Senior actress Saba Faisal revealed that she used to sew clothes for Punjab’s currentvChief Minister Maryam Nawaz and her mother Kulsoom Nawaz. In a recent Ramadan show hosted by Nadia Khan and Aijaz Aslam, Saba disclosed this detail from her past. A video clip from the show is circulating on social media where Aijaz Aslam asked Saba if she had ever run a business. She replied, “I used to run a clothes business before joining showbiz. I had a clothes factory where I used to sew clothes for Maryam Nawaz and her mother Kulsoom Nawaz.”
She explained “When I moved to Karachi, I had to close my business. Before taking this decision, I thought about it for six months, did Istikhara, and prayed to Allah so that I wouldn’t regret closing my business later. After thinking for six months, I closed my business. Today, I have no regrets about my decision and I have never looked back at this business,” Saba Faisal concluded.
Pakistan’s senior actress Saba Faisal has revealed that many young men have offered her marriage through messages. The actress recently appeared as a guest on a show where the host asked her, “Have you ever encountered a fanatical fan who is absolutely crazy? Affected by you to the point of insanity or harassing you with messages etc?”
In response, Saba said, “Maybe the fans think that I am very bored but the fact is that this has never happened to me,” but, she also said, “the messages keep coming.”
“Recently a 22-year-old boy sent me a message that if you give me a green signal even at this age, then I am ready to leave everything for you, if you say yes, then I will immediately come and hold your hand.” To which I told him that you will ask my 9-year-old grandson for my hand in marriage.”
Saba Faisal then showed the message to her husband. “I have been married for 40 years but Masha Allah my husband still expresses love to me through long messages because I am in Lahore more due to work.” She continued, “In response to their messages I call them and say thank you Faisal, we are far away, so this love is established,” to which they complain, “that I never respond to them in a romantic way.”
Veteran actress Saba Faisal was a guest on the Samaa show ‘Subh Ka Samaa Madehaa Kay Sath’ where she spoke about girls having unrealistic expectations from marriage, including immediately becoming the owner of a home after marrying a man. Her advise to these girls who wished to become financially secure was, not to look for better jobs, but to marry older man.
“Today’s girls think they will immediately become owner’s of homes after getting married and have a lot of wealth. They don’t realise that young men are struggling with their jobs in these periods. If you’re looking for financial stability, then a better choice is that you marry a man who is between the ages of 40 or 50. Since he would be able to fulfil all of your needs.”
Turns out this wasn’t the only housekeeping tip Miss Saba had to offer on the show. She also urged parents to pray for their son’s fortunes, rather than entirely focusing on their daughters because after all it is the son who is responsible for running the entire household. Women can’t become bread winners, Miss Saba? They are solely just burden on their parents because they have to eventually get married and become the responsibility of someone else?
“Parent’s shouldn’t just pray that their daughters fortunes are good, but they should also pray that their sons are blessed in life. They are the ones who are responsible for handling an entire household, and when they get married they have to get a wife who would take care of the entire family. Men have an enormous responsibility.”
