Indian actor-model Geethika Tiwari left a mysterious comment on the latest photo posted by her co-star, Pakistani heartthrob Feroze Khan.
Khan shared a new photo on his Instagram on Thursday evening, shirtless, showing off his well-defined abs.

In the caption, he wrote, “- they wish to be close to me.” The post got over 150k likes and many comments for the superstar. But one comment from his upcoming co-star, Indian actor Geethika Tiwari, caught the attention of social media users.

  • Karan Johar slammed for excluding Fawad Khan in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ tribute

On Friday, Bollywood’s ace producer and director Karan Johar shared pictures from the time he was filming Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016. The pictures showed Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Aishwarya Rai having fun on set.

Karan captioned the post with a heartwarming note and wrote, “‘The experience of filming ADHM was one of my best on-set experiences.’” He continued to praise the three actors for their talent and commitment to their roles, writing, “‘Anushka and Ranbir were such a treat to direct… I always wanted to direct Aishwarya and she gave Saba so much dignity, poise, and beauty.’”

In the same message, Karan talked about how he learned about “the Ranbir process” and came to really respect it. “I got to know and love him as a person and appreciate his detachment from stardom or movie star trappings,” he wrote.
Right after the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani director posted the pictures, fans noticed that Fawad Khan’s name wasn’t there in the message, despite him playing a huge role in the movie. They shared their disappointment in the comments.

An Instagram user commented, “The caption is so beautiful, but not a single line for Fawad? Why, Karan?” Another user wrote, “How smoothly you skipped mentioning Fawad Khan… Surely it wouldn’t have been that damaging? Disappointed here in Lahore.”
This is not the first time Karan has been controversial when it comes to his professional relationship with Fawad. In 2017, during a session with two-time Academy Award winner Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, the Student of the Year director subtly hinted that he would not be open to working with Fawad (and presumably other Pakistani artists) in the future.

“It was a tough time for me. I don’t think I would want to repeat that experience ever,” said Karan when Sharmeen said she hoped to see Fawad directed by him again. Karan continued to say that he wishes Fawad would find the best platform to showcase his talents. “I have great regard for Fawad’s talent. So just like you [Sharmeen], I hope and wish he finds the best platforms because he is a prolific actor.”

In 2018 on Koffee with Karan, in a game of rapid fire between Sonam Kapoor and her siblings, the former was asked who she pairs well with on screen. When her brother, Harshvardhan, suggested Fawad, Sonam quickly jibed back with, “But Karan sent him back!”
The statement was met with a look of horror from Karan. He then avoided commenting on the matter and asked Sonam for another name, to which she replied, Salman Khan.

Pakistani actors have been unofficially barred from acting in Bollywood films since the hard-liner BJP-led government of Narendra Modi took the government.

  • Which dashing bowler does Natasha Ali want as her hero?

Natasha Ali, actor and contestant on ‘Tamasha 2’, expressed her desire to have fast bowling sensation Haris Rauf as the main actor and Babar Azam in the role of her brother in a movie.

During a talk show on ‘Show Time’ she was joined by veteran actor Babar Ali. Natasha chose the two cricketers from Pakistan’s national cricket team for her dream cast in a film. “I would like to cast Haris Rauf as my hero, whereas, for his brother, I would choose Babar Azam,” she remarked, leaving the live audience in splits.

Natasha then said, “I think Muhammad Rizwan would be a good villain. Maybe it’s his face, or maybe just how he looks in pictures. But remember, villains don’t always have to look mean. There are handsome villains too!”

“Honestly, I don’t know a lot about him, but I think Iftikhar Ahmed would be good for the father’s role,” Natasha said. “And Shaheen Afridi could play the funny character in the film,” she added.

Meanwhile, when Babar Ali was asked about his picks for the upcoming World Cup, he chose Babar Azam, Hassan Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Imam ul Haq, Haris Rauf, Muhammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, Saud Shakeel, Muhammad Wasim, and Muhammad Haris.

  • Greta Thunberg shows up at protest to denounce Israel’s participation in Eurovision

Greta Thunberg shows up at protest to denounce Israel’s participation in Eurovision

Continuing with her support for the Palestinian cause, climate activist Greta Thunberg joined thousands of demonstrators marching through the streets of Malmo in Sweden, on Thursday, spamming Israel’s participation in Eurovision.

This year’s Eurovision song contest began on Tuesday, in the southern Swedish city of Malmo. The grand finale is scheduled for Saturday, but the war in Gaza is ‘looming’ over the festivities.

“I am a Eurovision fan and it breaks my heart but I’m boycotting. I can’t have fun knowing that Israel is there participating when all those kids are dying. I think it’s just wrong” 30-year-old protester Hilda (who did not want to provide her surname), told members of the press. Israel’s military offensive has killed at least 34,904 people in Gaza, mostly women and children.

In 2022, Russia’s state broadcaster was excluded from the European Broadcasting Union (which oversees Eurovision), in the wake of the war in Ukraine. “I feel like if they can remove Russia why can they not do it to Israel?” 29-year-old, Margo Mustafa said in an exchange with reporters’.
“The people are here for Eurovision trying to celebrate. There’s nothing to celebrate. It’s an ongoing war” she added.

An excess of 5,000 people gathered on Thursday afternoon, in Malmo’s main square, according to an estimate. Signs in the crowd read: “Liberate Palestine”, “EUR legitimises genocide” and “colonialism cannot be washed in pink.”

Israel’s entrant, “Hurricane” by singer Eden Golan, is set to compete in Thursday’s semi-final. It has already been partially re-written and given a new title, after Eurovision organisers deemed the original version to be ‘too political’.

Protester Cecilia Brudell, told the press “At six and nine, my children are now at an age where they want to watch Eurovision but this year we are completely boycotting it”.

Since the new year, numerous petitions have demanded Israel’s exclusion from the 68th edition of the annual music competition. At the end of March, contestants from nine countries, including Swiss favourite Nemo, called for a ‘lasting ceasefire’.

Internet buzzes over Mahira Khan’s mom’s witty response to question

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, renowned for her captivating performances, has once again charmed audiences with a recent social media update.

In a video shared by the star, she proudly displays her nose ring, drawing attention not just to her accessory, but to her mother’s witty remark that stole the spotlight.

Mahira, celebrated for her stellar roles in dramas like ‘Humsafar’, has often faced comments about her nose, with some suggesting she should consider surgery. However, the actress embraces her distinctive feature, standing firm against societal pressures.

The video features her posing with a golden nose ring against the backdrop of a Punjabi song.

When she asked her mother about getting her nose pierced, her mom humorously responded, “If your nose was small, I would definitely say yes.” Mahira Khan shared the amusing exchange along with the video, sparking a series of hilarious reactions.

Former actress and host Sanam Jung also chimed in, sharing her own story of her father initially approving her nose piercing but later changing his mind, acknowledging that she looked perfect just the way she was.

Mahira Khan’s post has garnered an overwhelming amount of love and support from fans and fellow artists, with many applauding her confidence and her mother’s sharp wit. The video has quickly gone viral, underscoring Mahira Khan’s nose ring as a symbol of self-love and individuality.

  • Crowd boos at Israel singers during Eurovision rehearsels

Crowd boos at Israel singers during Eurovision rehearsels

This week, all eyes are on the Eurovision Song Contest happening in Malmo, Sweden’s third-largest city. Over 150 million people worldwide watch this yearly event, which organizers claim is not political. However, this year might be different.

During the dress rehearsal, Israeli singer Edan Golan was booed on stage while performing. Some people in the audience loudly disagreed with Israel being part of the event and chanted ‘Free Palestine!’

Videos shared on social media show the booing and chanting throughout Edan’s performance, almost drowning out her singing. Police at the Malmö Arena stepped in and stopped the people.

An X user shared a video of the disruption, writing, “Israel getting booed at Eurovision. We love to see it.”

Someone else wrote, “I’ve never heard so much booing at Eurovision before, but Israel didn’t face any big problems during the first show with a crowd.”

The EBU expressed “regret” for letting Swedish singer Eric Saade perform at the opening of the contest after he wore a Palestinian keffiyeh scarf around his wrist. So far, organisers have refused to budge to demands that Israel be booted off the competition for its genocide in Gaza.

  • Mishi Khan, Abrar ul Haq continue with their spat over Bollywood

Mishi Khan, Abrar ul Haq continue with their spat over Bollywood

As people who like drama and gossip, we were entertained by actor Mishi Khan and singer Abrarul Haq trading blows. But the war of words is now getting to be a bit repetitive. After Abrarul Haq responded to Mishi’s earlier comments about his Bollywood claims, Mishi posted another video on her Instagram, along with a caption making fun of the Bilo singer. She asked why he talked about a project he was offered 12 years ago. She wondered why he brought it up now when it doesn’t matter anymore.

Mishi continued to criticize Abrar for struggling to say her name in his video. She said he seemed like he was reading from a script, and she didn’t feel sorry for what she said before. “Yes, I laughed at you, and I admit that,” she said. “But do you remember when I supported you when you were a teacher? Nobody knew you then! You even appeared on my channel once!”

Expressing her feelings in her caption, Mishi said, “Stay focused and don’t act like you don’t know me. Whoever gave you the script did a bad job. Yes, I made fun of it because I thought it was funny. Just because we’re in the same industry doesn’t mean I have to say yes or agree with everything. I was never overly polite.” Finishing her post, Mishi added, “For me, the Bollywood offer was recent news because I’m not your obsessed fan keeping track of your offers. I hope you remember my name. It’s not Mushy, it’s Mishi.”

For those who don’t know, the singer recently said in an interview that he turned down a chance to act in Bollywood alongside Katrina Kaif because the movie didn’t match his moral beliefs. Mishi then questioned why Abrar didn’t talk about this before. Abrar responded with his own video, questioning the morals of those who see a Bollywood offer as an honor and asked people to focus on his charity work instead. Whether Abrar will respond to Mishi’s second attack with another video is uncertain.
