Indian media is abuzz that Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda are the new lovebirds in the town.
Suhana and Agastya, who met on the sets of The Archies, have been spending some quality time together before they make it official. Well, after seeing Suhana attending annual Kapoor Christmas lunch, we can totally connect the dots now.
A source close to the rumoured hot couple revealed to Hindustan Times, “They would spend a lot of time together and were not even trying to hide their bond. While they don’t plan to make it official yet, most people in the production house learned about their bond in August 2022,” the source says, adding that Agastya’s mum, Shweta Bachchan, “loves” Suhana and “approves of the relationship”.
Not only that, the source also revealed Agastya has even introduced Suhana Khan as his ‘partner; to all the family members.
It’s horrifying to witness how the state of victim blaming and misogyny is deeply steeped within the minds of Pakistani men, that even little children aren’t spared from the mercy of trolls. Women aren’t born as products to fulfill the needs of the patriarchy, and its not the fault of a literal child, if a grown man cannot seem to see her as anything but a sexual object.
Armeena Khan was quick to school trolls who shamed her for simply uploading a video of her husband giving her baby a shower. Any other person would find this endearing on how fathers are adapting to taking care of children, but Pakistani men, for whom witnessing love and affection is odd and out of form, made a completly different interpretation of what was going on.
Soon after this video was posted, Khan shared this post where the user was shaming a literal infant for not adorning pardah before her father. The actress was quick to remind the trolls that her daughter wasn’t supposed to feel insecure and terrified around her father, and called out the dirty mind who peddle this misogynist mindset.
“Baby is literally a few days old, wtf is wrong with you disgusting people! He’s her FATHER! Dirty thoughts dirty people!”
This is the sad result of championing misgoynist beliefs in a country like Pakistan, that even a father taking responsibility of his child is considered odd, or even could spark hateful comments. Fathers are not baby sitters, or even temporary care takers, it is their responsibility to take their of their own children. As this user reccounted to Armeena that her own husband helps their daughter around the house when she’s not around, the actress reminded the woman that this is how fathers are supposed to be.
“He’s supposed to my love, he’s your fathers first Mehram. This is what happens when people conflate religion with culture. This culture is dirty and needs to change hoenstly.”
It is no surprise that Pakistan landed on the fourth spot in the list of most dangerous countries for women in 2021, because even an infant that is three days old isn’t spared from moral policing and sexual objectification from trolls. This entire spectacle has really taught us how difficult it is for women to exist freely on the internet, because we need to keep fighting back against attempts to shame or sexually objectify us. But its wonderful to see Armeena Khan setting an example, and reminding the mediocre minds of Pakistani men that women do not exist for their pleasure solely.
Actor Sarah Khan recently appeared on Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik’s chat show, The Mirza Malik Show where the Sabaat star revealed that she doesn’t like dancing due to several reasons.
Sarah said that she has refused several offers to dance on-screen, even when she has been forced to do so. Khan said that she doesn’t feel comfortable dancing because she is too shy.
Although she danced at her wedding, she never did it again.
Khan has revealed that she refused to work in her husband and singer Falak Shabir’s music video as a model. Sarah and Falak recently appeared and talked about several interesting topics. During the conversation, Falak told the host that Sarah refused to feature in one of his videos because she had to dance in it which she cannot do.
Sarah then said that she does not like to dance because she experiences extreme shyness and finds it difficult to dance even in a private setting. She ultimately declined the music video despite Falak’s repeated requests.
Last year when a netizen commented under Falak’s post that he saved a female model’s fee by featuring alongside the Raqs-e-Bismil diva in this music video. The Roag singer clapped back at him by revealing that In fact, Sarah charged more than him for the song.
Edward Norton, who starred as the “genius” tech billionaire Miles Bron in the film ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ was a guest at the PBS genealogical history show ‘Finding Your Roots’ where the actor discovered that the real-life Pocahontas was his 12th grandmother.
Pocohontas was a Native American who had welcomed English settlers into Virginia in the early 1600’s. Later, she was kidnapped and taken to England where she married tobacco planter John Rolfe in 1614 and converted to Christianity. She died there.
According to the host and historian Henry Louis Gates Jr, a paper trail directly led to connecting Norton to his 12th great grandmother Pocahontas and great- grandfather John Rolfe. He further revealed that Pocahontas had died around 1617, while Rolfe had passed away in March 1622.
On this revelation, Norton had remarked that he was quite astonished.
‘It just makes you realize what a small … piece of the whole human story you are.’
The show also revealed to Edward Norton that his third great-grandfather, John Winstead, owned a family of slaves, which included a 55 year old man, a 37 year old woman, and five young girls whose ages were between 4 and 10.
To this, Norton confessed that he had researched his own history before coming on the show, and realizing that his family had owned slaves was something that was quite uncomfortable for him.
‘The short answer is these things are uncomfortable. And you should be uncomfortable with them. It’s not a judgment on you in your own life but it’s a judgment on the history of this country and it needs to be acknowledged first and foremost and then it needs to be contended with. When you read ‘Slave, age 8′, you just want to die.’
Love is brewing between Bollywood actors Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia, as the duo was spotted indulging in PDA on their Goa vacation during the New Year’s evening. Videos of them ringing in the New Year with kisses are going viral on social media.
For the New Year’s Eve 2023 party, Tamannaah wore a pink dress, whereas Vijay donned a white shirt and pants. The duo clicked pictures with fans too. In viral videos, people were doing a countdown to midnight to celebrate the New Year wherein Vijay and Tamannaah gave each other a kiss.

Veteran comedians Naseem Vicky and Qaiser Piya narrowly escaped a car accident. They were reportedly on their way to Faisalabad to perform in a theatre show. The artists avoided the mishap but advised their fans to refrain from traveling in foggy weather.
Although some social media handles falsely reported that the artists got injured, the comedian duo is safe and sound.

Actor Yasir Hussain recently made an appearance on Hasna Mana Hai hosted by Tabish Hashmi. On being asked for clarification about his statement that senior actor Naumaan Ijaz should quit acting.
The Aik Thi Laila star clarified that once he was talking to Naumaan Ijaz about how hosts ask guests questions like who should leave acting and he just does not want to name anybody. To this, the Raqeeb Se star told Yasir that he can take his name whenever such a question pops up. Ijaz also assured him that he wouldn’t be offended and that is why Yasir took Naumaan Ijaz’s name.
Last year when Hussain was featured in an episode of The Talk Talk Show, hosted by Hassan Choudary, he revealed that he doesn’t want to work with Ahsan Khan.
He said, “I suppose Ahsan Khan finds me dull. Please do ask him why he finds working with me boring.” He claims that I am uninteresting, despite the fact that I am fond of him.
In 2017, Ahsan called out Yasir for his joke about his role in Udaari, while recording an award show skit.
“I worked very hard in Udaari, I risked my career by playing the role of a child molester, just so the entire team of Udaari could spread awareness about it. So at the HUM awards, when Yasir Hussain made that remark I honestly felt bad, more so at the audience from the educated class that was laughing with him.”
He further added, “The character of Imtiaz is not a joke. Ehtesham worked so hard on this project and you cannot just associate the sensitivity of the topic with a joke. But as hurt as I was, one thing I would like to say is that Yasir called me to apologize and he has also issued a public apology.

Earlier this year, Yasir opened up about his spat with actress Hira Tareen on Wajahat Rauf’s chat show. The Jhooti star was asked about actress Hira Tareen’s statement recently about him and his craft, Yasir said that he doesn’t even know her at all.
The Koel director stated that all he knows about her is that she is his friend’s spouse and even if she abuses him on the road, he’ll not react.
In November 2021, the celebrity couple Ali Safina and Hira Tareen, who tied the knot back in 2013, made an appearance on Time Out on Ahsan Khan.
The Khaas star declared her dislikeness for actor and writer Yasir Hussain.

Actors Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting, who starred in the 1968 film Romeo and Juliet, have filed a suit against Paramount Pictures for child abuse and exploitation. Both Hussey and Whiting starred in the film when they were 15 and 16 years old respectively, winning Golden Globes for their performance.
According to the suit filed in Santa Monica last week, the actors said that a bedroom scene in the filmed with both actors in the nude while their breasts and buttocks were visible. They have said that this amounts to child exploitation. The suit followed with the revelation that the film’s director Franco Zeffireli, who died in 2019, had pressurized both actors into performing the scene, warning them that otherwise ‘the film would fail’. The director had promised both his leads that there would be no nude scenes and both actors would be covered by flesh-colored underwear.
“Defendants were dishonest and secretly filmed the nude or partially nude minor children without their knowledge, in violation of the state and federal laws regulating indecency and exploitation of minors for profit,” the suit has alleged.
The statement further revealed how both actors, who are now in their 70’s, suffered mental and emotional anguish in the five and a half decades since the film’s release, and did limited effort to progress their careers.
The actors representative, Solomon Gresen, spoke with AFP about how Paramount Pictures had participated in sexual exploitation of the children, since both actors were under 16 years old and their nude scenes were visible in the film.
“(Paramount) have images that they know are images of underage nudity that should be removed from the film. That would be the beginning for sure. Sexually explicit images of children are bad and they shouldn’t be tolerated. If they were under 16, then they’re under 16. It’s a sexually explicit image of an underage person, it should be forbidden.”

As Mahira Khan had put it in a recent interview: “Because we’re artists, we are connected by that thread of art, we actually get each other.”
Recently, Saboor and Sajal Aly’s brother Muhammad Ali bumped into Bollywood actress and model Sushmita Sen, and asked her to send a message to his sisters, which he later uploaded on his Instagram story.
In the video clip, Sen was seen sending her love to the actors and also lauded their acting skills:
