  • Trent Boult to retire after T20 World Cup

    New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult has announced his retirement after the current T20 World Cup.

    Bolt confirmed the news in a press conference after New Zealand’s 9-wicket victory over Uganda.

    ‘If I talk about myself, this will be my last T20 World Cup. That’s all I have to say,” he announced.

    Winning the International Cricket Council (ICC) tournament has once again, became a dream for New Zealand. The team failed to reach the Super Eight stage.

    Bolt made his debut in 2011. He played the finals of T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup and World Test Championship. He has played in four T20 World Cups since 2014 but failed to win the World Cup for New Zealand.
