‘Your mom still cleans your mess’: Twitter roasts Elon after mom cancels fight with Zuckerberg

Social media came to a standstill a few days ago when Twitter CEO Elon Musk announced that he would like to have a cage fight with the CEO of Facebook and Instagram, Mark Zuckerberg.
The prospect of the fight of the billionaires caused a frenzy on social media with placing bets on which tech CEO would come out succesful.

Time to forget about your bets though because ammi nay mana kardiya hai.

Elon Musk’s mother Maye Musk shut down rumors of the cage fight on her Twitter account, tweeting that instead of a physical fight, both Zuckerberg and her son should ask each other three questions instead.

How hilarious that a 52-year-old man needs his mother to counsel him on his wildest decisions. We also hope that she can encourage him to stop destroying an important app, maybe?

Elon Musk announces temporary daily tweet reading limits, prompting user complaints worldwide

According to Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, the company has recently introduced temporary restrictions on the number of tweets users can read per day. Musk stated in a tweet that unverified accounts are now limited to reading up to 600 posts daily, while verified accounts face a temporary limit of 6,000 posts per day.

Consequently, a significant number of Twitter users experienced difficulties accessing the platform on Saturday night, as reported by Downdetector, a website that tracks service outages.

Notably, the United States recorded over 7,000 reported incidents of issues with Twitter, while the United Kingdom saw over 5,000 complaints. Similar problems were reported by users in various other countries, including India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey, and Germany.

Users attempting to utilise the Twitter application or website were greeted with an error message stating “rate limit exceeded,” resulting in an absence of tweets displayed on their feed.

India agrees with Pakistan: Pasoori remake is terrible

These last two days will probably go down in history as the only time Pakistan and India combined forces to take on the urgent matter of Bollywood taking up classics and destroying them.

On Monday, T-Series released their own version of Coke Studio’s massive global hit ‘Pasoori’, giving credit solely to Ali Sethi, excluding Shae Gill and Xulfi even though they had an equal part to play in making the song what it is today.

The new version is sung by Arijit Singh, and even though for Pakistanis it’s like kisi ne dil par pathar mara hai, across the border the verdict has been announced: they can’t feel the new version either.

Jo bacha ab Pakistan Studies agay ja kar parhay ga, it wasn’t peace talks or Fawad Khan’s smolder that got India and Pakistan to unite, it was the utterly incompetent T-Series.

It’s confusing for us as well

Mubarakien maybe Pasoori can be called the song that finally united India and Pakistan together.

‘A park is supposed to open to all’: Twitter is angry at ban on entry of non-residents in DHA park

Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Karachi has shared a notification of entry procedure for Nisar Shaheed Park located in phase IV of the society. The notification read that residents can not visit the park individually, they need to be accompanied by family.

“Residents of DHA who wish to visit the park for a walk must be appropriately dressed in a sports kit or, at the very least, joggers paired with Shalwar Kameez, or pant shirt,” it added.

The last point of the notice, which is being widely criticised on social media, bars non-residents of DHA from entering the park

‘Epic’: Twitter lauds acapella group for singing song written by Muslim for Modi’s arrival at White House

Two days ago, when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the US White House, a video went viral of the all-Indian acapella group Penn Masala sang ‘Jashn-e-Bahara’ in celebration of his arrival. Many Twitter users interpreted this as a clever diss to the controversial politician over his Islamophobic government, and also as a direct response to Biden who revealed that he will not talk to the Indian Prime Minister about human right violations during his visit.

‘Jashn-e-Bahara’ is an Urdu song written by the Muslim artists A.R Rehman and Javed Akhtar, and was sung by Javed Ali. The song was featured in the film ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, a movie about the marriage between the Mughal Emperor Akbar and his Hindu wife Jodha.

Twitter users lauded this discreet but clever way to troll a secular and facist politcian, who has been criticised by American politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, who announced that they were boycotting Modi’s address to Congress, citing the politician’s abysmal human right’s record, as well as his erosion of religious freedom in India.

Some also felt that the song was an indirect target towards the Indian government’s move to remove chapters from school textbooks on Mughal rulers.

Twitter aur Facebook ki kushti? Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg serious about cage fight

    Brawl of the Billionaires?

The CEOs of the two leading social media apps, Facebook and Twitter, have reportedly decided to settle their competition with a fist fight. CEO of Twitter and Tesla, Elon Musk, suggested the idea when he responded to a user questioning him about Facebook’s plans to build a rival to the bird app. Musk, no stranger to eccentricity, asked if Facebook head Mark Zuckerberg would be ready for a cage match.

‘I’m up for a cage match if he is”, tweeted the SpaceX CEO.

Zuckerberg then shared a screenshot of the conversation on his Instagram, writing: “Send me the location”.

After a spokesperson from META seemingly confirmed that Zuckerberg was set for the billionaire brawl, Musk tweeted a sugggestion for the location: Vegas Octagon. He then stated hat he has a move called “The Walrus” where he sits on top of a person and does nothing.

While social media is wondering who could win the Brawl of the Billionaires, sports journalist Nick Peet spoke to BBC and revealed that there is a chance this fight could actually take place because of “Elon Musk and his personality and his eccentric character. His career kind of suggests he’s not somebody who willingly steps down.”

When asked about who would most probably win the fight, he said:

“Zuckerberg all day! He’s 12 years younger. He is a lot smaller. I think he’s 5ft 7, Elon’s probably around 6ft. And Elon’s probably got a couple of stone in weight on him.”

But unfortunately Mr Musk has got no training whatsoever. Even though Zuckerberg’s only been training Brazilian jiu-jitsu for 18 months, it wouldn’t be difficult for him to take his back, wrap his arms around his neck and give him a good old cuddle and choke him out!”

The two CEOs have been at odds in the past, with Musk’s response to reports that Zuckerberg was planning to launch an app that will rival Twitter, and then in an interview with conservative satire website ‘The Babylon Bee’ he slammed Metaverse:

“Am I like one of those people who was dismissing the internet [in] ’95 as some fad or something that’s never going to amount to anything? Sure you can put a TV on your nose. I’m not sure that makes you in the metaverse.”

Billionaire stepson goes to concert while father missing in titanic submarine, Cardi B says rather be poor than be like him

Was this day already not long enough that celebrities decided to step in and fire up some drama?

As the search for the missing submarine goes on, with approximately 8 hours left till the oxygen runs out, the world watches with baited breath.
However, it seems like on land there is a different sort of problem brewing up, started by the stepson of one of the missing billionaires: Brian Szasz.

Szasz, the stepson of wealthy British explorer Hamish Harding, went viral on Twitter when he was seen commenting under posts by Only Fans models, and shared pictures of himself attending a Blink 182 concert on Tuesday while reports emerged that search for the missing billionaires remained unsuccessful.

Rapper Cardi B schooled Szasz in a post on her Instagram stories, where she lamented that the son chose to spend his time at a concert, rather than remain with his family at home to wait for news.

“People is like, ‘Well, what is he supposed to do? Be sad at the house? Is he supposed to go look for himself?’ Yes.”

You supposed to be at the house sad. You supposed to be crying for me. You supposed to be right next to the phone waiting to hear any updates about me. You’re supposed to be consoling your mom and **.”

Then finally the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper slammed the step=son by saying, “Isn’t it sad that you a whole ******* billionaire and nobody gives a ** about you? […] That’s crazy. I’d rather be broke. I’d rather be broke and poor, but knowing that I’m loved.”

Szasz had responded to Cardi’s comments in a lengthy Twitter post, lamenting the rapper’s outburst.

“Cardi is trying to get clout off me and my family’s suffering. I went to a Blink-182 concert for coping rather than sitting at home and watching the news.”

The ‘WAP’ artist responded to Szasz’s comments, slamming him for searching for clout himself by publicly sharing the fact that he went to a concert, while the whole world was praying for his stepdad to come back safely.

“The point was the whole world is praying for these people in the submarine and this man son is online shaking d***s for girls off onlyfans and going to Blink 182 concerts. You was looking for clout all along, nobody knew who you were until you said that was ya stepdad!!! This is why people hate you spoiled brat billionaires yall soo desensitize.”

‘Don’t destroy a masterpiece’: Pakistani Twitter hits back after Bollywood decided to recreate Pasoori

Bollywood news outlets have announced that the massively popular Ali Sethi and Shae Gill hit ‘Pasoori’ is being remade for the upcoming film ‘Satyaprem Ka Katha’ which will star Kiara Advani and  Kartik Aaryan.

Bollywood Hungama reports that a source close to the film said:

The shoot will take place tomorrow and it will be shot in Mumbai over a period of two days. The set is being put up and the team is ready to unleash their final brahmastra in the release week. The song, Pasoori, is extremely popular in the digital world and the team is hoping to recreate the same magic.”

Since this news broke out on Twitter, Pakistani fans have slammed Bollywood for plagiarising yet another brilliant single from Pakistani singers, because kya Nach Punjaban aap logon kay liye kaafi nahi tha?

‘Dissapointing’: Netflix’s The Archies trailer has divided Twitter

Yesterday, Netflix debuted the trailer of the Zoya Akhtar venture ‘The Archies’ which is adapted from the popular comic series Archie, with Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda making their debut.

Although the trailer has already received praise from King Khan, who gushed about seeing his daughter’s debut on screen, not a lot of fans agree with him.

The internet is divided with some slamming Zoya Akhtar for white washing Indian history and choosing to make a film with actors who have nepotism connections, and others actually looking forward to Zoya’s take on the beloved comic.

Some users were criticising the film, comparing Zoya Akhtar to Karan Johar for picking people with no talent instead of actors who were struggling to find roles in the industry today.

Others had to draw out how unrealistic the portrayal of the 60s was in the film, pointing out that India in this era had a completely different style and aesthetic than what the film was portraying.

Some slammed the film for being completely white washed and not being adapted as an Indian interpretation.

A few fans were enthusiastic for another film by Zoya Akhtar, and said they were set to watch the film
