    FIA arrests gang from Lahore for selling child pornography on dark web

    The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Cell nabbed a gang in Lahore on Friday that was allegedly making money from the “dark web” through child pornography, Muhammad Shehzad reports for The Express Tribune.

    According to the preliminary inquiry, at least 10 people have been sexually exploited. Suspects living in a private housing society situated in Lahore would lure victims through money or other means, rape them and film the entire process.

    According to the FIA, the suspects extorted money from the victims and sexually assaulted them by threatening to go viral with their obscene tapes if they refused.

    The complainant, father of a victim, said that the accused, Arslan Arshad and Ammad Shahzad, used to to sexually assault and videotape children of their neighbourhood without their consent. They would monetise it by uploading it to the internet. He said that his son was also trapped by them. The suspects on February 15 took the victim to the upper portion of his house and sexually assaulted him and also recorded a video.

    After receiving the plea, the FIA initiated an investigation and arrested suspect Abid Ali in the Arifwala tehsil of Pakpattan district.

    Officials also discovered a big amount of films of child pornography on his phone, and the main suspect, Arslan, was seen raping youngsters in the videos.

    FIA Cyber Crime Cell Lahore has registered a case against the accused persons under Section 20, 21 and 22 of The Prevention of Electronic Crime Act (PECA) 2016 and section 109 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

    A 12-year-old boy was raped and tortured after he was abducted from a wedding function in Mastung, Balochistan. He was rescued by the Levies, a law enforcement agency.

    As per details, unidentified men kidnapped the boy from a wedding function. Subsequently, his family filed a case in a nearby police station.

    According to Assistant Commissioner, Farida Tarin, the boy was found unconscious at the crime scene. Levies also arrested a suspect from the scene.

    During the initial investigation, the suspect confessed that he was involved in raping and torturing the teenage boy.

    Farida Tarin also confirmed that raids are being conducted to arrest all perpetrators involved.

    Ghalib Market police in Lahore have lodged a case against social media sensation Nabeel Akram aka Bhola Record under section 376 on the complaint of a victim.

    Shaista Talib, a resident of Lahore, said that Nabeel called her to a private hotel and sexually assaulted her. Further investigations are underway in light of the victim’s statements.

    Bhola Record denied all allegations in a video clip in which he can be seen talking to another person about the incident.

    Akram, who achieved fame through indecent videos with girls in a foreign country, said the whole matter is a failed attempt to defame him.

    Sharing his side of the story, Nabeel said the complainant earlier hurled such allegations about Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid and controversial personality Mufti Qavi.

    He added that he never forced or blackmailed the woman to meet him, she wanted to marry me, he said. ‘Bhola Record’ mentioned that he filmed some videos with her during the stay at the private accommodation facility.

    Lahore police book ‘Bhola Record’ in another 'rape' case

    The case is the second in a row as earlier ‘Bhola Record’ was apprehended by police for raping another girl back in 2018. The complainant, who was a resident of Wazirabad, said Nabeel lured him for a job and sexually assaulted her at his residence.

    A-list director Nabeel Qureshi took to his Instagram stories and lashed out at the TikToker.

    Nabeel is currently gearing up for his forthcoming biggie Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad starring Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan.

    Speaking to The Current, Nabeel had shared that the film will be a satirical action-comedy, something along the lines of their previous film Actor in Law. Fahad had said that the film will feature action sequences that have never been tried before in Pakistan and that he performed all the stunts himself.

    “We have tried to pull off Mission Impossible type stuff in Pakistan with Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad,” said the actor. “I endured multiple injuries while performing these stunts. My heel was injured throughout the course of filming and I couldn’t even walk properly but still, I did all the stunts myself and no double was used.”

    A man has been arrested for allegedly raping an 87-year-old bedridden woman in Delhi, India. As per the local police, the incident happened on Sunday (February 13). As per the Indian media, the accused allegedly raped the woman and fled with her mobile phone. When the elderly woman questioned the man, he said that he worked for a gas company and that he had been called for some work.

    The daughter of the raped woman found her mother injured and called the police.

    “They (victim and daughter) are senior citizens and live alone. I came to Delhi and found that the police told them that they shouldn’t pursue the case because of their age and it would be stressful for them. The police registered a theft case and didn’t even inform us. Her (victim) granddaughter works in Canada and she can’t be here immediately. We are all worried. The police don’t care. Aunty is unsafe in her own home,” the relative of the victim said while talking to an Indian news outlet.

    In a tweet, the Delhi Police said, “The case of sexual assault of elderly lady in Tilak Nagar has been solved. Culprit in this blind case nabbed within 16 hours. Victim’s mobile phone was recovered from him. Accused lives in nearby locality and works as a sweeper.”

    A 10-year-old girl was allegedly raped in the washroom of a private school in Lahore and was taken to the hospital in critical condition, Dawn has reported.

    The incident was brought to light after the child, a third-grade student, was found in a terrible state in the washroom after the school had closed.

    According to the initial investigation, she went to the washroom after school, when the suspect reached inside and locked the door. Police officials suspect that the rapist is a male student at the institution.

    The victim cried out for help when she was being sexually assaulted, according to the police officer. Her class fellows told the police that they had informed the school management about her cries, but that they were ignored since “children used to make noise frequently” on school grounds.

    The victim was taken to the hospital, where sexual assault was confirmed by medics. The school’s CCTV cameras, as well as those located outside, are being used to assist the police.

    Parveen Rind, a practising nurse at Peoples University of Medical and Health Sciences for Women (PUMHS), Nawabshah alleged that she had been harassed by the university administration since her first year at the university, reports BBC Urdu.

    Rind alleged that “we were told to be friends with them, go out to dinner or else they would fail, cancel the admission and would beat us or harass us if we did not comply with their demands.”

    She added that on the morning of February 9th, three masked women barged into her hostel room, attempted to kill her and threatened her that if she tells anyone about the harassment, she would be dead. After the incident, the victim immediately told her family.

    In a video that is circling around social media, Rind can be seen saying that no girl is safe at the university’s hostel. She said that no student had committed suicide at the hostel, apparently referring to the mysterious deaths of Dr Nimrita and Dr Nosheen Shah in their hostel rooms in Chandka Medical College, Larkana, Naila Rind’s death in her hostel room in Sindh University, and Dr Asmat Rajput’s ‘suicide’ in her home in Sita Road town. “All had been killed”, she claimed.

    After protesting against the university administration and repeated complaints, the Sindh health minister Dr Azra Pechuho formed a three-member inquiry committee, reports Dawn.

    The chairman of the committee informed the PUMHS Vice-Chancellor (VC) that he would conduct an inquiry into the incident on February 11 (today) at 10am. As per the media, they have started the investigation without waiting for the report.

    However, the university’s registrar rejected Rind’s statement in a press release and said that no such incident had taken place.

    “There are two sorts of crime in society, one is corruption and the other is a sex crime. Sex crime has risen sharply in our society, i.e. rape and child abuse, and only one per cent of this is reported,” said PM Khan.

    “The other 99 per cent, I believe, society has to fight it. The same is the case with corruption… society has to make corruption unacceptable. Unfor­tunately, when you have leadership which is corrupt over time, they make corruption acceptable,” he said.

    The prime minister stressed the need to save the Muslim youth from being inundated with obscenity and pornographic material available on the internet.

    FIA to create list of sexual offenders in Pakistan

    The Cyber Crime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has decided to create lists of culprits involved in sexual offenses, reports Geo News.

    Director of Operations Cyber Crime, Babar Bakht Qureshi has directed cybercrime officers to compile a list of sex offenders, following the passing of the Anti-Rape Act.

    The director of operations stated that the records of those accused of rape, child pornography, and filming obscene videos of women will be collected and the information would aid the court in sentencing the perpetrators.

    Apart from habitual rapists, he said, records of women who have been involved in blackmailing would also be compiled with data collected on a regular basis under the Anti-Rape Act.

    The FIA has also asked police to provide a list of rape suspects.

    Gang-rape survivor Mukhtar Mai is facing serious life threats again as the police withdrew security in Meerwala, Alipur Jatoi in Muzaffargarh district, reports Nadeem Shah for The News.

    Mukhtar Mai said that she was provided police security but all of a sudden it was withdrawn without any notice. She said she herself and her students and children underwent a shock due to the withdrawal of police security.

    After the withdrawal of security, she held a meeting with Muzaffargarh District Police Officer (DPO) Hassan Iqbal and repeatedly requested him to redeploy police security for her. She said the DPO promised to do so, but nothing had happened.

    Two cops were deputed to provide her lifetime security in 2001 when she was gang-raped on the directives of the village council. Mukhtar Mai also reported to the DIG Dera Division on several occasions but he also did nothing.

    Mukhtar Mai said now she and her family members were feeling insecure and a man identified as Wasim entered her house waving a pistol and threatened to kill her.

    When contacted, Dera Ghazi Khan Regional Police Officer (RPO) Waqas Nazir said Muzaffargarh district police actually deputed a constable for her security. The district police transferred him somewhere but Mukhtar Mai did not accept it because the transferred constable was her husband. The matter came to his notice and he directed Muzaffargarh DPO to post the constable of her choice.

    Gojra motorway gang-rape incident has turned out to be a blackmailing act as the complainant and the victim of it were actually members of the inter-district gang, reports Dawn.

    Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) revealed that the complainant dropped First Information Report (FIR) after filing it. He said that all gang members, including the victim and complainant, have been arrested and they have confessed to blackmailing a number of people.

    Shaheen Akhtar, the complainant said that her 18-year-old niece Irumun Nisa was raped by two people in a car while travelling from Gojra to Faisalabad. Moreover, she alleged that men lured her niece from Toba Tek Singh on the pretext of offering her a job.

    Initially, a person was arrested later the police discovered that Nisa was not the niece of complainant Akhtar and added that the gang members cooked up rape stories and extorted money from people.
