Syed Mohammad Ahmed reveals his favorite death scene

In Pakistani dramas, some actors seem to die in almost every role. Actor and writer Syed Mohammad Ahmed is one of them.

Recently Syed Mohammed Ahmed appeared as a guest on ‘Hasna Mana Hai’ where he shared his favorite death scene.

A fan in the audience asked, “Sir, like you appear in almost all Pakistani dramas, and coincidentally, you often die in them as well. So, which is your favorite death scene?”

Syed Ahmed replied, “The best one was in Sabaat, and the funniest death was in Neeli Zinda Hai. I was hit on the head. The third one, which will be a good death, is coming soon. It’s in the drama Sunn Mere Dil. I’m going to die in a different way, and the camera angle was different too.”

The host asked, “If you had to write your own death scene, how would you write it?”

“I would write it so that there’s just a mention that I’ve passed away quietly in the background, without showing any dramatic scene or anyone crying over it,” The Meray Pass Tum ho actor replied.

He has starred in dramas such as Shaista Shaista, Durr-e-Shehwar, Suno Chanda 2, Sinf-e-Aahan and Radd.

Currently Syed Ahmed is starring in Sunn Mere Dil, written by controversial writer Khalil-Ur Rehman Qamar and directed by Haseeb Hassan.

Bushra Ansari does not like that Chahat Fateh Ali Khan got overnight fame

Nowadays, with social media, it’s easier than ever to become famous overnight.  Social media sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan gained to fame by creating funny parodies of well songs. He gained 20 million views on YouTube in just one month with his most recent rendition of ‘Bado Badi,’ a song by Madam Noor Jahan.

Veteran actress Bushra Ansari, however, takes exception to social media fame. The comedian appeared as a guest on ‘Hasna Mana hai’, where she talked about the overnight sensation.   When host Tabish Hashmi asked, “Nowadays, I’ve seen singers like Chahat Fateh Ali Khan performing in a certain way, do you find it funny, or do you see it insulting,”

Bushra replied, “May Allah grant him a long life, I feel sad to see how people go viral for certain things. I just don’t understand it, it’s beyond my comprehension. This trend is definitely wrong, and there are others involved as well. I can’t recall their names, but some are quite strange. I’m shocked by how songs are misused in this way.”  While Bushra Ansari is entitled to her view, Chahat has said in many interviews that he works very hard on his songs and that it took him many years to gain fame.

She is currently starring in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum which is written by Farhat Ishtiaq and directed by Badar Mehmood. Its airs on ARY Digital on Monday and Tuesday at 8:00 PM.

In response to a question, Agha Ali said, “It was in 2016- 2017 during which time I would sign any drama, after that I would get a call from the producer saying, ‘Agha, do you have any quarrel with such and such heroine?’ On this, I would tell them that I have not even met this heroine yet, on which the producer would ask that ‘You don’t have any quarrel with her fiance?’ I tell them that I don’t know who their fiancés are.”

He further said that during this time he was also going to work with Humayun Saeed’s production house. “He also called me and asked me what are you doing that the fiances and husbands of the actresses are afraid of you?”

A clip from the episode is going viral in which Tabish opened up about the time he performed stand- up comedy in colleges, stating that the main purpose of such events was to pick people from crowds and mock something about them.

“This was 2009-2010, we were all misogynist, mocking people for skin tone, body shaming them and even for short height,” remarked the comedian. “We didn’t know what we were doing was wrong.”

To which, Ahmed Ali Butt responded that this kind of comedy was not wrong at all, elaborating:

“I don’t think such a thing as this is wrong. Comedy is always done at the expense of others. Otherwise you shouldn’t do comedy at all.”

The satirist responded by remarking that Tabish Hashmi could lead such a popular group. Then he named singer and satirist Ali Aftab Saeed, whose widely popular song ‘Aloo Anday’ is still remembered as a forceful takedown of the powerful.

“That song is so powerful, so satirical and musical that you could listen to it in the car,” Sanjay remarked.

The other person Sanjay mentioned was Faris Shafi, pointing out that the rapper’s lyrics are quite impressive.

The clip circulated widely on social media, and even got an acknowledgment from Ali himself.

  • Tabish Hashmi set to become a politician, will join a party in near future

Tabish Hashmi set to become a politician, will join a party in near future

Host and comedian Tabish Hashmi has announced in a recent interview that he will join politics in the next 2-3 years. The Hasna Mana Hai star stated that he likes to challenge himself in life and now after carving his own niche in media, he wants to foray into a more serious profession. “People restrict themselves in terms of professional ambitions, but I don’t.”

Hashmi revealed this on a YouTube show, Foodies Carpool.

Tabish has been doing standup comedy and public speaking since 2004, his college days, but he got fame after hosting the digital show, TBH.

Hashmi recently shared pictures with his family on social media.

Earlier in another interview, the comedian revealed that it was, indeed, Sharma who copied a Pakistani concept and based his show on that and it was not the other way around.

Hashmi said that it was easy for people to say that “Hasna Mana Hai” was similar to Kapil’s show as the sets of both the shows were based on cities that look like each other — Lahore and New Delhi.

“On Kapil’s show, the set depicts Delhi. Our set portrays Lahore, and both cities are identical. have been to both cities. Delhi looks like Lahore, and Lahore looks like Delhi,” said Tabish.

Clapping back at his critics, the comedian-turned-host said that the concept of the set as well as the type of comedy projected on the show was a Pakistani concept.

“This is Umar Sharif’s concept. This is Amanullah’s concept. This is our concept,” said Tabish, adding that no one pointed out that Kapil stole Pakistan’s idea because India spent millions on it and marketed the show as if it was their original idea.

To further prove his point, Hashmi also juxtaposed Indian actor Amir Khan’s “Laal Singh Chaddha” with the Hollywood flick “Forest Gump”. He explained that millions of people would not have watched Tom Hanks’s Oscar-winning film, therefore, many would assume Amir Khan’s work was an original idea.

Tabish said the comparison was “unjust” as Kapil’s show was aired once a week, whereas his show is broadcast thrice a week with unscripted guests.

“In 2007, a show used to be aired on Geo, called “Chouraha”. It was made exactly on Sharma’s show format, but the Indian comedian’s show was introduced in 2011. No one said that Sharma copied Chauraha’s idea,” argued the comedian.

Despite the criticism, Tabish said he wanted his fans to “be by his side” as building a show was a “long haul process”. He added that he will not rest until “Hasna Mana Hai” hit its peak like his last venture.

The comedian, who has recently returned to Pakistan after living in Canada, said that it was an obvious choice for him to migrate from his homeland in the first place.

“In Pakistan, unfortunately, being rich or from the upper middle-class is not sufficient. You also need to have the ability to afford your socio-economic status,” said Tabish. He explained that when he used to live in Karachi, he could afford a car and have luxuries like air conditioners but did not have the money to maintain those things.

The comedian-turned-host said that security and lack of basic necessities was also a factor for him to take such a decision.

“There was no electricity, no safety. You need all these things [especially when] you are staying in a city like Karachi. This used to irritate me because I filed taxes, I was a law-abiding citizen, but even then, I needed to spend more on every basic need, and it made me decide that I must migrate from here,” he said.

When asked why he chose to return, Tabish simply responded by saying that he came back as he had the money to afford all those luxuries now.
