A section of Indian netizens are miffed with Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan’s latest advertisement. The Jab We Met star, who is the face of a jewelry brand, recently unveiled a picture promoting the auspicious Hindu festival of Akshaya Tritiya.
In the picture, Kareena dons a glittering lehenga accessorised with gold jewelry, but there is no bindi on her forehead; that has upset the Twitterati. Several netizens even called to boycott the brand and trolled the Ra.One diva.
In the advertisement for Akshaya Tritiya, Kareena is seen wearing an embellished pink lehnga, paired with an elaborate diamond neckpiece, huge earrings, and a maang tika. But what caught everyone’s attention was the absence of Bindi on Kareena’s forehead.
Netizens slammed the brand for promoting a Hindu festival without a proper depiction of Hindu married women. They argued for roping in a ‘muslim married woman’ for the launch the Hindu festival ad. This has created a rage on social media platforms with several hashtags such as #BoycottMalabarGold, #BoycottKareenaKapoorKhan and #NoBindiNoBusiness becoming top trends.
Earlier the Kambakht Ishq diva was trolled for looking old at Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding.
Not everything about Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor’s personal life was a bed full of roses. The actress was shining bright on the professional front, but on the personal front, she was struggling to get hold of her life.

After her breakup with Abhishek Bachchan, with whom she was engaged to get married, Karisma tied the knot with businessman Sunjay Kapur in an arranged marriage set up. However, within few years since they got married, trouble started brewing between the two.
Karisma shared a disturbing story of their honeymoon. She said during their honeymoon, he (Sunjay) forced her to sleep with his friends. And when she said ‘NO’, he beat her up and even quoted her price to one of his friends.
She also alleged that Sanjay was not complying with financial commitments. To that, Sunjay also claimed that Karisma married him only for money.
Karisma and Sunjay got married in 2003 in a grand way and after 11 years of their marriage, the actress filed for divorce in 2014, and they parted way. Their divorce battle was ugly with both Karisma and Sunjay levelling nasty allegations against each other. Karisma also filed a dowry harassment case against Sunjay and his mother Rani.
Not just that, during one of the court hearings for the case, Karisma made a shocking allegation against Sunjay. The actress claimed that once her mother-in-law gifted her a dress but because she was pregnant, she couldn’t fit into the dress. Seeing the same, Sunjay asked his mother to slap her. Karisma stated that Sunjay looked at his mom and told her, “Why don’t you just slap her?”
Karisma also blamed Sunjay for his philandering lifestyle and living with another woman and said that his mother supported all his doings. The actress claimed that Sunjay was still in a physical relationship with his first wife, when they got married.
Karisma and Sunjay were legally battling to get the custody of both the kids and for the same, they washed their dirty linens in public.
The ex flames were granted divorce in 2016, with the former getting custody of their children.
Sunjay was granted occasional visits to his children, Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Raj Kapoor.
During the divorce battle of Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur, the former had accused him for marrying her for her wealth while the latter had claimed the marriage to be a rebound for her broken engagement with Abhishek Bachchan. In a throwback interview with the Hindustan Times, Karisma’s father, Randhir Kapoor had revealed that he had never wanted his daughter to marry Sunjay Kapur.
He was quoted as saying, “Everyone knows our credentials. We are Kapoors. We don’t need to run after anyone’s money. We have been blessed with not only money, but our talent can support us for the rest of our lives. Sunjay is a third-class man. I never wanted Karisma marrying him. He has debauchery in his system and never cared for his wife. He has been giving bull*** to her, and living with another woman. The entire Delhi knows how he is. I would not like to say anything more than this.”
In the divorce petition, Sunjay Kapur had also claimed that Karisma Kapoor isn’t a good mother. On this, Randhir Kapoor had commented, “Everyone knows Karisma has always been a good mother. Her husband has been living with another woman. I was against this marriage since day one. The matter is sub judice and hence, I can’t comment further. Eventually, the entire truth will come out.” After a long legal battle, Karisma and Sunjay were granted divorce in 2016.
At present, both Sunjay and Karisma have moved on in their lives. While Sunjay is married to Priya Sachdev and the two have a son together. Karisma, on the other hand, was rumoured to be dating Sandeep Toshniwal, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Actor and host Mathira has shared her blunt stance on Sara Ali Khan’s viral video.
Last week, Sara Ali Khan interacted with her fans by answering their questions in an interactive session on Instagram. When a fan asked the Atrangi Re star, about the worst prank she has pulled on someone, she posted a video from the time when she pushed her spot girl into the pool.
Mathira stated that Sara is a horrible human for her.
When some netizens supported Sara by saying that she did it as a fun gesture, Mathira schooled them by saying that local netizens love to support foreign stars.
Kareena on Friday announced that she has been tested negative for the deadly virus.

Actor Mansha Pasha responded to a netizen on her official Instagram handle with a witty reply. The troll commented on the Laal Kabootar diva’s post that she is Bollywood star Sara Ali Khan’s “Copy No1”.
The Zindagi Gulzar Hai star replied, “Woh meri copy hai, I’m original.”
This is not the first time that Mansha was compared to Sara Ali Khan.
Previously, she had held an interactive session on her Instagram Stories, allowing her followers to ask her whatever they wanted. One user went on to comment, “You are Pakistan’s Sara Ali Khan,” and to our surprise, Mansha said she gets that a lot. “Yeah I don’t see it, but I get it a lot,” she confessed.
Her response started a debate on social media, leading many to dub the comparison a “result of hallucination,” while others claimed they saw it too.
Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif visited Pakistan in 2005 for a show in Fortress, Lahore along with Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan.
The show was organised by Fakhr-e-Alam and sponsored by Warid Telecom. Bombay Rockers, Malkoo and Atif Aslam also rocked at the musical show.

Bollywood actor Kareena kapoor Khan penned a heartfelt wish for her husband Saif Ali Khan on his birthday. The Agend Vinod duo are celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary and the Omkara diva has a beautiful wish for her husband.
“It started out great – I did amazing films. But then for a year I didn’t work. I felt like my career was over; I was told to ‘re-invent’, become size 0. Everyone goes through a lull in their career. But as an actor, it’s worse. So just when I thought I was falling, Saif caught me. I’d met him before, but while we were filming Tashan, something changed. I wore my heart on my sleeve! He was so charming; I fell for him hook, line and sinker,” said the Jab We Met star in an interview with Filmfare.

India’s biggest production house, Yash Raj Films (YRF) has announced the release dates of its four big screen projects as cinemas are set re-open in late October after staying shut due to pandemic woes. The films include Prithviraj, Shamshera, Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Bunty Aur Babli 2 starring A-list stars.
The Maharashtra government has announced that theatres will be opening in the state on October 22 and filmmakers have taken the opportunity to announce their next.

Yash Raj Film’s Bunty Aur Babli 2 starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and talented debutant Sharvari. The much-awaited, hilarious out and out family entertainer will release worldwide on November 19, 2021.

Despite the efforts of Bollywood’s celebrity couple Saif and Kareena to hide their second son, Jehangir from the media, he has been captured by the paparazzi in Mumbai. Media captured Jehangir exclusively as the celebrity couple reached the Jab We Met actor’s paternal home.
Jeh Ali Khan, or Jehangir as it might be, was born in February this year. After the birth of Jeh Kareena launched her book which is the comprehensive guide to pregnancy.
Sara Ali Khan recently appeared on Voot‘s chat show, where the Judwaa 2 actress revealed the reason of her parents’, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s divorce. She stated on the show that her parents weren’t happy together and hence decided to part ways.
The Kedarnath star stated, “It’s very simple. If you see there are two options, either live in the same house where no one is happy or live separately, where everyone is happy with their own lives and you also get a different kind of love and warmth every time you meet.”
She continued talking about her relationship with them, saying: “I live with my mother. She’s my best friend and means everything to me. I have a father too who is always available on the phone and I can meet him whenever I want. I don’t think they were happy together ultimately, so I guess separating was the best decision at that time.”
“They both are happy in their own world and lives, because of that their kids are happy too. All of us are much happier than we would have been for sure. So, everything happens for a reason,” added the Simmba star.
Saif and Amrita tied the knot in 1991 and officially parted ways in 2004. The ex-flames have two children together Sara and Ibrahim.
On the work front, Sara will be seen next in Anand L Rai’s Atrangi Re opposite Akshay Kumar.
