    In Afghanistan’s innings, Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s outstanding 151-run knock propelled his team to post 300-5, with a 227-run partnership alongside Ibrahim Zadran. Despite Gurbaz’s impressive display, Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah secured crucial wickets.

    Donald Trump, former US President, is a convicted sex-offender now

    Former US President Donald Trump has been found guilty of sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll by a federal Manhattan jury.

    The jury has awarded Carroll $5 million in damages.

    Carroll had alleged that Trump had raped her in the dressing room of a luxury department store in the spring of 1996. She had also claimed defamation after Trump publicly denied assaulting her, called her “not his type” and accused her of fabricating the story to push sales of her book.

    The former President has denied all wrongdoing. He will not face jail time as a result of the civil suite.

    The jury found that Trump had sexually abused her, however, Carroll could not convince the jury that she had been raped.

    Trump did not attend court proceedings as defendants are allowed to skip hearings if the case is a civil suit.

    Immediately after the verdict, Carroll called the verdict a victory for her and for other victims of sexual abuse.

    Roberta Kaplan, Carroll’s lead attorney, released a statement that said, “No one is above the law, not even a US President.”

    Police said they would thoroughly investigate Zakariya’s death before registering a case. 

    Rocket attacks, firing, and suicide bombings at various locations in Khyber district caused six casualties yesterday while several were injured. 

    Polling stations for women were also attacked in Nowshera and Buner.

    The Australian men’s cricket made history on Sunday, November 14, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium by clinching their maiden T20 World Cup title.

    The Aussie batters showcased exemplary batsmanship against a formidable Kiwi bowling attack to chase down a stiff total of 172 in the final clash.

    Mitchell Marsh starred with the bat for Australia with his unbeaten 77 and David Warner’s 53 off 38 balls helped the team down the Black Caps’ 173-run target. Marsh bagged Player of the Match award while Warner was awarded ‘Player of the Tournament’ award.

    The Rawalpindi Express was also present at the Dubai International Stadium to witness the final between the Aussies and Kiwis.

    It must be noted here that Asif led Pakistan to two back-to-back victories against New Zealand and Afghanistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup.

    After beating Namibia on Tuesday, Pakistan became the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of the ongoing mega event. Pakistan’s last match of the Super 12 stage will be against Scotland on November 7.

    Mixed martial arts (MMA) star Ahmed ‘The Wolverine’ Mujtaba destroyed India’s Rahul Raju in ONE Championship’s first round in only 56 seconds.

    The MMA fighter, who hails from Quetta and debuted in 2013, ducked an overhand right and countered his opponent with a punch of his own, finishing him in just the opening minute of their fight.

    The referee had to intervene as Raju immediately fell to the canvas and Mujtaba followed up with another strike. The Pakistani fighter’s win in the first round of One Championship — Asia’s biggest MMA promotion — took his career record to 8-2, while his Indian counterpart fell to 7-6.

    A graduate of the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), the 35-year-old’s return marks his first fight in nearly three years when he lost to China’s Jia Wen Ma.

    After March 2018, several bouts, including two with Raju and one with Eduard Folayang, were scrapped. In 2016, he toppled Singapore’s highly-rated Benedict Ang, continuing his four-year spree of wins until losing to Keanu Subba in 2017.

    Taking to Twitter, Mujtaba dedicated his victory to the people of Kashmir and his fans in Pakistan and across the world.

    “Alhumdulillah. Thankyou everyone, much love and respect. A small gift to the people of Kashmir on Kashmir day,” he wrote on Twitter.

    India handed Australia their first defeat since 1988 at Brisbane’s Gabba ground, allowing them to clinch the four-Test series 2-1 to win the Border-Gavaskar trophy on Tuesday.

    Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant starred with a swashbuckling 89 not out as the injury-depleted visitors overhauled the 328-run target with three overs to go, winning by three wickets.

    Australia had not been beaten at the Gabba since falling to Viv Richards’ all-conquering West Indies side by nine wickets in November 1988.

    Since then, Australia had played 31 test matches at The Gabba, winning 24 of them, while drawing the remaining seven.

    “Last time Australia lost a Gabba Test… George H.W. Bush had just won the US Presidential election, Bad Medicine by Bon Jovi was charting #1, Virat Kohli was 16 days old and Sachin Tendulkar was still one year away from making his Test debut,” wrote ICC on Twitter.

    India’s 329 for seven also smashed the 69-year-old record for the biggest run-chase at the Gabba, set by Australia who scored 236 for seven to beat the West Indies in 1951.

    The series win was a remarkable achievement considering India were bowled out for their lowest Test score of 36 to lose the first Test in Adelaide, before bouncing back to win the second in Melbourne.

    The visitors, ravaged by injuries and captain Virat Kohli’s absence for paternity leave, then batted throughout the final day to draw the third Test in Sydney.

    “It really means a lot to us. I don’t know how to describe this victory but I’m really proud of all the boys,” said India’s interim skipper Ajinkya Rahane. “They showed character, attitude, especially after the Adelaide Test match. We decided we’re going to fight really hard and we just wanted to give our best.”

    Man-of-the-match Pant, who played a similar innings in the drawn Sydney Test, blasted his 89 from 138 balls with nine fours and a six.

    His innings followed an equally impressive knock from 21-year-old Shubman Gill, who made 91 at the top of the order earlier in the day.

    Before the latest match, India had played six test matches at The Gabba, losing five of them with one draw. In their seventh outing on the ground, they managed to beat Australia and with this win, India moved to the top of the ICC World Test Championship ranking list.

    Meanwhile, Kohli congratulated the team and the board on their historic win.
