Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor and entrepreneur Anand Ahuja have been blessed with a baby boy on Saturday.
Anil Kapoor’s costar Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram handle to announce the arrival of Sonam’s baby with Anand Ahuja. The note reads, “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and open hearts. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, friends, and family who have supported us on this journey. It is only the beginning, but we know our lives have forever changed. Sonam and Anand.” It is indeed a happy moment for Kapoors and the Ahuja’s.
As the two shared the good news on their social media, the couple’s admirers, family, and friends showered their love on them. Sonam who married Anand in 2018, took the internet by storm as they shared that the baby is due this fall.
Ahead of the arrival of the baby, Sonam Kapoor had also revealed on social media that she had taken off on a babymoon to Europe with hubby Anand Ahuja. In fact, yet another baby shower was planned a few months ago by the actress’ London friends and her sister Rhea Kapoor in the England capital. It was a small brunchy affair, with chic décor and style, along with a performance from international artist Leo Kalyan.
Earlier this year, Sonam and Anand took to social media to announce their excitement saying, “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you. ❤️❤️❤️ #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022”.
After dating for several years, the two tied the knot in May 2018, and they had an intimate Punjabi wedding ceremony.
As soon as Sonam Kapoor shared her maternity pictures, her post went viral, while her fans, friends and family started pouring their love including superstar Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who wrote, “Wohoooooooo soooo happy for you both♥️♥️can’t wait for the babies to play,” while Anshula and Khushi dropped heart emojis.
Pakistani actresses like Aiman Khan, Minal Khan and Nimra Khan also liked her post.
Pakistan’s only female actor to be nominated in the prestigious Filmfare Best Actress category, Saba Qamar is amongst the biggest names in the Pakistani film & television fraternity.
The Cheekh actress is currently riding high on the success of her back-to-back hits Ghabrana Nahi Hai and Kamli. Saba exclusively revealed in her interview with The Current that she rejected Bollywood films Love Aaj Kal and Delhi 6 early on in her career.
The Baaghi actress said that she turned down Love Aaj Kal because Deepika was doing the female lead part but Saba was offered a parallel role, so she thought that Padukone will overshadow her.
Qamar termed this rejection to be a stupid act of hers.
As for Delhi 6, Saba’s mother didn’t allow her to work in Indian films at that point in time.
The Pani Jaisa Pyar diva was always lured by Bollywood directors and producers for leading roles but she dared to refuse the movies and work on her own terms.
The Hindi Medium star mentioned that she will only work with A-listers like Khans and Kapoors as she is an A-list actress here in Pakistan. She wouldn’t compromise on the production value and the team that she would work with.
Saba made her Bollywood debut in 2017 with Hindi Medium opposite Irrfan Khan.
On the work front, she is currently featuring in ARY Digital’s Fraud opposite Ahsan Khan and Mikaal Zulfiqar.
A video of Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor is resurfacing on social media, from her last appearance on Koffee With Karan.
In the video, the Neerja star is asked by the host Karan Johar that with whom she shares the best chemistry?, Sonam’s brother Harshvardhan Kapoor jumped in and took Fawad Khan’s name. The Delhi 6 star stated that she thinks the same and she loved her chemistry with Fawad. She concluded on a humorous note by saying that Karan sent him back to Pakistan.
Her statement left Karan shocked but he let it pass.
Kapoor worked with Khan in Disney’s Khoobsurat. The film gave Fawad his first break in Bollywood, for which he even received a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
Sonam grabbed headlines earlier this year for her pregnancy and the unfortunate robbery at her Delhi residence did not take place in just a day, rather, the thieves gradually stole precious items over a span of 10-11 months.
“The jewelry and cash were stolen in a span of 10-11 months, as and when the accused nurse got a chance,” a Delhi Police official told IANS.
A complaint was lodged two months back, on February 23, regarding a theft at the residence of Harish Ahuja at Amrita Shergil Marg in Delhi. Notably, Harish Ahuja is the father-in-law of Sonam Kapoor.
The Saawariya star’s father Anil Kapoor thanked Delhi Police on twitter for their successful investigation.
Model Bella Hadid, a vocal advocate of women’s rights and the rights of Palestinians, criticized the discrimination faced by Muslim women in India and elsewhere.
Taking to Instagram, the supermodel shared multiple news items from several countries and wrote, “In other forms of discrimination: I urge France, India , Quebec, Belgium, and any other countries in the world who are discriminatory against Muslim women, to rethink what decisions you have made or are trying to make in the future about a body that is not yours.”

Actor Danish Taimoor recently bagged the Best Actor Award for his hit play, Deewangi at the Lux Style Awards 2021, however he opened up on a lost Bollywood opportunity in resurfaced interview.
When the Deewangi star appeared on Bol Nights With Ahsan Khan along with his superstar wife Ayeza Khan, he revealed that he was offered to work alongside Bollywood glam girl Kareena Kapoor Khan but due to his misfortune, his big break in India never came.
During the show, the Mehrunisa V LubU actor disclosed that he was approached for a lead role opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in the star-studded Bollywood movie Veere Di Wedding which played in cinemas in 2018. According to him, the dates were finalised but then tensions between the two countries escalated in 2016 and he could not go to India to start shooting for the film.
Sharing the details of how he was asked to work with the megastar, Taimoor stated: “We were all ready to go for the shoot but then we got to know that Kareena was pregnant. After Kareena delivered her baby in 2016, the situation between India and Pakistan got worse.”
He was later replaced with actor Sumeet Vyas, who played Kareena’s reel husband eventually.
As the situation worsened between Indo-Pak after the Uri attacks in September 2016.

Violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) have been taking place in Delhi for months now but the situation appears to have worsened dramatically after shocking incidents of police brutality at universities emerged in the past couple of days.
As per reports, over a dozen people were killed with over 200 people injured in the violence in North-East Delhi since Monday. It is pertinent to mention here that US President Donald Trump was in India during the time of these protests.
With #DelhiBurning and #DelhiViolence trending on Twitter since Monday, many celebrities from Bollywood and Lollywood have come forward to speak out against the targeted brutality against Muslims in India.

A Muslim living in India gave an interview to the BBC Hindi, presenting an eyewitness account of the violence.

Following the attack by masked assailants wielding batons and iron rods at New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru University, leaving more than two dozen injured, India is in a state of conflict yet again. Controversy over Sunday’s violence at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) comes as a new challenge to the government as it confronts major nationwide protests against a new citizenship bill that critics say is anti-Muslim.
Students blamed the university attack on right-wing activists and also accused the police of doing nothing to stop the violence.
According to AFP, at least 28 students and teachers were injured in this attack, while doctors and nurses from a nearby hospital who went to treat them were also attacked.
The violence prompted several Bollywood actors to speak up on the matter while others including Vishal Bharadwaj, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dia Mirza, Rahul Bose, Richa Chadha and Taapsee Pannu led hundreds of people in a peaceful protest against the attack.
Taapsee Pannu, known for her roles in Pink, Manmarziyaan and Judwaa 2 also called for swift action to be taken against the perpetrators of violence. Sharing the news of Pakistan arresting the prime suspect in the Nankana attack case, Taapsee remarked that India should follow suit and do the same.
In case you missed it, it is national heartthrob Fawad Khan’s 38th birthday today. Though the actor has been off the screen for a while now, he is still one of the most sought-after celebrities this country has.
And we’re not the only ones who miss him. Turns out he is being missed across the border as well.
Editor of Filmfare Magazine, Jitesh Pillaai, sharing pictures and clips of Fawad from his dramas, wrote a heartwarming note for the actor saying that he misses them.

Fawad’s career in Bollywood was just taking off when a ban on Pakistani actors was announced in 2016. Following that, Fawad had several projects lined up but the Pulwama attack in early 2019 put an end to all chances. The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) announced a blanket ban on Pakistani actors and artists working in the Indian film industry and vowed to take strict action against anyone who works with them.
