Pakistan cricket team’s fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has refused to become the vice-captain of the Pakistan cricket team.
According to Geo sources, Afridi has rejected an offer made by the selection committee for the vice-captaincy for the T20 World Cup.
Sources say that the speedster is not ready to take the position, leaving Muhammad Rizwan as the next strongest candidate for the post.
Afridi was removed as the captain, with the cap once again given to Babar Azam.
The T20 World Cup is going to start in USA and West Indies from next week.
