Sami Khan’s crazy moment with female fan surprises wife

Fans can sometimes surprise their favorite celebrities in the most unexpected ways, creating unforgettable and often hilarious moments.

Recently actor Sami Khan appeared as guest on Mazaq Raat hosted by Imran Ashraf, where he talked about his craziest fan moment.

The cohost, Ayesha Shakoor, asked, “I’m sure you receive lines from fans because of how handsome you are. What was the craziest fan encounter you’ve ever had in your life?”

“It was a very crazy experience in Lahore. Everyone remembers that day in 2012 or 2013,” Khan remembered, recalling that it rained heavily, “so much that people said it looked like it was snowing.”

“One day, I was walking when suddenly I heard the noise of cars honking, a long line of vehicles. Out of nowhere, I heard a voice. It was a girl’s voice. She called out to me, and I said, ‘Thank you’.

“Suddenly, she got out of her car, ran towards me, and said, ‘I’m a huge fan, I’m a huge fan.’ I thanked her, but before I could say anything else, she hugged me. As soon as she hugged me, a close-up shot revealed that my wife was walking towards us,” he described.

“As she walked towards us, I was wondering what I was going to say, of course. The first thing that came was an interrogative question, ‘What was that?’ I said, ‘She was a fan.’ ‘If she was a fan, why did she hug you?’ she asked.

“I explained it all happened so quickly. I didn’t have time to respond before she hugged me. She said to me, ‘If she had said something else, you have probably done that too’. But I reassured her that wasn’t the case, after which she just said, ‘Make sure this doesn’t happen again”, Sami added.

Sami Khan starred in dramas such as Dil se Dil Tak, Yaad Piya Ki Aye, Ghar Ki Khatir, and Pagal Khana. Currently, he is starring in DunyiPur, which is written by Radain Shah and directed by Shahid Shafaat.

Sami Khan and Shanzay Khan tied the knot in 2009.

  • Sonya Hussyn and Sami Khan shine in ‘Aik Chubhan Si’

Sonya Hussyn and Sami Khan shine in ‘Aik Chubhan Si’

It’s too early to know where ‘Aik Chubhan Si’ will go, but with Sonya Hussyn and Sami Khan on screen, there’s more to the story than meets the eye. Here’s why we’re giving this one a go.

The story is different from the usual stuff on screen. There’s no love story with our hero and heroine falling in love at first sight. This Pakistani drama is about post-marital (non-marital) bliss. Naila and Haroon are happily married, but we see a husband who’s not too happy to serve Naila’s family. However, the story’s subtle and relatable details keep us watching.

Naila insists on looking after her uncle because he raised her. Haroon agrees, but reluctantly, with no toxicity (yet) in his attitude. There’s curiosity about Maheen, played by Hira Khan, as her character seems to have more to reveal, especially in the final scene of the first episode. Is there a hint of mystery, thrill, or something else in the drama? The first episode sets the stage and keeps us intrigued to learn more.

As the drama unfolds quickly, we hope the story won’t fall into the trap of overly stretched plots and typical ‘other woman’ conspiracies.
Sonya Hussyn and Sami Khan share great on-screen chemistry. If you’re a fan of this couple, then Aik Chubhan Si is a drama you should try. They appear comfortable on screen and make their characters believable and true to life. Their effortless interactions make the drama more enjoyable to watch.

Fahad Sheikh plays Moiz, Hira’s cousin, and his performance here is a step up from his past roles. Whether it’s the direction or Fahad’s acting, his character evokes sympathy, even in the first episode. We’re looking forward to more from him. Hira Khan’s character seems a bit toxic, but we hope she will prove to be more complex and interesting.

‘Aik Chubhan Si’ is written by Rukhsana Nigar and directed by Mohsin Talat. The cast features Sonya Hussyn, Sami Khan, Asma Abbas, Hira Khan, Fahad Sheikh, and others.

Sami Khan had scary experience on a flight

Well-known actor Sami Khan has narrated the story of a difficult plane journey last year.
Sami Khan recently appeared as a guest on a ‘Life Green Hai’ show where he had an interesting discussion on various topics.
“Last year I was traveling from Karachi to Lahore in the month of Ramadan, so during the flight, all the passengers were told that the weather was clear on the way, but if there is a storm in Lahore, there might be some trouble.”

The actor continued, recalling that the plane encountered turbulence as it neared Lahore. “When the plane was about to land on the runway at Lahore Airport, they heard a strange noise. The passenger sitting next to me looked outside and said that the tires of the plane did not open.”

He said, “After hearing this from the person sitting next to me, I said that now we can only recite Holy verses. Instead of landing there, the plane flew back to the top. All the passengers were reciting kalimah and it seemed to everyone that now death is upon us.”

Sami Khan was hoping that they would not try to land the plane there again. “The weather in Lahore was very bad and then the pilot announced that the plane won’t land here. It is quite dangerous so we are going to Islamabad after which the plane was landed at Islamabad Airport safely”

  • Update: Sami Khan, Nazish Jahangir starrer ‘Lafangey’ gets clearance from censor board

Update: Sami Khan, Nazish Jahangir starrer ‘Lafangey’ gets clearance from censor board

On July 5th, the Central Board of Film Sensors (CBFC) of Pakistan refused to clear Lafangey for release which was slated to hit screens on Eid-ul-Azha.

CBFC deemed it ‘unfit for screening in Pakistani theatres’.

Senior journalist Hasan Kazmi took to his Twitter handle to announce this update.

CBFC Chairman Arshad Munir told: “All the present members unanimously decided that the film was not capable of screening in Pakistani theatres. The film uses very vulgar language and phrases with double meanings which are quite indecent.”

However now according to our sources, Lafangey has received clearance after a full board review at Islamabad. It has also been cleared by the Sindh and Punjab censor boards. The film is releasing as per schedule on Eid-ul-Adha, alongside other biggies such as Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad and London Nahi Jaunga.

Given the flippant and unpredictability of censorship, this is, undoubtedly, a positive step, that is perhaps reflective of the fact that a situation can perhaps be resolved through compromise. It will definitely be interesting to see how this decision impacts the final cut of Lafangey.
