Tiktoker Bhola arrested for allegedly raping, filming woman in Lahore, Nabeel Qureshi blasts

Ghalib Market police in Lahore have lodged a case against social media sensation Nabeel Akram aka Bhola Record under section 376 on the complaint of a victim.

Shaista Talib, a resident of Lahore, said that Nabeel called her to a private hotel and sexually assaulted her. Further investigations are underway in light of the victim’s statements.

Bhola Record denied all allegations in a video clip in which he can be seen talking to another person about the incident.

Akram, who achieved fame through indecent videos with girls in a foreign country, said the whole matter is a failed attempt to defame him.

Sharing his side of the story, Nabeel said the complainant earlier hurled such allegations about Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid and controversial personality Mufti Qavi.

He added that he never forced or blackmailed the woman to meet him, she wanted to marry me, he said. ‘Bhola Record’ mentioned that he filmed some videos with her during the stay at the private accommodation facility.

The case is the second in a row as earlier ‘Bhola Record’ was apprehended by police for raping another girl back in 2018. The complainant, who was a resident of Wazirabad, said Nabeel lured him for a job and sexually assaulted her at his residence.

A-list director Nabeel Qureshi took to his Instagram stories and lashed out at the TikToker.

Nabeel is currently gearing up for his forthcoming biggie Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad starring Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan.

Speaking to The Current, Nabeel had shared that the film will be a satirical action-comedy, something along the lines of their previous film Actor in Law. Fahad had said that the film will feature action sequences that have never been tried before in Pakistan and that he performed all the stunts himself.

“We have tried to pull off Mission Impossible type stuff in Pakistan with Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad,” said the actor. “I endured multiple injuries while performing these stunts. My heel was injured throughout the course of filming and I couldn’t even walk properly but still, I did all the stunts myself and no double was used.”

Fawad accuses Opposition of offering bribe to three PTI MNAs to remove PM Khan

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday claimed that three Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNAs had been offered bribes to support the Opposition’s plan to remove Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.

“Three of our MNAs including a minority and a woman member have reported that they have been offered money to give a vote in support of a no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan,” said Fawad in a press conference after attending PTI’s Central Executive Committee’s (CEC) meeting in Islamabad.

The minister vowed that the ruling party will not allow anybody to “revive the culture of horse-trading in the country.”

The allegation from the information minister comes as the Opposition gears up to move a no-confidence motion against PM Imran.

Earlier today, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) President Maulana Fazlur Rehman visited Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif at his residence upon Sharif’s invitation for a lunch.

Sharif had invited Fazl along with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari to the lunch, to discuss the current political situation and the no-confidence motion against the incumbent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

It is being reported that Fazl will visit the Chaudhry brothers’ residence in Gulberg, Lahore for dinner today.

Pakistan’s wicket-keeper-batter and captain of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans has requested his fans to remember the team in their prayers as they are set to face Lahore Qalandars in the Qualifier match of PSL on Wednesday at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Our team and management are playing with unity and rest everyone knows that the result is from Allah. As far as your prayers are with us, Insha Allah, good results will come.”

Rizwan-led Sultans look unstoppable in the tournament. They have won nine out of 10 matches and finished the league stage on the top with 18 points, the most ever by any team in the league stage of the tournament.

The side is, however, likely to miss the services of Tim David today after he tested positive for Covid-19.

Meanwhile, Qalandars have won six out of 10 matches and finished on the second spot with 12 points, ahead of Peshawar Zalmi based on the net run rate.

Both Sultans and Qalandars have faced each other twice in the tournament’s league stage with Multan winning at National Stadium Karachi and Qalandars winning the Lahore leg match, the only game that Sultans have lost in the league stage.

  • ‘It shouldn’t have happened on TV,’ Afridi reacts to Haris Rauf slapping Kamran Ghulam

‘It shouldn’t have happened on TV,’ Afridi reacts to Haris Rauf slapping Kamran Ghulam

Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi has addressed a recent incident that happened in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) match between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi on Monday at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

PSL franchise Lahore Qalandars’ pacer Haris Rauf slapped his teammate Kamran Ghulam, who dropped a catch on his bowl to Zalmi batter Hazratullah Zazai.

The veteran cricketer said that whenever he met Haris, he (Rauf) was the best. “Haris is a simple man and his bowling shows how aggressive he is,” Afridi said.

He said: “Haris has not done a good thing and it should not have happened on TV. PSL is being watched all over the world.”

The former captain further asserted that if certain things happen, then lessons should be learned from them and caution should be exercised in the future in “grooming academies”.

He added that Haris will have to be very careful in the future as “his behaviour will not be tolerated in the future while the team management should have taken action on this move but it is wrong for the management to defend him.”

In the same over, Fawad Ahmed caught Haris’ ball and Ghulam went towards Rauf for a hi-five and that was when Rauf slapped him in frustration. He, however, hugged him later.

It was reported that Haris was given a warning by an on-field umpire and was not given any penalty for his behaviour during a match.

Multan Sultans’ key batter Tim David tests positive for Covid-19

Multan Sultans’ key player Tim David has tested positive for Covid-19, reported Geo News.

This can be a major blow to the Sultans who are leading the points table with 18 points in the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Tim has been a key player in the team as the Australian sensational six-hitting machine is leading the chart for most sixes in PSL 2022 so far. He has hit 20 sixes for Sultans.

The 25-year-old had also smacked second joint-fastest 50 of PSL. He scored 50 in the 13th match of the tournament against Peshawar Zalmi.

The report said that the player’s test returned positive during routine PCR testing. The team management, however, has neither confirmed nor denied the news.

It is pertinent to mention here that it was reported that Peshawar Zalmi players Ben Cutting, Usman Qadir, and Sohail Khan had also tested positive for the virus on Tuesday.

Multan is set to play Qualifier 1 with Lahore Qalandars today (Wednesday) at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Whoever wins the match today will directly qualify for the Final, scheduled to be played on February 27 at the same venue.
