Usama Khan, the hero of Pakistani film Nayab, has revealed how rumors about his engagement with co-star Zainab Shabbir spread.
He recently appeared on Nida Yasir’s Good Morning show.
Talking about the rumors of his engagement with co-star Zainab Shabbir during the show, he said, “The rumors of me and Zainab’s engagement were spread due to a misunderstanding by the anchor of the show.”
Nida admitted that the rumors were spread because of her mistake. “I congratulated them on their engagement on the show, but later I found out the truth,” she confessed.
Once Nida Yasir finished speaking, Usama Khan added, “Everyone in the industry was also convinced that Zainab and I were engaged, but I denied the rumors myself.”
He continued, “I told everyone that I am not engaged, but I am looking for a girl.”
He jokingly added, “If there is a girl watching the show now who is interested in me, she can also contact me.”
Actress and model Zainab Shabbir, the talented newcomer in the drama industry quickly, has won the hearts of viewers with her versatile performances.
During an appearance on Mazaq Raat she told host Imran Ashraf about the inspiration behind her journey in the entertainment industry.
During the interview the host asked, “In your life now, by the grace of Allah, you haven’t experienced hunger closely?” The Fareb actress said, “Allah has always been there for us, and my mother did her best to raise us well, but yes, we have seen hard times, seen bad days.” The host asked, “Was there a moment when you decided that no matter what happens, you will change the fate of your family?”
Zainab Shabbir replied, “Yes, there was a very difficult day. You know, I had never seen my mother cry before. She was always such a strong woman, never expressing that she was sad or going through any trouble. Even today, she remains the same. But on that day, I saw tears in my mother’s eyes, and I thought to myself, no, this isn’t right. I have to do something about this. That day, I realized it was time to take action. And from then on, Allah has been with me.”
Zainab Shabbir starred in dramas such as Maa Sadqay, Sanwari, Yaar Na Bichray, Muskhil and Nikah.
Actor Usama Khan took to his Instagram stories to clarify about his love life after netizens speculated an affair between him and his Aik Sitam Aur costar Anmol Baloch.
The Ishq Jalebi star stated: “My family will never allow me to date anyone. [Those are] my family values, & I have few friends in this industry. “DATE” isn’t a nice word. I’ll [be better] nikkahfied [than] dating anyone. I have never discussed my personal life with any colleague because I don’t want to. I am here to work. Please stop commenting about anyone’s personal life. I am still [surprised]. How can ANY XYZ with zero knowledge comment on anyone’s personal life?”
After Usama and Anmol’s recent interview with a digital magazine, netizens started speculating that the two are real life lovers. Earlier there were strong stories about Usama’s relationship with actress Zainab Shabir.
The two collaborated for the first time on HUM TV’s Sanwari where the sparks flew between them. The dynamic duo went onto work together in an episode Geo’s Dikhawa and ARY’s Mere Apne.
The duo even made their relationship Instagram official by frequent comments on each other’s pictures.
