A video of Shah Rukh Khan’s younger son AbRam showing his acting skills in a school play has gone viral on social media.
Students at Dhirubhai Ambani International School organized a show for their annual day, featuring dance, drama, and music. Many Bollywood celebrity kids attend the school, and their talents were on full display.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son, AbRam, showcased his talent, at one point, striking his father’s famous pose, spreading out his arms just like his father does in his movies, hugging the characters in the play one by one.
A video of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is resurfacing on social media in which he admits to having regretted passing on Pakistani superstar Fawad Khan’s role in Kapoor & Sons.
Co-guest Kangana Ranaut said that Saif should have done the film while praising the Zindagi Gulzar Hai star for his performance. “Fawad was so good in the film, I love Fawad.”
Earlier in another interview, Said revealed that, “I’m not a petty guy with a narrow-minded mentality. I’m very liberal in my views and can look beyond things. It’d be amazing to have a gay character as one of the roles in my portfolio and I look forward to playing one. It’s got nothing to do with being perceived as an alpha male, like your article argued, as I don’t think I have a particularly macho image. At the time when Kapoor and Sons was offered to me, I didn’t feel it was the right project for me to get into.”

Everyone makes mistakes, but when Karan (Johar, film producer) and Shakun (Batra, film director) came to me, I just didn’t feel like doing the film… just like when Sajid Khan came to me, I had felt like doing Humshakals, which now I know was horrible. When Shakun Batra’s Kapoor And Sons was released back in 2016, no one had thought that the film would be what it is. It is probably one of the most realistic yet entertaining family films that, instead of painting a rosy picture, gives us a glimpse of what really goes on in a family. The way the vulnerabilities, flaws, and shortcomings of each character were portrayed has been lauded for years and it made us empathize with the family. Fawad Khan was unanimously praised for his acting in the film. His portrayal of a closet man was spot on. However, the role was rejected by multiple A-list actors before it fell in Fawad’s lap.
Popular film critic Rajeev Masand wrote in a leading daily, “As many as half a dozen actors are believed to have turned down the role of the elder brother in Shakun Batra’s hit Kapoor & Sons, before the makers approached Fawad Khan. Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Shahid Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor were all approached. While some explicitly admitted that they didn’t want to play a character that happens to be gay, others reportedly cited different excuses.”
Rajeev also sighted that Farhan was the only one who gave declined in the most professional way. “Farhan, whom Shakun had assisted previously, said he loved the film but didn’t see himself playing the older sibling. Of the lot, the makers say he was the most professional and upfront about his reservations.”

After her breakup with Abhishek Bachchan, with whom she was engaged to get married, Karisma tied the knot with businessman Sunjay Kapur in an arranged marriage set up. However, within few years since they got married, trouble started brewing between the two.
Karisma shared a disturbing story of their honeymoon. She said during their honeymoon, he (Sunjay) forced her to sleep with his friends. And when she said ‘NO’, he beat her up and even quoted her price to one of his friends.
She also alleged that Sanjay was not complying with financial commitments. To that, Sunjay also claimed that Karisma married him only for money.
Karisma and Sunjay got married in 2003 in a grand way and after 11 years of their marriage, the actress filed for divorce in 2014, and they parted way. Their divorce battle was ugly with both Karisma and Sunjay levelling nasty allegations against each other. Karisma also filed a dowry harassment case against Sunjay and his mother Rani.
Not just that, during one of the court hearings for the case, Karisma made a shocking allegation against Sunjay. The actress claimed that once her mother-in-law gifted her a dress but because she was pregnant, she couldn’t fit into the dress. Seeing the same, Sunjay asked his mother to slap her. Karisma stated that Sunjay looked at his mom and told her, “Why don’t you just slap her?”
Karisma also blamed Sunjay for his philandering lifestyle and living with another woman and said that his mother supported all his doings. The actress claimed that Sunjay was still in a physical relationship with his first wife, when they got married.
Karisma and Sunjay were legally battling to get the custody of both the kids and for the same, they washed their dirty linens in public.
The ex flames were granted divorce in 2016, with the former getting custody of their children.
Sunjay was granted occasional visits to his children, Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Raj Kapoor.
During the divorce battle of Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur, the former had accused him for marrying her for her wealth while the latter had claimed the marriage to be a rebound for her broken engagement with Abhishek Bachchan. In a throwback interview with the Hindustan Times, Karisma’s father, Randhir Kapoor had revealed that he had never wanted his daughter to marry Sunjay Kapur.
He was quoted as saying, “Everyone knows our credentials. We are Kapoors. We don’t need to run after anyone’s money. We have been blessed with not only money, but our talent can support us for the rest of our lives. Sunjay is a third-class man. I never wanted Karisma marrying him. He has debauchery in his system and never cared for his wife. He has been giving bull*** to her, and living with another woman. The entire Delhi knows how he is. I would not like to say anything more than this.”
In the divorce petition, Sunjay Kapur had also claimed that Karisma Kapoor isn’t a good mother. On this, Randhir Kapoor had commented, “Everyone knows Karisma has always been a good mother. Her husband has been living with another woman. I was against this marriage since day one. The matter is sub judice and hence, I can’t comment further. Eventually, the entire truth will come out.” After a long legal battle, Karisma and Sunjay were granted divorce in 2016.
At present, both Sunjay and Karisma have moved on in their lives. While Sunjay is married to Priya Sachdev and the two have a son together. Karisma, on the other hand, was rumoured to be dating Sandeep Toshniwal, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Indian Journalist Barkha Dutt called out the criticism on Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s son Taimur’s name by a section of the Indian population.

Months after celebrity couple Kareena and Saif welcomed their younger son, his name is finally revealed by the Ki and Ka diva’s father. The Agent Vinod pair have named their child, Jeh.
Heroine’s actress and Hum Tum actor are yet to reveal Jeh’s face in its entirety due to privacy reasons.
Speaking to an Indian media outlet, the veteran actor Randhir Kapoor said, “Yes, Kareena and Saif’s younger son has been named Jeh”. He added that the name was finalised “about a week ago”.
Upon Taimur’s birth, Kareena and Saif were trolled online for the choice of their baby’s name. Many believed he was named after the Turkish invader of the same name. Kareena and Saif have insisted that Taimur means ‘iron’ in Persian, which is what they were going for.
According to reports, Jeh in Latin means ‘blue crested bird.’ Kareena had also revealed earlier that Saif wanted to name their first son ‘Faiz’ since it had poetic connotations.
