasim and Haider Ali took the charge scoring 59 and 52 runs respectively.

    Islamabad United chase down the target in 19 overs.

    From Peshawar Zalmi Saim Ayub took two while Luke Wood, Mehran Mumtaz and Khurram Shehzad took one wicket each.

    Islamabad will face Multan Sultans in final on March 18.

    In the Qualifier of Pakistan Super League 9, Multan Sultans defeats Peshawar Zalmi by 7 wicket in National Stadium Karachi. Multan Sultans have also qualified for the PSL finals for fourth consecutive time.

    Peshawar Zalmi start was not good, Saim Ayub scored only one run and was dismissed by David Willey in first over. After that Muhammad Haris and Babar Azam scored a partnership of 47 runs but Muhammad Ali dismissed Haris on 22 runs. Apart from this Zalmi skipper Babar Azam scored 46 runs, Tom Kohler Cadmore scored 24, Rovman Powell scored 12 while Paul Wallter and Luke Wood scored 14 runs each.

    From Multan Sultans Usama Mir and Chris Jordan took two wickets each, David Willy, Muhammad Ali and Abbas Afridi also took one wicket each.

    Chasing the target of 147, Sultans opener took a very good start by putting 61 runs on the board for first wicket. Multan lost their first wicket as Muhammad Rizwan was dismissed by Mehran Mumtaz on 15 runs. Apart from this Yasir Khan scored 54 runs, Usman Khan 36, Iftikhar Ahmed 22 and Johnson Charles scored 11 runs.

    From Zalmi Mehran Mumtaz, Aamir Jamal and Salman Irshad took one wicket each.

    In the 27th match of Pakistan Super League 9, Islamabad United defeats Multan Sultans by 3 wickets in a nail biting match in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

    Islam United captain Shadab Khan won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bat.

    Yasir Khan and Mohammad Rizwan opened the innings for Multan Sultans. Yasir Khan scored 33 off 16 balls. Muhammad Rizwan also managed to score 20 runs, but Usman Khan once again showed his brilliant batting and remained not out after scoring 100 runs in 50 balls with the help of15 fours and 3 sixes.

    Faheem Ashraf took two wickets and Hunain Shah took one wicket for Islamabad.

    Chasing the target of 229, Islamabad opener Colin Munro scored 84 rusn with the help of 9 fours and 5 sixes, Captain Shadab Khan scored 54 runs and Haider Ali scored 19 runs.

    Faheem Asharf and Imad Waism scored important knocks of 23 and 29 respectively. On last two balls, Islamabad needed 7 runs, Imad Wasim hit first six and then a four to led the team to victory.

    From Multan Sultan Abbas Afridi took 3 while Muhammad Ali took 2 wickets.

    PSL9: Quetta Gladiators defeats Islamabad United by 3 wickets

    In the eighth match of the HBL Pakistan Super League season 9, Quetta Gladiators easily defeated Islamabad United by 3 wickets and achieved their third consecutive victory.

    Quetta Gladiators captain Riley Rossow won the toss and invited Islamabad United to bat first.

    Islamabad United scored 138 runs for 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, Agha Salman scored 33 runs, Faheem Ashraf, Colin Munro scored 20 runs each and Jordan Kaz scored 19 runs.

    Apart from this, Imad Wasim scored 9, Shadab Khan 2 and Azam Khan scored 1 run.

    On behalf of Quetta Gladiators, Muhammad Wasim and Abrar Ahmed took 3, 3 wickets, Aqeel Hussain took 2 wickets and Muhammad Hasnain took one wicket.

    The Gladiators team easily achieved the target of 139 in the 19th over for the loss of 7 wickets. Jason Roy 37 and Riley Rossow played an innings of 34 runs. Sherfane Rutherford scored 29 while Muhammad Amir scored 11 runs.
