Former Pakistan spinner Saeed Ajmal wants former Pakistan speedster Mohammad Amir to apologise to Harbhajan Singh for “jumping in” between Shoaib Akhtar and the Indian bowler’s Twitter conversation.
Speaking to Cricket Pakistan, Ajmal said that players should treat each other well because cricket brings people together.
“I think Amir made a mistake by jumping in that conversation [between Shoaib Akhtar and Harbhajan Singh] and he should apologise for it. It was a discussion between two great cricketers and Amir made the wrong choice by getting involved in it,” he said.
Amir and Singh indulged in a war of words a couple of days ago when the former taunted the latter after India beat Pakistan in the T20 World Cup match on October 24.
Harbhajan responded to Amir, and the two had a heated exchange, bringing everything into the mix from Amir’s spot-fixing controversy to Shahid Afridi smashing Harbhajan for four consecutive sixes in a 2006 Lahore Test match.
During the interview, Ajmal also spoke about the Pakistan cricket team’s performance so far in the World Cup, adding that he was pleasantly surprised by the energy and performance of the team.
After Pakistan demolished Indian team on Sunday in the T20 World cup, former left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir took a dig at Harbhajan Singh on social media.
Amir took to Twitter on Monday and asked, “Harbhajan Paa ji ne TV to nai tora apna? (Did Harbhajan broke his TV?).” The comment was made over the taunts of Indians about Pakistani fans breaking their television sets after losing to India in the past editions of world cups.
hello everyone woh pochna yeah tha @harbhajan_singh paa ji ne TV to ni tora apna koi ni hota hai end of the day its a game of cricket .
To this, Singh replied on Twitter saying, “Ab Tum bi bologe @iamamirofficial. Yeh 6 ki landing tumhare ghar k tv par to nahi hui thi ?? Koi nahi hota hai end of the day it’s a game of cricket as you rightly said” which loosely translates to “Now you will also say things? Did this six land on your TV at home?” With this tweet he attached a video of him hitting a last over six against Pakistan.
Things just kept on escalating from there as the two cricketers tweeted out replies to each other with Amir taunting the Indian spinner with a video of him conceding 4 sixes off 4 balls from Shahid Afridi.

Not one to back down, Harbhajan Singh slammed Amir for the ‘Lord’s Test No-Ball’ spot fixing incident in 2010 to which Amir replied with “Bare hi dheet ho talking about my past wouldn’t change the fact that tumko 3 din pehle moun ki khani pari, and how about your illegal bowling action mate. Ab nikal or humko WC win karta dekh. Walk over tu nhi mila jao Park me walk karo u’ll feel better @harbhajan_singh.” (Talking about my past won’t change the fact that you lost on Sunday. And what about your illegal bowling action mate? Now, just watch us lift the World Cup. You didn’t get a walkover, now go and walk in the park.”)

Harbhajan fired back with the same video of him hitting the six in the last over to win the match for India. And simply tweeted, “Fixer ko sixer, chal daffa ho ja” along with the aforementioned video.
An epic Twitter feud between Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh over the ongoing farmer’s protests in India is making headlines across the subcontinent. In case, you have no idea what happened, keep reading.
The fight started when Dosanjh hit out at Ranaut for misidentifying an elderly Sikh woman from the farmers’ protest as Bilquis Bano – the octogenarian who made international headlines during the anti-CAA protests earlier this year in the Delhi neighbourhood of Shaheen Bagh – and said the woman joined the protest for Rs 100 only. Ranaut later deleted the tweet after she was called out for spreading misinformation.
Sharing a video of the woman speaking on the issue, Dosanjh advised Kangana to listen to the video.
What followed was an ugly war of words with Dosanjh counter-attacking in Punjabi. Kangana did not hold herself back while attacking Diljit, referring to him as “Karan Johar ke paltu“.
In response to this, Dosanjh told Kangana that she is well-versed with the art of playing with people’s emotions. No surprises there. The actor has on several occasions also propagated hate against Pakistan.
Oh chamche chal, tu jinki chat chat ke kaam leta hai, main unki roz bajati hoon, jayada mat uchal, main Kangana Ranaut hoon tere jaisi chamchi nahin jo jhoot boloon, maine sirf aur sirf Shaheen Baag wali protestor pe comment kiya tha, if anyone can prove otherwise I will apologise.

Kangana continued to drag KJo into the conversation without any reason. Her hatred for the filmmaker is hardly a secret.
Punjabi samajh aati hai mujhe, jinhonne Delhi mein riots karvaye khoon ki nadiyaan bahae, dangge karvaye unko defend karte hue sharm nahi aati? Tujhe kya sharm aayegi, kjo kaise kaam deta hai sabko pata hai
— Kangana Ranaut (Modi Ka Parivar) (@KanganaTeam) December 3, 2020
Diljit further pointed out to Kangana that he is a Punjabi and not a “Bollywood wala” and that Bollywood invites him to do films.
Mai Das riha Tainu EH BOLLYWOOD Wale Ni PUNJAB WALE AA ..
2 Dian 4 Ni 36 Sunava Ge..
AA JAAA……. AA JAAA….
Jehda Tu DRAMA LAYA MAINU LAGDA EH PUNJAB WALE HEE KADDAN GE.. HOR KISEY TON LOT V NI AUNA TUSI… AA JAA AA JAA https://t.co/re9OepIWB5
Kangana then hit back by accusing the Punjabi singer of provoking farmers against the country.
Mera ya tumhara sahi hona zaroori nahin hai, desh ka sahi hona zaroori hai, tum log farmers ko bhatka rahe ho, pareshaan hoon main inn protests se aaye din in riots se iss khoon kharabe se, aur tum sab bhaagidaar ho ismein… remember that … https://t.co/shhe4lyM43

When one Twitter user called out the actor for insinuating that Johar offers work in exchange for sex, Kangana attacked him also.
Ha ha ha Hansal sir aap itna X rated kabse sochne lage ? Kaise kaam deta hai matlab reason could be chaploosi also na since that’s what I accused him of in previous tweets, itna innovative kaise ho gaye ? deprived ho kya itna sex sex chalta hai dimaag mein
— Kangana Ranaut (Modi Ka Parivar) (@KanganaTeam) December 3, 2020
However, Diljit did not stop and continued to school Kangana over her irresponsible statements.
@KanganaTeam – Jo Politics Karni an Karo.. Jo Poonch Hilauni An Hilavo.. Sanu Koi Matlab Ni Tere ton
SADIAN MAAVA BHENA NU BURA BHALAA KEHAN TON PHELAN TAMEEZ SIKH
Other Punjabi artists including Mika Singh and Gippy Grewal stepped in to support Diljit and voice their distaste over Kangana’s comments.
I used to have immense respect for @KanganaTeam, I even tweeted in support when her office was demolished. I now think I was wrong, Kangana being a woman you should show the old lady some respect. If you have any ettiquete then apologise. Shame on you.. pic.twitter.com/FqKzE4mLjp
Meanwhile, the Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has sent a legal notice to actor Kangana Ranaut, seeking an unconditional apology for her “derogatory” tweets against farmers and activists involved in the protest against the Centre’s farm laws. They have also requested Ranaut to remove the particular tweets.
“We have sent a legal notice to Kangana for her derogatory tweet calling the aged mother of a farmer as a woman available for Rs 100. Her tweets portray farmers protest as anti-national. We demand an unconditional apology from her for her insensitive remarks on farmers protest,” said president of DSGMC Manjinder Singh Sirsa, in a tweet.

Farmer’s Protest
Thousands of farmers have gathered at Delhi’s gateways to demand a repeal of the Centre’s three new farm laws. The protesting farmers, mainly from Punjab and Haryana as well as Uttar Pradesh, are worried the new laws will eliminate the safety cushion of a Minimum Support Price and procurement system, while rendering ineffective the mandi system that ensures earnings for various stakeholders in the farm sector.
The government has been in talks with farmer leaders to resolve the issue.
