Clips from an old interview of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan are making the rounds on social media. In the interview, the Race actor was asked about his favourite film, his favourite actress and his hobbies amongst other topics.
One particular clip in which the actor was asked about his favourite poets has gone viral on social media with people appreciating Saif for his honest answer.
“Faiz and Ghalib… I am talking totally rubbish. Meri dadi padti thi, mere abba padte the. Ye koi umar hai in cheezon ko padne ka (My grandmother and my dad used to read them. Is this my age to read such things)?” replied Saif when asked about his favourite poets.

Sonya Hussyn has thrashed the writer of Mere Paas Tum Ho and Sadqay Tumharay, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar for his problematic statements about women and his professional associations.
The Saraab star appeared on Geo News’ sports show, Jashan-e-Cricket hosted by Shahzad Iqbal. When the host asked Sonya about her opinion on Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan’s slap incident with PPP MNA Qadir Khan Mandokhail,
She said: “When you appear on TV then you have some responsibility to behave well. If someone deserves it then it’s alright but one should not disrespect women, for instance Khalil Sahab disrespected women. When you are on a media platform then you should keep your personal views aside and talk responsibly.”
Khalil had earlier claimed that he never offered the role of the female lead in his blockbuster drama to Sonya, and nor did he ever want to cast her in the show as he believes she doesn’t have the caliber of being in his play. While the Aangan actress has claimed that she was offered Ayeza’s character in the play but she had turned it down because she can’t tolerate women being shown in a bad light in dramas.
Sonya revealed that Khalil did approach her in the past and still does. She added that he has no rights of casting as he is just a writer.
But Khalil refuted her claim and stated that Sonya was making a false claim on being offered the role. He further added that it was impossible to cast her in the play because he would have refused it outright.

Abdul Malik, a Karachi citizen had done his aeronautical engineering degree from a Chinese university but now he is forced to sell juice in Pakistan as he could not find a suitable job.
As per details, he had his schooling from the United Arab Emirates. Later on, he did his bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from a Chinese University.
After coming back to Pakistan he got a chance to intern at the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra, followed by a job as a trainee engineer at the Peshawar Flying Club. He also worked as an assistant ramp officer at a private company for a few years.
But even after having a good qualification and experience, he could neither find a suitable job nor a fair salary.
Talking to Geo News, Abdul Malik said that he applied to every aviation-related company for a job but he never got a positive response from anywhere.
“I think I had to face a setback because there was no one to refer me,” said Abdul Malik, who is also fluent in five languages, including Urdu, English, Chinese, Pushto, and Arabic.
Finally Abdul Malik decided to sell watermelon juice as he had no other to make ends meet.
“I stayed jobless for six months before trying to sell juice. But once I started, it became an instant hit and people started loving it,” he said. “I think my career and future have been destroyed.”
Expressing his disappointment, Abdul Malik said that he would throw away his degrees and certificates because they have been of no use because of the system.

Indian music composer, Anu Malik slapped himself multiple times during an audition of the music reality show, Indian Idol 11.
The video shows Malik slapping himself multiple times expressing his displeasure during an audition. A contestant left Malik and other judges, Neha Kakkar and Vishal Daldani in shock with his off-key singing.
While Anu slapped himself, Neha was in splits and Vishal put his hand on his head and gasped. The contestant stopped to drink water as he sang, Bulleya from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil loudly.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday appreciated an Islamabad traffic police officer, Qaiser Shakeel, for performing his duties despite sustaining injuries.
The police officer, according to the Prime Minister Office (PMO), had sustained injuries on June 9 but he reported to work on June 11, after taking only two days off.
