Renowned actress Mahira Khan recently shared her favorite gift from her husband, Salim Karim, and it’s rather unexpected.
In a video tour of her closet with her digital magazine, ‘Mashion,’ Mahira talked about the gifts she loves to give and receive. She said, “Even though I’m not a miser, I love giving people handwritten notes and letters instead of just material things.”
When it comes to receiving gifts, Mahira said, “My husband gives me really nice presents, but I love all the beautiful bangles he gives me every week.” She also joked about losing her latest gift, saying, “I think someone stole it, and whoever did will go to hell because my husband thinks I lost it on purpose, but I didn’t.”

Pakistani restaurateur and film actor Sikandar Rizvi shared a picture of the wedding today where he posed along with the groom and the rest of the guests. From the picture, we can see Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid- Chinoy’s husband, Fahd Kamal Chinoy, who is the CEO of Pakistan Cables.
Fashion stylist and blogger Samiya Ansari, who runs the Instagram account swearuponcoco was also among the attendees, as she shared a picture posing with Mahira’s brother, Hissan.
One of Mahira’s closest childhood friends, fashion designer Feeha Noor Jamsheed, posted a screenshot shared by a celebrity account of Mahira’s wedding video where she was seen crying.
Feeha also shared a long note yesterday on how she played a role in creating a match between Mahira and Salim, writing that she had vouched for his character to the actress.
PPP’s Climate Change Minister Sherry Rehman had also attended the wedding, and shared a picture with the groom with the caption: “Here’s to you both @salimkarim ♥️ and Mahira. Khush raho abaad raho.”
News sources said that celebrities were not present at Mahira and Salim’s wedding, but we have reason to believe director and actor Sarmad Khoosat was among the guests at the wedding, as he is spotted in Samiya Ansari’s Instagram stories, wearing what looks like wedding clothes.

She sat and managed the decoration downstairs, the table, the moving around of furniture anddd she was ready dot on time..

Mahira also shared that she chose to honor her nani and dadi by wearing a bud of motia in her baali

Yesterday, the ‘Raees’ superstar’s childhood best friend Feeha wrote a long note congratulating her best friend for her marriage, and shared it was she who had brought Mahira and Salim together.

After superstar Mahira Khan shared pictures of her intimate wedding ceremony to Salim Karim, an influx of celebrities, including Bollywood stars like Sonam Kapoor, sent their blessings and happy wishes to the gorgeous couple. Most importantly, it was her gorgeous wedding dress that mesmerised everyone.
The ‘Verna’ actress embodied every bit of the happy bride. She looked stunning in an ivory lengha choli silver ensemble, taking the pastel bride route that many Bollywood actresses like Parineeti Chopra, Kiara Advani and Alia Bhatt had embraced as well on their wedding days. To top her look, Pakistan’s sweetheart chose to go for a simple makeup look with her hair pulled back in a bun. As for jewelry, she picked an elegant diamond jewelry set which consisted of a choker necklace, jhumkas and a mang tikka, and a sheer veil donned over in a graceful manner as she walked down the aisle to her betrothed.
