After the proposal of the year, Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain are all set to have the wedding of the year.
According to the very fun and quirky wedding card shared by the couple on their respective social media handles, the two will be tying the knot on December 28 in an afternoon wedding. The official wedding hashtag is #IqYasirDaViyah.
Though we have no information about who is going to be on the guest list, but we’re assuming there are going to be A LOT of people from the industry.
Iqra and Yasir have been very public about their affection for one another and have almost always been spotted together. The two will also be appearing in two projects together: drama serial Jhooti and a feature film expected to release on Eid-ul-Fitr 2020.
Iqra Aziz threw a big birthday bash for fiancé Yasir Hussain with all their industry friends in presence. She also publicly displayed her affection by penning a short sweet note for her “Superhero” on Instagram.

A few days back, it was Iqra’s birthday and Yasir also celebrated it with a bang and a unicorn cake.
Actor Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain are engaged and have yet to announce their wedding date but speculations have already started into what they are going to wear.
In their latest photoshoot for one of their favourite designers, Ali Xeeshan, both look regal and heavily adorned in Mughal style looks.
Xeeshan’s collection is called Prem Nagar and Yasir posted a picture of Iqra and himself on his Instagram.
Fans of the couple are saying that they duo looks like they are leaning towards a more Deepika-Ranveer look rather than keeping it simple like Anuskha-Virat.
Deepika was wearing heavy, traditional jewelry and Ranveer was no less.

Anushka Sharma, on the other hand, had kept her wedding look simple, with almost no makeup but covered in jewels.

While Hamza Ali Abbasi has tied the knot with Naimal Khawar, we are still waiting for the other two celebrity couples – Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly; Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain – to announce when they will be saying their ‘qubool hais’.
Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain’s very public engagement at the Lux Style Awards had created quite a stir when it happened. A few weeks later, people finally got over it and moved on. Magar hua kuch yoon, keh eik aur twist aagaya. Turns out, the couple had been formally betrothed a long time ago and pictures from the event have finally surfaced on social media, sending fans into a frenzy once again.
It all started when Iqra’s sister, Sidra shared a photo of the couple from what appears to be an intimate engagement ceremony. Fans began to speculate that the engagement happened in February because Iqra had posted pictures of herself in the same dress and styling as in the picture below. Yasir also sported a beard, which he had removed for his play Naach Na Jaane.

Needless to say, that led people to comment that the LSA engagement was staged by the couple as a publicity stunt. And it turns out that the fans were right. About the February part, not the engagement or publicity one.
Because a few hours later, Yasir took to Instagram to share that the pictures were from the couple “baat paaki” ceremony which was an intimate family affair. He said that according to him the engagement happens when rings are exchanged and those were exchanged in front of the whole world at LSA 2019. He said Iqra had no idea about the proposal and that he doesn’t care what the world has to say because he’s happy and in love.

Following Yasir’s post, best man Asad Siddiqui also shared a picture with the couple from a private event they did to celebrate. Asad’s post also came with a note in which he requested everyone to think before passing comments on someone’s special moment.
You have to be living under a rock if you don’t know about Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz’s very public engagement. Yasir proposed to his long-time alleged beau during the Lux Style Awards which means thousands of people were watching him get down on one knee. Like NBD.
Anyways, Yasir’s very public proposal has the whole country divided. While romantics are loving Yasir’s public display of affection, others are hating on the couple for being too public with their romance.
Hamza Ali Abbasi who likes to comment on all matters under the sun also had a few words to share. Taking to Twitter, his favourite social media platform, Abbasi defended Iqra and Yasir and congratulated them on getting engaged. Quoting verses from the Quran, Hamza requested people to not judge the two and instead appreciate them for wanting to opt the halal route i.e. nikkah.

We have to agree with Hamza’s stance here. Just because you disagree with someone doesn’t mean you have to resort to name-calling or being rude to them. Cyberbullying is real and has detrimental effects on a person’s health. Just a few days ago, Iqra opened up on being bullied online and the negative effects it has on a person’s mental health.
Meanwhile, other celebrities including Mahira Khan and Gohar Rasheed congratulated Iqra on social media.

Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain’s relationship is an open secret. The two may not have officially confirmed their relationship but their Instagram profiles and stories make this fact pretty evident. In fact, the couple was recently on a vacation in Thailand from where they posted daily updates.
Iqra and Yasir were now recently spotted hanging out at designer Ali Xeeshan’s studio and history is proof that all celebrity marriages are subtly announced with spottings at designers studios.
Fans also seem to think the two are getting married.
However, there were some others who commented that the duo is probably getting their wardrobes sorted out for the upcoming awards ceremonies including the Lux Style Awards and Hum Awards.
