Pakistan’s 15-member squad for the first Test against England has been announced on Tuesday. The players included in the national test squad withdrew from the Champions Cup.
Nauman Ali has been included in the national squad instead of Khurram Shahzad as he could not regain fitness.
On the other hand, Kamran Ghulam and Muhammad Ali were not included in the 15-member squad.
Fast bowler Amir Jamal has returned to the national Test squad, while Abdullah Shafiq also managed to retain his place.
Young Mohammad Huriara has also been included.
The squad for the first Test includes Shan Masood, Saud Shakeel, Amir Jamal, Abdullah Shafiq, Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Mir Hamza, Muhammad Huriara, Muhammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Nouman Ali, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Shaheen Afridi.
Selected players will assemble in Multan on September 30, while the national team camp will start on October 1 in Multan.
