  • Ali Ansari’s new song is pure aspirational fantasy

    Ali Ansari’s new song is pure aspirational fantasy

    Singer Ali Ansari has released a new song called Escobar, and it’s getting a lot of attention. Unlike many Pakistani hip-hop songs that talk about going from poor to rich, Ansari does something different. He follows the Western style of showing off wealth, enjoying parties, and living a fancy life.

    In his song, Ansari proudly talks about being rich, making it clear that he lives a life that most people can only dream of. The music video adds to the overall effect by showing Ansari with fancy cars and piles of money.
    The term “Desi Columbia” is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the country’s cartels, making it seem like he’s as powerful and rich as a mafia boss or a big superstar. Ansari’s lyrics mention his expensive shoes that groove all night and the dollars around him. He even shares his playlist, including Jay-Z, to show his love for Western hip-hop.
    Even though Ansari admits that his dealings might be a bit “shady,” he confidently says he’s a millionaire, and everything is fine. The song might not be everyone’s favorite, but it’s different and definitely worth a listen.

    Man divorces bride for dancing to ‘provocative’ song at their wedding

    An Iraqi man divorced his bride during their wedding ceremony for playing a ‘provocative’ Syrian song (Mesaytara – which translates to ‘I am dominant’ or ‘I will control you’), reports Gulf News.

    It was reported that the bride was dancing to the rhythm of ‘Mesaytara’, which the groom and his family considered a provocation. Later, the groom entered into an argument with his bride and divorced her in the wedding hall.

    This is not the first time this song has caused newlyweds to get divorced. Last year, a Jordanian man broke up with his bride during their wedding celebrations after she played this song.

    The first part of the song goes:

    I am dominant; you will be ruled under my strict instructions;

    ‘I will drive you crazy if you looked at other girls on the street;

    ‘Yes, I’m dominant;

    ‘You’re my piece of sugar;

    ‘As long as you’re with me, you’ll walk under my command.”

    Mahira Khan, Azaan Sami Khan turn up the heat in ‘Tu’

    Azaan Sami Khan has released the music video for Tu, the second single from his debut album titled Main Tera. Featuring Mahira Khan, the song has been released under the banner of HUM Music.

    The music video of the song has been made like a short film and is packed with special effects which are enhanced thanks to Mahira and Azaan’s sizzling chemistry. It shows a couple’s journey from early romance and infatuation to overwhelming feelings of love. Mahira is looking like a total diva in the video and the two are turning up the heat with their dance moves. The song is very upbeat and catchy and will have you tapping your feet.

    Speaking about the song, Azaan in a statement said that the song “lyrically revolves around the stages of being in love, and the dilemma that comes with falling for somebody who you know isn’t good for you.”

So, you feel bigger than the world, and at times, you feel really small when the person completely controls you. You feel like you’re literally falling, and enjoying it.”

    Meanwhile, Azaan’s debut album Main Tera includes nine songs, namely Maahiya, Dholna, Mein Tera, Jaadugari, Aashiqui, Ik Lamha, Meri Sajna Re feat. Ustaad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Zama, and Tu.
