    Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s family once again lands in legal trouble. After her husband and businessman Raj Kundra was arrested in the alleged distribution of p*rn films, the actress’ mother Sunanda Shetty has been issued a warrant from a court. Scroll down to know more.

    Metropolitan Magistrate (Andheri court) has issued a bailable warrant against Shilpa’s mother in a case related to alleged non-repayment of a loan of Rs 21 lakh. It was issued after a businessman filed a cheating case against her over non-repayment of the loan amount.

    As per the news agency PTI report, Shilpa Shetty, Shamita Shetty and their mother Sunanda Shetty challenged the summons before the sessions court. While sessions judge AZ Khan stayed the magistrate’s order against Shilpa and Shamita, their mother Sunanda did not get any relief.

    The court also said that Shilpa’s late father Surendra Shetty and Sunanda seemed to be partners in his firm but no documents were submitted to prove that their daughters were partners too and had any concern with the loan.

    Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Tuesday refused to grant exemption from appearance to Sunanda Shetty and issued a bailable warrant against her. Advocate Zain Shroff of Y & A Legal, who represents the plaintiff Parhad Amra, has alleged that Surendra Shetty borrowed money from him in 2015 and it was supposed to be repaid by January 2017, but was never repaid.

    Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty and her entrepreneur mother Sunanda Shetty have been booked in an alleged fraud case in Lucknow, India.

    Two FIRs have been lodged at two different police stations in Lucknow and the police has intensified investigation in both the cases against the Apne actor and her mother.

    A police team from Lucknow is also expected to arrive in Mumbai to questioning Shilpa and Sunanda in the alleged fraud case. The Baazigar diva runs a wellness chain, where her mother is a director and she herself is the chairman of the company.

    It is alleged in the FIRs that the two took millions from two people to open a branch of a wellness centre however, the promise was never fulfilled.

    DCP (East) Sanjeev Suman said that the investigation officer, in this case, will leave for Mumbai to question actress Shilpa and Sunanda. He will examine all the points in this matter.

    Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty took to her social media handle to announce twelfth wedding anniversary with husband Raj Kundra. She expressed her feelings in an extensive note.

    Taking to Instagram on Monday, the Hungama 2 diva posted some priceless pictures from their wedding day and wrote, “This moment and day 12 years ago, we made and continue to fulfil a promise; of sharing the good times & bearing the hard times, of trusting in love & God to show us the way, side by side, day by day.”

    “12 years and not counting… Happy Anniversary, Cookie! Here’s to many more rainbows, laughter, milestones, and our prized possession, our children.”

    This marked the duo’s first wedding anniversary after Raj Kundra was released on bail in pornography case.

    In October 2021, the Baazigar diva shaved her head off partially to fulfill her ‘mannat’ for Raj Kundra’s bail.

    On July 19, Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s entrepreneur husband Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly producing and distributing pornographic films through mobile apps.

    The Mumbai Crime Branch continues to investigate the adult film racket case that has come to the surface. Indian media has reported that the Baazigar diva broke down and shouted at the businessman asking him: “What was the need to do all this, we have everything, what was the need to do all this?” during the raid at their residence.

    The Hungama 2 diva has finally issued an official statement on the on-going controversy on her Instagram handle.

    The Apne star captioned her post as, “Yes! The past few days have been challenging, on every front. There have been a lot of rumours and accusations. A lot of unwarranted aspersions on me cast by the media and (not so) well wishers as well. A lot of trolling/questions posed… not only to me but also to my family.”

    Mumbai Police confirmed that a case was filed in February 2021 and Raj Kundra was the “key conspirator” in the complaint.

    Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty’s entrepreneur husband Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai Police on July 19 for allegedly producing and distributing pornographic films through mobile apps.

    A statement of Mumbai Commission of Police read, according to News18. “There was a case registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in February 2021 about creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this. We have sufficient evidences regarding this. Investigation is in progress please”.
