Prince William and Kate Middleton set to leave London

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly planning to leave London and set up camp near Windsor Castle.

According to a Royal Expert, Katie Nicholl “Neither William nor Kate have ever been London people and have never enjoyed the chaos of the city.”

“Whilst their home at Kensington Palace is highly secure, they have often felt overlooked and that they lacked privacy. The older their children get, the more apparent this has become,” she added.

If the Duke and Duchess relocate they would be just a few minutes drive away from the Queen. Nicholl, in a video stated, “Windsor seems like the ideal situation. The castle is huge in itself and is the Queen’s permanent residence now but there are other housing options for them.”

Bringing their kids to school is also pretty difficult because of the busy London roads and moving to Windsor can make the family’s lives easier.

According to her, everything is on the table and up for discussion.

Currently, the royal pair reside in Anmer Hall, Norfolk where they will spent England’s third lockdown this winter.

Seven Royal scandals that will shock you to the core

The British Royal Family never fails to astonish or amuse the world by being the talk of the town – whether it is the latest Martin Bashir BBC scandal or Prince Harry’s shocking confessions on The Me You Can’t See. Interestingly, these are not the only scandals that have rocked the royal family.

Here’s an exclusive list of a few more Royal scandals, which you may or may not have seen in The Crown:

    1. In 1981, Queen Elizabeth survived an assassination attempt by a ‘mentally disturbed youth’ while touring New Zealand according to Royal historian Ted Powell. The 17-year-old tried to aim a bullet at the Queen while she was exiting the car.

    2. Prince Charles and Diana’s 1988 Canada tour produced quite an international buzz as the couple’s pictures resurfacing on media clearly showed signs of marital tensions. Especially, the picture of Diana alone in Taj Mahal didn’t sit well with Royal fans.

    3. Princess Kate’s light fabric dress got her into trouble during a 2016 Indian tour when the Duchess was photographed with her dress exposing too much of her lower body due to strong winds. Historian Powell believes that Queen Elizabeth got weights sewed in her dress to present “such embarrassments”.

    4. Prince Charles had been physically intimate with a model during his Australian tour of 1979. The bachelor indulged in the intimacy while taking a morning jog near the beach.

    5. Prince Philip told a British student that he might go home ‘slitty eyed’ if he prolonged his Chinese tour in 1986 any longer. The remark was internationally criticised on the grounds of communal insensitivity.

    6. Prince Anne, daughter of Queen Elizabeth, tipped and fell on her official tour to Channel Island in 2007. As reported by Express UK, to an officer’s gesture of help, the Princess replied: “Don’t do that, grabbing me around my .. won’t help.”

    7. The ex-member of the Royal family was photographed playing ‘strip pool’ in Las Vegas while he was on military leave. The Me You Can’t See producer had his hands laden with crown jewels signifying extravagance.

Diana was tricked into giving explosive interview on marriage, reveals inquiry

Journalist Martin Bashir tricked princess Diana into giving an explosive BBC television interview in which she lifted the lid on her troubled marriage to Prince Charles, an independent investigation concluded on Thursday.

Retired senior judge John Dyson said Bashir commissioned faked bank statements that falsely suggested some of Diana’s closest aides were being paid by the security services to keep tabs on her.

Bashir then showed them to Diana’s brother Charles Spencer, in a successful bid to convince him to arrange a meeting between himself and Diana and earn her trust.

Dyson said he was “satisfied” that Bashir showed fake bank statements “so as to deceive Earl Spencer and induce him to arrange the meeting with Princess Diana”.

“By behaving as described… Mr Bashir acted inappropriately and in serious breach” of the corporation’s own editorial guidelines on “straight dealing”, Dyson added.

Questions have long been asked about how Bashir convinced Diana to talk on the BBC’s flagship Panorama programme in November 1995, which was watched by a record 22.8 million people and won a string of television awards.

In it, she famously said, “there were three people” in her marriage — her, Charles and his long-time mistress and now wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles — and also admitted adultery.

Diana’s friend, Simone Simmons, told The Sun that the interview had “destroyed her pyschologically” and “made her paranoid”.

Bashir, now 58, was little-known at the time of the interview but went on to have a high-profile career on US television networks, and interviewed stars such as Michael Jackson.

He returned to work for the corporation as religion editor until he stepped down last week, citing ill health, just hours before Dyson’s report was submitted to BBC bosses.

Earlier, a 1996 internal inquiry by future BBC chief Tony Hall and another senior figure, Anne Sloman, cleared Bashir of wrong-doing.

But Dyson called that probe “flawed and woefully ineffective”.

Hall, now chair of the board of trustees at Britain’s National Gallery, admitted that the probe “fell well short of what was required”, and said he was “wrong to give Martin Bashir the benefit of the doubt”.

Meanwhile, BBC director-general Tim Davie said the corporation accepted Dyson’s findings completely and offered a “full and unconditional apology”.

The broadcaster also said it was handing back the awards the programme won for the interview.

Bashir also apologised, saying the faking of the bank statements was “a stupid thing do and was an action I deeply regret”.

But he maintained it had “no bearing whatsoever on the personal choice by Princess Diana to take part”, and he was still “immensely proud” of the interview.

Davie equally said the princess was “keen on the idea of an interview with the BBC”. Her estranged husband had spoken to commercial channel ITV in 1994, and also admitted adultery.

However, he added that “the BBC should have made greater effort to get to the bottom of what happened at the time and been more transparent about what it knew.”

Diana and Charles formally divorced in 1996. She died aged 36 in a high-speed car crash while being chased by paparazzi photographers in Paris the following year. Charles married Camilla in 2005.

Another royal baby on the way as Princess Beatrice announces pregnancy

Princess Beatrice, the granddaughter of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth who married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi last year, is expecting a baby, Buckingham Palace has announced.

The baby, the first for Beatrice, the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, and her property developer husband, is due to be born this autumn.

“The queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news,” the Palace said in a statement.

The princess, the ninth-in-line to the throne, and her husband wed at Windsor Castle in July in a scaled-down private ceremony that took place without the usual pomp and fanfare that royal weddings usually attract because of COVID-19 restrictions.

The queen currently has 10 great grandchildren, with two new royal arrivals this year – Beatrice’s sister Eugenie had her first baby in February and Zara Tindall, the daughter of Princess Anne, gave birth to her third child in March.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are also expecting their second child this year.

The announcement of the pregnancy provides some good for the 95-year-old monarch whose husband of more than seven decades Prince Philip died last month.

In a further blow to the queen, one of two Dorgi puppies she was given by Prince Andrew to cheer her up after Philip fell ill in February died over the weekend.

“The queen is absolutely devastated,” an unnamed royal aide told the Sun newspaper. “Everyone concerned is upset as this comes so soon after she lost her husband.”

  • Harry hints Meghan behind attacks on royal family

Harry hints Meghan behind attacks on royal family

Prince Harry in a recent podcast interview has suggested that Meghan Markle is behind his attacks on the royal family.

“My wife had the most amazing explanation … you don’t need to be a princess, you can create [a] life that will be better than any princess,” Harry told Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert. “And that’s coming from her own lived experience.”

Harry suggested Meghan’s comments completely changed his view of royal life and set him up for the situation he’s in now, publicly criticising his family and lashing out at Prince Charles’ parenting skills.

The younger son of Charles and Princess Diana compared his royal life to The Truman Show, suggesting growing up in palaces, being waited on hand and foot and attending the world’s top schools was “like being an animal at the zoo.”

Harry’s remarks have not gone over well. Many pointed to apparent hypocrisy in the amount of publicity Harry and Meghan have sought since their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, which reportedly left Prince Charles “fuming.“

Prince William and Kate Middleton have set up a YouTube channel in a bid to connect more with their people.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge launched their YouTube channel with a 25-second video of the couple at various destinations, philanthropic events and galas. The video even features a shot of the couple at the Badshahi Masjid in Lahore as well as an inside shot of the rickshaw they took for a dinner in Islamabad.

In the video, William warns a chuckling Kate: “By the way, you have to be careful what you say now because these guys, they’re filming everything.”

    “I know!” she exclaims.

The compilation ends with Kate candidly telling her husband, “You didn’t need to roll your r’s.”

“Do I not?” says William in response.

Fans also catch a glimpse of other members of the royal family including Queen Elizabeth II and William and Kate’s three children: Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis, 3 in the video.

The cover photo of the royal couple’s YouTube channel features a pictures from their visit to Chitral in 2019.

  • Meghan Markle is writing a book on Harry & Archie’s relationship

Meghan Markle is writing a book on Harry & Archie’s relationship

Meghan Markle is about to become a published author. The Duchess of Sussex on Tuesday announced that she will be publishing a children’s book next month titled The Bench about the relationship between a father and son based on her husband Prince Harry and the couple’s child Archie. It will highlight family dynamics between a father and son through the eyes of a mother.

The book is the latest venture by Meghan and Harry, Queen Elizabeth’s grandson, since they stepped down from royal duties and moved to Los Angeles last year with Archie, who celebrates his second birthday later this week.

Illustrated by artist Christian Robinson, The Bench will hit shelves on June 8, with Meghan narrating an audiobook version, publisher Random House Children’s Books said.

The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father’s Day, the month after Archie was born. That poem became this story,” the duchess said in a statement. “My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the makeup, as much as it does with mine.”

The cover art features a bench beneath a large tress with chickens all around. Robinson explains the concept behind it by describing Meghan as “a mother, wife, feminist, and activist” who “currently resides in her home state of California with her family, two dogs, and a growing flock of rescue chickens.”

An illustration also features a father wearing a military uniform which is Meghan’s way of honouring Harry’s tenure as a captain in the British Army.

Another illustration showcases a father sitting with his son under a tree.

Meanwhile, Meghan, who is pregnant with the couple’s second child, is not the first royal to venture into the world of children’s literature.

Heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles wrote The Old Man of Lochnagar based on stories he used to tell his young brothers, while Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has also penned a number of children’s stories.

Meghan and Harry have rarely been out of the media spotlight since they gave an explosive interview to Oprah Winfrey in February, accusing one unnamed royal of making a racist remark and ignoring her pleas for help when she felt suicidal.

Harry returned to Britain for the first time since that interview for the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip last month.

Queen Elizabeth’s former rare Bentley on sale for $250,000

If you’re a fan of the royal family, then you now have a chance to own a car once owned by the head monarch Queen Elizabeth.

According to a report in NY Post, a rare, deep green Bentley Mulsanne once owned by Queen Elizabeth is about to be put up for auction for $250,000. The car was in the Queen and Buckingham Palace’s possession from 2013 to 2015. It was then decommissioned from royal use.

Interestingly the car has an “impeccable service history” with only 2,000 miles on its odometer.

The car’s listing from Piston Heads reads: “It is with great pleasure that we are able to present to market a very special example of Bentley’s Mulsanne derivative. This Bernato Green motorcar was formerly owned by HM Queen Elizabeth II and was in service with the Royal Household from 2013 – 2015 with its exclusive use being to transport Her Majesty.

“Its Banarto Green exterior paintwork is paired with a Twine Main Hide and complemented further by Burr Walnut Veneers to its trim and also the door panels. This vehicle would make for an exceptional addition to any collection and it is extremely rare to find a car with such provenance and history, especially when related to our longest-reigning monarch,” reads the listing further.

The Mulsanne was looked after exclusively by Jack Barclay Bentley while in the Queen’s service — and was returned to Bentley Motor Cars in 2015.

Prince Harry ‘regretful and embarrassed’ over interview with Oprah Winfrey

Prince Harry is reportedly “embarrassed and regretful” over his and wife Meghan Markle’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The interview plunged the monarchy into its biggest crisis since Princess Diana’s death in 1997.

Duncan Larcombe, author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story, told the UK’s Closer Magazine that Harry is probably feeling “regretful and embarrassed” after disclosing his family issues in front of the whole world. The biographer believes while Meghan seemed “in her element”, Harry “clearly looked numb and torn” upon leaving back for Los Angeles after attending late Prince Philip’s funeral ceremony.

Larcombe is convinced that the 36-year-old Duke of Sussex and his wife may have a problematic marriage in the future because Harry will remain nostalgic about the royal life which he has given up while Meghan will keep enjoying her life in LA which had been her longtime dream.

Duncan justifies Harry’s anger towards the Royal family as his “hot-headedness”.

“Harry was clearly hurt and angry about Meghan’s experience with the royals — and used the interview to get it out,” said Duncan. “But after returning home, I’ve no doubt he’s been feeling embarrassed, regretful and awkward. He’s now facing the consequences. I believe he’ll regret that interview — and maybe his decision to leave the royal family.”

“Coming home has reminded him of everything he’s sacrificed in recent years — and of the recent damage done,” added the author.

When asked what his predictions are about Harry’s future equation with his family, the expert said: “I can’t see how Harry can live this new life and keep things harmonious with his family,” adding that it will be a “lose-lose situation.”

“I just don’t think that Harry will be able to live harmoniously as a part of these two worlds — the royals and the LA showbiz world.”

Duncan warns Harry of embarking on a “very difficult” journey due to his decision of marrying Markle and bidding farewell to his Royal roots.
