    Singer Aima Baig is currently riding high on the success of her song for PSL 7, Agay Dekh. The Balma Bhagora crooner revealed in a resurfaced interview that she was offered Indian reality show Bigg Boss’s 13 via a phone call from the makers.

    She disclosed that she immediately refused the offer as she didn’t want to be a target on the show.

    The Sajna Ve diva mentioned that although it would have been fun for the audience to see her locked inside the Bigg Boss House, but for herself, it could have been a risky experience.

    Aima Baig candidly revealed on The Munshi Show , that she was approached to be a part of the Bigg Boss season 13 in 2019 but she rejected the offer as she didn’t know how her fans would react to it.

    Bigg Boss season13 is the most successful season of the show till date.

    Previously, Veena Malik and Ali Saleem a.k.a Begum Nawazish Ali have been featured on the show and both got stuck with their fair share of controversies.

    Content creator and actor Rahim Pardesi has been making netizens speculate about the status of his second marriage with Somia after his recent posts.

    The Baari star recently posted a family picture sans Somia and their son, which sparked speculations by the netizens.

    Rahim chose to ignore his fans’ queries and questions regarding his second wife and her disappearance.

    Somia has also deactivated her social media accounts.

    Earlier in May 2021, the YouTuber shared that his wife almost died due to a doctor’s negligence at a private hospital. Pardesi said that he made the video to highlight how doctors and big hospitals mistreat patients.

    In a video titled ‘My wife almost died,’ Pardesi and his wife Somia detailed their painful experience of childbirth and how Somia almost died due to doctors negligence.

    The couple revealed that the doctor first kept insisting on Somia to have a Cesarean delivery. When the child was delivered naturally via normal delivery, the doctors left five sponges inside her body.

    They later removed the video.

    PTI MNA and television host Aamir Liaquat has taken a jibe at his ex-wife Bushra Aamir for his son’s ‘mind creation’. The Aalim Online star slammed her over his son Ahmed’s surname.

    Earlier after the news of Aamir’s third marriage went viral, Bushra took to her Instagram handle and shared her thoughts over the recent development. The PTI MNA and popular host have two children with his first wife, Syeda Bushra.

    Recently Aamir’s other former spouse, Tuba Anwar, dismissed Aamir’s statement regarding Tuba still being his wife according to him, she took to her Instagram handle to clarify the misconceptions.

    Responding to the statement by Liaquat, Tuba said: “I wish to reiterate that I chose to divorce my ex-husband through the court system, as per my constitutional right as a Pakistani citizen.” She added that the divorce was granted by the honourable court in accordance with the Pakistani laws. 

    Two weeks after the announcement of his third marriage, Liaquat said that “Tuba is still his wife and she can come back if she wishes to”.

    “I still respect her and she is still my wife, however, she considers the marriage as null and void,” he added. 

    On the other hand, Liaquat’s third wife Syeda Dania Shah has stated in her recent interview: “I would accept Tuba if she comes back. I’ll consider [her] as my elder sister.”

    Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry advised Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari to watch previous videos of his late mother, Benazir Bhutto, to learn how to conduct a long march.

    “Bilawal must go through the videos of previous long marches held by (late) Benazir Bhutto to learn how such rallies are conducted.”

     “We first want them [Opposition] to get tired by holding this march, then we will make our next move,” said Fawad.

    Rejecting the claims of the Opposition, Fawad said that the relief package announced by Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan a day earlier was not an attempt to woo voters ahead of the 2023 general elections.

    “We just made adjustments to our existing budget to facilitate our middle class. Previously, we had given targeted subsidies to extremely poor segment.”

    Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is waiting for a response from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif.

    Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) delegation led by Sirajul Haq, visited the residence of the Chaudhrys of Gujrat in Lahore to see Hussain. PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi was not present.

    During the meeting, Hussain said, “We asked Shehbaz Sharif some questions during a discussion on the proposed no-confidence movement, but the answers are still awaited,” reports Dawn.

    It was also reported that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the top leadership of PML-Q had a meeting, in which the Chaudhry brothers presented their Charter of Demands to former President Asif Ali Zardari.

    The PML-Q has asked the Opposition for the Chief Ministership in Punjab and stated that no compromise will be made on anything less than that.

    In case of getting Chief Ministership, the PML-Q has assured the success of in-house transformation in Punjab and Centre. The PML-Q has said that it will fully support the Opposition at the Centre.

    In February, Shehbaz went to Chaudhrys residence where the leaders of the two rival parties met each other for a formal political meeting after a gap of about 14 years.

    PM Khan is scheduled to meet the PML-Q leadership during his daylong visit to Lahore today.

    Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has contacted disgruntled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen after the politician left Pakistan for the United Kingdom, said Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mahmood Qureshi, reports Geo News.

    “The prime minister was informed that Jahangir Tareen was unwell,” Qureshi said.

    Qureshi said PM Khan had called the PTI leader to inquire about his health as he left for London for a medical check-up.

    It was earlier reported that Tareen spent a week in a private hospital in Lahore and would spend a week in London.

    PM Khan is scheduled to meet Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid’s (PML-Q) Chaudhry brothers during his daylong visit to Lahore today.

    Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will be making a “big announcement” in an address to the nation today (Monday), said Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

    Qureshi said, “I think he is going to make a very big announcement,” further advising people to “be ready” since the prime minister will “open his heart and talk frankly”.

    The minister further shared that the PM will address the nation at 6pm today.

    Taking to Twitter, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said that the premier will take the nation into confidence over Pakistan’s economy and the global challenges the country faces amid the ongoing Ukraine crisis.

    Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak on Sunday said, “The prime minister will address the nation and announce Rs10 reduction in petroleum prices, and a Rs5 cut per unit in the electricity rates, along with several other measures.”

    Multan Sultans’ skipper Mohammad Rizwan has been named as captain of the Team of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 7, which was selected by the members of the commentary team.

    Rizwan, who was adjudged player of the tournament, is one of the four Multan Sultans players who has been selected. The other three are: Rilee Rossouw, Tim David and Khushdil Shah.

    Lahore Qalandars, who won their maiden title with a 42-run victory over the Sultans, is also represented by four players – Fakhar Zaman, Rashid Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Zaman Khan. While Peshawar Zalmi (Shoaib Malik), Islamabad United (Shadab Khan) and Quetta Gladiators (Naseem Shah) have one player each.

    No player from Karachi Kings, the side that lost nine matches in the seventh edition, was shortlisted.

    Under Rizwan, Multan Sultans won 10 matches out of 11 played in the PSL 2022 and were the favourites to defend the trophy.

    Not only this but Rizwan has also been named Player of PSL 2022 award. He also bagged the Wicket-keeper of PSL 2022 award. In 12 matches, he accounted for nine batters behind the stumps.

    In the 12-member squad, the top-four batters are from four different sides, while Sultans dominate the middle-order, Qalandars provide the bowling firepower.
