Cricket veteran Abdul Razzaq spilled the beans on his ex-flame Deedar whom he dated almost two decades ago. The sports star confirmed that he was seeing Deedar and wanted to take his relationship with the beautician and dancer to the next stage but her career became a major hindrance.
He recently stated in an interview that, “We became friends in 1999, and I didn’t promise her that I’d marry her, I had told her that we will decide with time. We were friends, and as for marriage, I had asked her for six months to make a final decision.”
Talking to host Shoaib Jatt on the show ‘Bouncer’, he stated that he wanted her to leave stage performances and the career of a dancer if she wants to marry him.
“She used to say that I can’t leave my career activities like stage dramas etc, so I told her that it would be hard for me to marry her owing to my family background.”
The former cricketer is married to Ayesha Razzaq while Deedar has been married to Hamza Bhatti since 2012.

Malala, known for her activism for women empowerment and education, urged young women to believe in themselves.
In an interview with Sky Sports, she stated that women should never be discouraged from playing sports on the basis of their gender.
“Even today, when we see women cricket players playing in this stadium, they are sending a message to all girls out there that they can be in sports, they can be players, they can play any sport they want,” Malala stated in the video interview.
She added that we already have multiple women role models who are changing history and sports are no exception.
Malala expressed hope that we don’t limit women from dreaming – she encouraged girls to give it a try and “go for it” if they enjoy it.
The Noble Peace prize winner is known for human rights advocacy, especially the education of women and children in her native Swat Valley, where the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan had at times, banned girls from attending school.

Star actress Yumna Zaidi trended on Twitter for her impressive performance in the finale episode of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahi.

Featuring Yumna Zaidi, Yasra Rizvi, Wahaj Ali, Nadia Afgan, Naumaan Ijaz, Samiya Mumtaz, and Omair Rana in the lead, Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahi is a harrowing tale of child abuse and human trafficking in Pakistan. Although drama is critically acclaimed, it’s television ratings are considerably low.
Directed by Kashif Nisar, the script is written by Amna Mufti of Jahez fame.

Apart from the Pyar Ke Sadqay star’s performance, her chemistry with co-star Wahaj Ali was also appreciated.

She played a challenging character of a sex worker in the play and even enacted scenes where she had to emote as a drug addict.

A bride in Muzaffargarh refused to go with the groom because three fingers of the groom’s hand were cut off.
As per reports, the incident took place in the Chowk Sarwar Shaheed area of Muzaffargarh.
Majid tied the knot with Shabana but at the time of rukhsati, the bride refused to go with the groom because of the groom’s missing fingers.

The bride’s father said that the groom’s hand did not have three fingers, which we got to know about just now.
Despite hours of waiting and requests, the bride did not agree to go with the groom and the groom’s family returned home after waiting for 5 hours.
Punjab Prisons Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan has responded to the allegations against the Punjab government of giving 1.5 year remission to Shah Hussain, the man convicted of stabbing Khadija Siddiqi.
Shah Hussain did not receive any “legal remission” from the government but had actually availed “technical remissions”, said Chohan.
As per a document shared by Chohan, Shah has gotten remission on the following basis:
Earlier, Khadija took to Twitter and accused the Punjab government of granting, “extraordinary REMISSION of 1.5 years.”
In another tweet, Khadija tagged Punjab Prisons Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan and wrote: “You are responsible for allowing early release of my attacker.”
Siddiqi was stabbed 23 times on a busy Lahore street while she was picking her six-year-old sister from school on May 3, 2016. Shah Hussain is the son of a senior Lahore High Court lawyer.

Veteran Pakistani writer Haseena Moin, who passed away in March 2021 has innumerable literary contributions to the Pakistani drama industry. Be it the cult classic Tanhaiyan or Dhoop Kinaray, her small screen marvels have broken popularity records.
In 1997, when the sociopolitical terms of Indo-Pak were better, the countries collaborated for a joint production drama serial. Haseena wrote the script of the hit seriel Tanha starring Marina Khan and Sajid Hassan who went to India for the drama’s shoot that aired on Star Plus.
Tanha did exceptionally well commercially and the Indian audiences enjoyed the realistic execution and inspiring storytelling on television. The title track of the project was written and composed by renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar.

As per details, the cast of the project includes veterans Marina Khan and Sajid Hassan, among several Indian artists namely Aasif Sheikh, Anang Desai, Milind Soman, and Tanaaz Irani. Unlike regular dramas, Tanha was shot in multiple cities of India including Aligarh and Lucknow. The forty episodes family drama had a successful run of two years on Star Plus from 1997 to 1999.
The veteran writer also wrote a play for Doordarshan called Kash-m-kash, Arshad Mahmood composed its OST and Tina Sani sang it. The series starred Javed Jaffery ad Aly Khan in key roles.

Noor Mukadam left her house at 9:15pm on Sunday (July 18) and reached Zahir’s house at 10pm. Noor called her driver Khalil the next morning (Monday, July 19) at 9.50am and asked him to arrange Rs700,000 and bring it to Zahir Jaffer’s house, reports Geo News.
As per Geo News, the driver told Noor that he could not arrange such a large sum of money. Noor told him that it was important that he brings it and asked him to take it from a friend or arrange it from his acquaintances. However, Khalil said that he could only arrange Rs300,000.
“When I called Noor, she said she can’t come out and that I hand over the money to the cook,” her driver told Geo. He then handed the money over to the cook.
As per Express Tribune, a senior police officer said that there was no confirmation of the money being withdrawn from the victim’s account, from her home, or from any other relatives.
The driver also revealed to Geo News that when Noor called him for the first time, she told to inform her parents that she was going to Lahore.
When Khalil went inside the house to inform Noor’s parents, her mother was already talking about the same thing with her husband. Noor’s father was asking why she was going to Lahore when it was Eid the next day, the driver said.
He added that after hearing the conversation between Noor’s parents, he realised they already knew what Noor had asked him to tell them and so he left without saying anything.
According to the investigating sources, Noor was in touch with her mother. Noor also spoke to her mother over the phone the day she was murdered.
When Geo News contacted the police about the driver’s statement and asked about a possible kidnapping and ransom, they replied that the case is under investigation.
